We're had quite a warm day, but cloudy. By the time the hairdresser had gone it was time to cook lunch - I made a cottage pie, plus 2 x 2 portions for the freezer. I had my hair cut a bit shorter - still a bob, but chin length rather than shoulder length. I did some gardening this afternoon - pruned more hydrangeas, cut the lawn and a few other odd jobs before I took Eva out.

Good morning everyone.
Sunshine here too Nan2
You were busy Daisy.
Busy day for me today. Aquafit morning, followed by coffee with (maybe all three of) my aqua friends.
Home for shower and lunch
Massage at 1.30
Home for a cuppa and prep tea as it's my turn.
Out again to see GS2 as narrator in the Year 3 and 4 Easter play.
Home to get tea cooked.
School and massage are both a reasonable drive away so plenty of driving today!
Have a good day everyone.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Good Wednesday morning, everyone.
Nanto, it always feel good to have a turn out of kitchen cupboards. Things we no longer need or use just seem to accumulate, don't they.
Gem, a busy but nice day for you. GS2 has an important role as narrator, but I'm sure he'll perform it well. Take care on the roads.
It's the usual Wednesday stuff for us. OH has just left to go and play cars with his pals. I've got dog training this afternoon, and need to get tonight's dinner in the slow cooker, get some washing on and walk Eva first. I'll pop back later. Have a good day everyone."Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

Morning ladies
Sunshine hear too,
Everyone seems busy today,
We are just back from Aldi, having a cup of tea before we finish the shed .
Then it's putting stuff back in, a lot has been under tarpaulin on the lawn for the past couple of weeks
And in the little lean too shed , we bought that for the garden chairs but it's been used as a extra shed .
The chairs never actually got in it,
Once that's cleared I'm getting rid of B will be tempted to fill it with rubbish again 😁
My late sister would have been 74 today ,Im not fat just 6ft too small

Waiting for Waitrose delivery, I wonder what I have missed off the list. Board games in village hall this afternoon. Beautiful sunshine here, hope it lasts.
Oma, sensible to get rid of the little shed before B fills it. You are having a big sort out.
Nanto, love the colour of you kitchen cupboards, time for a good sort out.
Daisy, Is that car able to be driven now? Lovely that your OH has a hobby with friends. Enjoy your walk, it is a lovely day.
Gemini, you must be very proud of your GS2, he has a very important roll being the narrator.
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Daisy
How did dog training go , did Eva enjoy it ?
Plant
Hope you enjoyed the games , how is H now has the rash gone?
Shed is done and everything back in ,
So much neater than the huge one ,
The fence needs painting now and the sleepers plus I'm having new astro turf put down,
but one job at a time , we still not sorted in the bedrooms ,
I still need the new shelf up and the TV on plus our headboard,
I'm thinking of leaving the headboard for a couple of weeks till SIL puts the new carpet down on the 9th
It's so heavy it will save putting it up then taking it down again , plus I have bought new fabric to recover it ,
It's standing in the spare room at the moment.

Nanto, it went chilly here as well late afternoon. You've done well to get most your cupboards done. Hopefully, after that you can relax.
Oma, it doesn't sound as though you will be relaxing any time soon with all those jobs lined up. It makes sense to leave the headboard until SIL does the carpet. A sad day for you, thinking of your sister. Sending hugs. xx
Gem, I don't blame your GS2 not wanting to dress up. I hate it too. I hope he enjoyed his role today. Do you feel better after your massage? I hope so. xx
Plant, I'm just doing my Sainsbury's order for tomorrow, and I'm sure I'll miss something off it as well! How was the games afternoon? Our kit car has been on the road since the Autumn, although obviously we don't use it much in the winter. They are now restoring a very old car belonging to one of the men who helped with ours. I think this one could take a long time!
Eva had a lovely time at training but wore herself out and is now fast asleep! It's funny how some dogs are good at some things and not others. One of the dogs amazed us today. Occasionally they have a skateboard to play with/ride on (in our dreams). They get regular treats but none of them actually put two paws on and scoot along. Today a little spaniel suddenly got the hang of it and was wizzing along really fast. It took us all by surprise.

