Good Sunday morning everyone. Nanto - your graphics makes me think of Spring. Lovely
I hope Gem and S and all the other poorlies are feeling better this morning. It looks as though poor Oma didn't get much sleep.
I woke up feeling much better, but by the time I'd made tea and emptied the dishwasher I was worn out again! Still, at least the sun is shining and we may take Eva and Cooper to the paddock for Cooper's first walk off lead later.
Other than that I'm going to get some washing in and get ready for a busy week next week.
Nanto - I never think about freezing roasties - what a good idea.

Good morning everyone
Oma, I'm sorry you had a bad night
Nan2, one of my friends roast the potatoes and parsnips ahead for Christmas dinner last year, and she said they were just as nice as if they had been freshly done.
Nice wallpaper Qwerty!
Don't do too much Daisy. Your body is telling you that you need to rest and recuperate a bit more.
I am much better thanks. OH still suffering, but with another restful day today hopefully she will slowly get there. These things seem to take their time!
I shall be cooking a roast chicken dinner tonight, and visiting my mum this afternoon.

Good morning all.
Nice wall paper Qwerty , is it for one wall or the whole room.
Oma sounds like you and I had the same sort of night. I feel as if I have been up partying all night long but sadly that is far from the truth.
Daisy take it easy today, there is all tomorrow not touched.
DS will be here soon, we are having roast chicken with all the trimmings and for afters I remembered I had a frozen Christmas Log in the freezer and as DS loves Christmas logs that will be for afters if anyone wants it, I might pass as it sounds too sweet for me.
Hope everyone is well today
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Afternoon all.
I can smell all those lovely lunches from here
I hope poorly ones are still taking it easy and letting their bodies recover. It’s always tempting to try to do too much.
We had an hour’s walk around the cliffs.Quite fresh wind but lots of dog walkers and joggers out. It’s a popular route.
Just settling down to watch Jane Eyre on BBC2,I’ve set the recording as I feel I may doze off

We had roast chicken last night! OH did shopping on Friday when I was sleeping off my visit to dentist and he got a chicken with yesterday's date on it! So we're having cottage pie tonight instead!
Was on duty at Church this morning and it was the 30th birthday of the choir our organist runs...very good they are too.....and he produced some bottles of fizz after the service. Well it'd been rude to refuse a glass wouldn't it?
Still cold and grey here. Wish it would just warm up a bit and get rid of this biting wind.Believe you can and you're halfway there.

Just letting you know our friend John passed away this morning we are a bit sad well that’s an understatement , 44yrs of living opposite good friends is such sadness to see him no longer going down for his morning paper and he liked a flutter on the horses went down everyday to put a bet on, of course these past 2 wks we havnt seen that so in a way we have got used to it 😢
