Daisy, the fish and chips were lovely.

Going into town this morning, meeting DS2.
On our way there,we are popping into M&S food hall.

Not eating in town,we are going for a pub meal, the pub where we usually go.

It started raining about ½ an hour ago. if the forecast is right, there is a lot of rain for us today.

      Good morning ladies.

Nan2 the rain hasn't reached us yet but is definitely on the way.

Daisy, I will read your palace report in a minute

We had a good evening with our friends, and little E was fine with DD and GS1 putting him to bed. I think he enjoyed it!
He slept well and we are having a little pre breakfast CBeebies now.

Lots of rain forecast today so indoor activities for us. Little E and I are going to the cinema this morning to watch a CBeebies film . Less than an hour so ideal for his first cinema experience.
We will get the paints out this afternoon.
The forecast is better tomorrow so we may take him to a little animal park with play area.

        Morning ladies,

        Nanto
Enjoy your pub lunch , we have heavy rain at the moment and it's dark.

        Gem
The first cinema experience is hit and miss isn't it ,
I remember GS 1 sat and watched nicely ,GS 2 got bored after about 15 minutes, yet he could sit for hours at home watching children's movies,
I recall my DS his dad was exactly the same.
Hopefully E will love it 😁

B just washed all the floors and hoovered again,
Still lots of dog hair in the hoover,

I have some ironing to do then going to MILs after lunch,
B's younger sister took her shopping yesterday as we couldn't this week ,
She said she was in a awful mood so see what she's like today.
Im not fat just 6ft too small

          Good Saturday morning, everyone.

Nanto, I hope you dodge the rain while you're out shopping.

Gem, it sounds like a good evening and I bet little E felt very grown up with DD and GS1 putting him to bed. I do hope he enjoys the CBeebies film - a good choice for a first cinema experience. I hope the weather is better for tomorrow, or it might be two lots of painting.

Oma, dog hairs have a way of persisting, no matter how much you hoover them up. Eva's hairs roll up like tumbleweed sometimes. Perhaps MIL will be in a better mood today. Fingers crossed, but you handle her very well.

Plant, I hope the weather is okay for the birthday girl's party.

It's showery here, but not particularly cold. I wanted to do some weeding, but it's too wet now. It's a shame because I now have no excuse to leave the ironing.

Very dull here, very disappointing after the lovely sunny day yesterday. Off to Dil’s party at 2.00, I believe we have the barrels to take from the brewery near to us. I will not stay too long, GD1 is fetching me. It will be lovely to see people we haven’t seen for ages, all their old friends. One couple are travelling from abroad.

Oma, I hope Mil is in a better mood for your visit, she doesn’t try so much on you and B. I can imagine Storm was beside himself seeing his other family after being spoilt at yours. You wonder what they are thinking.

Gemini, I hope little E enjoys his first cinema visit and his painting.

Well H enjoyed her first full week at school, especially the ice cream van waiting at the school gates yesterday. I think her mother missed her and found it difficult to fill her day although she is looking for a part time job now. DD and Sil are off abroad tomorrow to attend a wedding. I just hope that baby doesn’t decide to arrive and they have to race back.

Daisy, I am sure you can manufacture an excuse not to do the ironing. What about getting the paints out.

Nanto, enjoy your day and lunch out.

We had just got into town when it started raining and it hasn't stopped.
              Its dark,cold and wet.
              Enjoyed our pub meal.

While were in town,we got a holiday to Salou booked for next month.

Nan2, what a lovely thing to do on a dark dim day. Something to look forward to

I hope it wasn't too bad with MIL Oma .

I hope it's a good party Plant. Good to have the option of not staying too long

Did you do any ironing Daisy?

It is a terrible dark wet day here, torrential rain.
Little E was such a good boy at the cinema, as I knew he would be.
I took a two finger orange KitKat for his treat, and he was equally delighted with that
He had a late lunch when we got back , followed by his nap. We have just played inside since. He had a bath this morning, so easy bedtime tonight.
This rain is due to continue until 4 am then be fine.

