We had a very nice day.

Lovely food, time together, sunshine and crafting!
DD1 brought along terracotta plants pots, acrylic painting pens, violas and compost! We all enjoyed decorating them very much, including little GS3.
GS1 didn't come, but was fine alone at home for the afternoon.

It's great to hear about everyone's day today.

Gem, a pity GS1 wasn't able to join you, but DD1 created a lot of fun with her craft ideas.

I've posted on YEO. I've had a lovely day but am more than ready for bed now.

Night, night one and all. xx

Gem, sounds like you all had a lovely day yesterday.
Not much happening here today. No set plans.

Dinner will be fish fingers, potato croquettes and beans.

Good morning Nan2 and everyone else.

                  Sunny start here.

Aqua this morning. One of my friends is away for a week or two but I will stay for coffee if either of the others are. Out again for a cuppa this afternoon with another friend.

                    Morning ladies
A bit overcast here at the moment.

Hairdresser coming to mine to cut Dorothy's hair at 11.30
B has his bloods about 2 and I need to go and pick a dress up from Bon March I ordered ,
Lord knows if we will get lunch today as you can guarantee everyone will stay talking ,
Angela the hairdresser takes talking as an olympic sport 🤣 she's so funny too.

Hope everyone had a goodnights sleep

Good Monday morning, everyone (although I'm a bit late).

Nanto, if it's a quiet day you can sit and admire your lovely new-look cupboards - or are you shopping for new pots and pans?

Gem, another day of social whirl for you. It's lovely to sit over a coffee and catch up though, isn't it.

Oma, I hope you manage to get some lunch somewhere along the line. Hopefully B's blood tests will be good.

I slept really well again last night! I'll post in YEO.

Daisy, pleased to hear you slept well, now enjoy the sunshine.

I am sorry I have been absent for a couple of days, 1 day I was at GGS’s birthday family gathering (I hope we didn’t disturb you WG) and yesterday all the family were here for Mothering Sunday, Sil cooked the lunch.

Oma, I hope B’s blood tests were okay. My hairdresser is very chatty but she is always in a hurry, she has been doing my hair for over 35 years.

                        Enjoy the sunshine everyone.

Well they have all just gone ,
Dorothy's hair cut then endless cups of tea biscuits and cake ate ,
                          Lots of gossip and laughs.
Haven't managed lunch, though I did offer everyone sandwiches but no one wanted any.

B's had his bloods taken just wait for results,

Dorothy & James have been getting two budgies so we are going to meet them on Wednesday 😁🦜🦜

Plant, it's lovely that you have been happily occupied

I'm glad you are sleeping well Daisy.

All my coffee dates are done for the day
I forgot to post off my current passport today so must do that tomorrow.

Oma, hope B gets good results.
Our hairdresser could win gold for talking, she's not that funny though.

Plant, sounds like you have had some nice family time.

                              Gem, you social butterfly.

I think being chatty is part and parcel of a hairdresser's job. It would be awful to have your hair cut in a sullen silence.

Oma, I'm sure D and J will enjoy having a couple of cheerful little budgies, and modern bird homes (cages?) are lovely these days. I had a budgie as a child and he spent most of his time with his cage door open and he was very tame. None of our dogs ever chased him, and he was a real chatter box. But I do think they need a companion - they're such social birds. Have they chosen names for them yet?

Plant, you've had a lovely social family week-end by the sound of things. Doesn't it lift the spirits to be with the youngsters?

Gem, it's easy to forget sending your old passport back especially if you do it online. Glad your coffee "dates" worked out well.

Nanto, at least that will save money, not having to get new pans. Do you go into your kitchen now and look round with a sigh of pleasure?

I did a very small amount of pottering in the garden and summerhouse. I need fresh air, even if I don't feel like doing anything strenuous. I unwrapped all the plants that were overwintering in the summerhouse, and put some of them out in the garden. Then I repotted a spider plant, and planted its baby in a pot. My lovely next door neighbour took Eva for a walk at lunch time. Eva is still tired from. her busy week-end so a quick trip round the block was enough.

We've got some new neighbours in our cul-de-sac - I look forward to meeting them. It's such a friendly little community and I hope they'll enjoy being here.
