Been to shopping centre to buy Cards then went to B&M , bought Storm a new feeding bowl and water bowl I think the ones we have are a little small for him now ,
The ones I wanted had a anti slip bottom , only ones left have bright pink bottoms but I don't suppose Storm will mind as long as he's not chasing them around the room and he can get his snout in them

Its raining here , well its pouring down actually . Hope the weather is much better for today's wedding.

Gosh Oma you were out and about early shopping today. I rarely go to town on Saturday as the roads are packed and it takes ages to get there and back,

It will be a day stuck indoors today judging by the weather , might have to put Sky this afternoon on and see what films (refuse to call them movies , I am British after all don't you know !) are on . I think I deserve a time with my feel up after yesterday's malarkey !

Good Morning.

It was throwing it down with rain earlier but has eased off now. Went to get a paper and flooded pavements everywhere .Then we had our usual walk along cliff to have a look at the sea.
Just having a cuppa then going to make a banana loaf.

Hope the day goes well for journeys,celebrations and day to day tasks.

Once the rain stopped, it got warmer and we've even had some sunshine. We're not that far from the wedding party, so hopefully they will have the sunshine too. It makes such a difference to ladies freezing in wedding outfits and smart shoes, and certainly for the B&G and the photographer!

Another lovely day here, hope the weather has been kind to Plant and her family.

Had a good day in the garden yesterday and this afternoon we’ve sorted out some stuff in the loft ready to take to a great charity shop near us. Feels so good to have a declutter.

Glad to hear weather isn’t too bad where you are Daisy and Enfys. Hopefully fine for the wedding.

DD and family are on the Isle of Wight celebrating other GM’s 70th birthday so I hope the weather is good for them too.

I had an hour’s appointment with the hissy thing. It passed reasonably quickly as I was listening to an Adam Faith CD..I loved him in the sixties and I knew most of the lyrics and even had a little sing a long.

When we got married it chucked it down. We only had a little wedding as we had done it before but we had a guard of honour with rainbow coloured massive umbrellas. It was a lovely wedding despite the rain!

So Clover I too did some hot flat hissy stuff as well. YUK.

I got a telephone call from the liquidators representative (my company car was collected on Tuesday and shipped off for auction). They said that my car was not clean and they were surcharging me eighty quid! It was spotless inside but as soon as I got the new one I told them I wasn’t driving it any more and it was no longer my responsibility consequently it has been sitting outside my house in the snow and rain etc. and collecting aviation dust, of which there is plenty! I told them that I had no intention of paying a penny to them and they said they would invoice me. Good luck with that one, cannot see them taking the trouble to take me and thousands of others to court for car cleaning costs and even if they did I am sure the court would look more favourably on us than the liquidators! anyway I have absolutely no intention of spending a single penny on that company.

Spent a few hours shredding documents Friday and a few more today. Cashed in my Oyster season card and have completed forms to cash in the small pension I have with the company. It is only in place because I never got around to cancelling it when the workplace pension came in a couple of years ago. I have another pension. I have also joined a load of my colleagues going for payment due to non consultation of redundancy. We might not get anything and it is a no win no fee but those of us that are going for it are long term employees so we are going to give it a try.

Tomorrow I am going to be a slob. I will clean the bedroom, have a bubbly bath, do some catch up watching and scout around to see what I can find for my horse mad niece who will be eighteen later in the year and nephew who will be forty and is keen on running and gym type stuff. My little sister is 60 in June and has always wanted a Pandora bracelet. Pandora are having a mid season sale and I managed to get a bracelet and a charm on line for a good price, others in the family are also buying her charms so we need to make sure she opens the bracelet before she opens the charms I really it will give it away! We shall be going to Wales for her birthday and I am making her cake.

I am home, got back by 3.30 and was swamped with wet kisses from Shiloh and hand licks from Tilly. Got a huge hug from OH as well, he is cooking curry first time in 3 weeks I haven't cooked a dinner. Hopefully DD will be cared for PROPERLY this weekend and there will be no more crises. Hope the wedding is going well for Plant and family. Lovely to be back in my own home, and tonight my own comfy bed.

I was forced to buy a new hot,hissy thing as the other one died ! I bought one with a reservoir as advised by my SiL who would be a member of the BBs if she was on here! To my surprise I fairly whisked through the pile though I did feel a bit hot about the gills! Relax ladies, there's no chance of me changing sides!!

Sun shone earlier and I got a walk in. Visited the new housing estates down the road and decided I wouldn't really like to live on either of them.

Just a quick one made a mistake and let M have a sleep this afternoon, well she’s still awake now, first she’s thirsty then needed a wee, J went out like a light having not had a sleep , jiggered here got a call from M to say could they come for lunch , wonder who’s idea that was ! Lol
DD is going to the Caribbean in July they have 2 dogs one is very old and she doesn’t want to put her in kennels yep you guessed it can we have her for a fortnight, now I don’t do dogs as such we used to look after her when she was young but then they got a great big boxer dog and I put an end to that , now when we have picked ourselves up off the floor we will have a chat 🐶
Oma so sorry to hear you missed bros birthday but you really need to keep B safe but that man in the picture is never 70 handsome devil too !!!