Daisy, I would love to see the skateboarding dogs
My massage did me good as usual. I told her about my increasing lower rib muscle problems ( a legacy of breast radiotherapy on that side) she massaged and said there is a little delve at the back now where it has withered a bit. I don't think withered is the word she used, but I can't remember, it's too late at night
SIL2 was my date for the school play. We met early to drop GS off so had plenty of time for a good chat about SIL's mum and how things are going. I think it did him good to talk. We loved the play of course!

Good morning.
Daisy, I've got a lovely image in my mind of the spaniel using the skateboard.
Gem,glad your massage was good for you. Pleased you enjoyed the play.
Looks a bit dull here this morning.
I'm going to finish my tea, then get going.
I'm sorting the pan cupboard today. Anything i don't use, is going.Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Good Thursday morning, everyone.
Nanto, will your pan cupboard be bare after your sort out? You might be treating yourself to some new ones to go with your smart-looking new kitchen colours. There are lots of YouTube videos of dogs on skateboard and even bikes, and doing things like Parkur. Eva just likes the games and tricks she can let off steam, dash around and be boisterous. No delicate moves for her.
Gem, I'm glad the massage has helped again. I think I read somewhere that radiation can have the effect of 'thinning' your bones after prolonged treatment, but if I remember rightly you had a relatively short course of it. Is it worth asking the doctor for a check up and possibly a CT scan of your ribs? What a difference it makes when the sun shines. Have a good day with GS3. It will be lovely for S out on the golf course. Your SIL must have been very relieved to have a chance to talk to you about his worries about his Mum. He must be worried about both her and his Dad, poor chap.
We're having one of "those" days! I'd booked Sainsbury's for this morning, 8.30-9.30, and I was really cross when I checked and found that 5 items, including two lots of fish, were on short date (ie going out of date today or tomorrow!). Then the driver phoned to say he'd been delayed and would be late which meant that OH would have left for a meeting so I'd have to sort it all out myself. I was probably more cross than the situation merited, but I'd got today planned to get certain things done, and to take Eva over to DS2's this afternoon. (We'll be out all day tomorrow.). Grrr.... One of our lovely neighbours is moving today. They have lived in their house since it was built - about 50 years - and are moving to be closer to their DD and family. We'll miss them so much, even though we didn't see a lot of them. I hope the new owners are as nice.

Afternoon ladies ,
I've had a busy morning so I'm late coming on.
Daisy plans never go as you want them too do they ,
Can you reject the fish or had the driver already gone when you checked?
It's always hard losing long term neighbours,
When we moved my next door neighbour said she was so sad as we had raised our children together and it was hard having someone new next to them, but you get used to it.
Hopefully your new neighbours are nice and friendly.
Gem
As Daisy said it may be worth a visit to the Drs about your rib,
Enjoy your day with E ,
A perfect day for S to play golf.
Nanto
Did you get the pans sorted?
It's good to have a sort out.
We went to Aldi at 8 to take back some grapes I bought yesterday afternoon,
When I opened them last night in the middle was white furry mould
From there we went to Morrisons before going to MILs,
She was in a good mood today as she had her hair permed yesterday , she always feels better after a perm😁
Then to my niece's who has just had the hip replacement ,
My. G niece her DD is having a baby and asked if anyone had a spare baby gate.
As it happened we had one in the loft we bought when Storm was a pup to keep him out of the kitchen ,
So B got it down last night and I gave it a wipe over and dropped it of at my niece's,
She's doing very well sleeping well and no hip pain at all ,
Her knees are a problem and her other hip but this one is really good.
On the way home we called into the Farm shop for sausages, Gammon steaks and some belly pork for B.
We came home and made lunch , then B has started to assemble the drawers we bought in IKEA.
I don't intend doing anything else .