Been a funny old day here, dull this morning but mil, rain this afternoon and now sunshine!

Dd was playing hockey at the boys Grammar School this morning, so I caught the bus and went and watched her, Her team won 4-1 which they were pleased about! Walked partof the way back and caught the bus for the rest of the way! There's quite a steep hill and I didn't fancy walking up it!

Sorted out some paperwork this afternoon and trying to decide what to have to eat! Nothing taking my fancy at the moment!

Cataract operation seemed to go well and I enjoyed the coloured lights! While waiting the fire alarm went off, so DD stuck her head round the door and was told that patients were to stay in their room, but everyone else had to leave. So off she went chuckling to herself. It turns out some lad had just had a shower and had used an aerosol deodorant which had sent the smoke sensors off! I was glad I wasn't having my op at that time though! OH did that several times when we stayed in hotels. I think the smoke sensors can be very sensitive to aerosol sprays.

Anyway, upside of the op is that I can see much more clearly out of one eye, the downside is that I can see that my housewifery skills have been lacking lately! So I think I shall be undertaking an Autumn clean in the not too distant future!

Glad that H is settling into school Plant. I start again on Monday week, but I don't have much contact with the younger classes so probably won't see her.

GS is doing Sports Management at Leeds, Oma. He's staying on campus in a flat with 8 girls and 4 boys! Luckily, the rooms are all ensuite!

Daisy and Gem's S, I'm pleased that you're both doing well. I got to the stage where I could understand OH's blood test results so I had some idea of what was happening to him!

                  TAke care ladies. xx

WG, the downside of cataract surgery is seeing the cobwebs and dust

                    Don't overdo things

I hope your GS settles well and enjoys uni life.

                      Good morning. Cold this morning.
After the amount of rain we had last night, its a wonder we aren't flooded.

                      WG,glad the op went well.

I've just changed the water that was in the vases of flowers.I think they will last a few more days.
There is a pile of ironing for me to do,i didn't have time yesterday.

Dinner is cottage pie and veg.

                        Good morning everyone.

                        Ironing Nan2, what fun!

The rain has stopped and the sun is shining. It will be very soggy underfoot though.

We plan to go to the wildlife place with little E this morning and maybe have lunch in the cafe there.
Not sure what time he's being picked up but I imagine late afternoon as the wedding was in Oxford and I don't think they will be rushing back!
Painting this afternoon as it didn't happen yesterday. Too many other activities going on

                          Morning ladies
Sun is out but after all that rain yesterday it's still very wet.

GS coming for breakfast, he is back at Uni tomorrow
Nothing planned but ironing like Nanto,

We ordered some carpet cleaner for our Vax cleaner yesterday afternoon,
It turned up at 10.15 last night ,
We watched the Amazon van pull round but thought he was going to someone else as it wasn't supposed to be delivered untill today .
B said he might have been on his way home and was passing , but they have to have the hand held thingy allowing them that slot I think .

If I was on my own and he had knocked at that time of night I wouldn't have opened the door I would have gone to the front window and told him to leave it on the doorstep.

Lovely day here today. Shame it wasn’t like that for the party at DS’s and Dil’s for her 60th. It was a great success, in spite of the rain. Lots of old school friends of my sons whom, of
course, I knew, took them home worse for wear at times. Friends had also travelled from abroad to come. It is my GGD’s birthday today but I decided not to go as I have a sore throat.

Oma, We have had sunshine today also. I don’t suppose it will be long before you are feeding your GS1 again.

Gemini, It sounds as if you have had a lovely time with your GS3. Have you booked a short break yet?

WG, I hope you haven’t been disturbed with the possible noise over the hedge today, it was GGD’s 6th birthday. I decided to keep away as I have a sore throat. H is loving school.
