      Ooh OMA IWOOT!!

We went out in Ruby the Roller Skate today. Did the dry run for the job interview and usual husband was all “you don’t need to look it up I know where it is” well he didn’t as usual. I resisted the temptation to do an “I told you so” but it was in my head. Need to buy a sat nav. BMW has a great one but I don’t think they would be happy if I removed it from the dash. Could cause a problem or two. Still don’t know when it is going to be collected. It is pretty filthy but I am not paying to have it cleaned the lease company can charge Carillion for that.

Othe than that that we are doing nothing today. It is very cold outside and I need to get my washing in soon or it will start getting damp again and I have nowhere to put the pull up dryer as the small bedroom is still full. That is a job for this week I am not looking forward to

Oma - I think she's gorgeous as well!!! A beautiful little girl - look at those nicely arched eyebrows and dainty fingers. xxx I want a cuddle!!!

Qwerty - decisions about moving house aren't easy (unless you have no choice!) and you've been looking for ages. It sounds as though your OH's idea is to move further away from the family, but how far is too far? The twins will be starting school soon (September?) and GD1 is getting more independent. As much as we'd like it, we can't keep them babies for ever. Also you have to think of yourselves sometimes. xx

We've had a mostly sunny day, although it has got quite windy and cold. We took Eva to the paddock with DS2, family, and Cooper. It was very wet and at one point Eva lay down and there was water rising up through the grass. When we got back I gave her a bath. Alabama Rot is a big problem round here and the thought that the water table was that high had me running to the bathroom as soon as we got her home. It took both of us to lift her into the bath, but she jumped out all on her own!

Zizi - good job you did the dry run before the interview. It sounds as though you're getting used to Ruby the Roller Skate, despite her lack of sat nav. Can you put a sat nav on your phone rather than buy a separate one? I've got a very old Tom Tom Go which has to be suckered to the windscreen (OH's cast off when he got his last car) and it's really annoying because it leaves gunky marks when you take it off. The liquidators can't seriously expect you to clean the BMW! Or leave a tank full of fuel!

I wish I was as organised at Nanto!! I was going to put a beef casserole in the slow cooker first thing this morning, but one thing after another happened, and I eventually put it in the oven just before 5 o'clock!

Gem - what games did you play this afternoon?

Been cold all day,but teperatures have really dropped now.

ZIZI, i wouldn't clean the car.

Been an easy day today.I didn't cook a proper dinner.
Hubby had a chicken tikka with rice. I always keep a frozen one in.
I had a cheese omelette, not had one for ages, and i really enjoyed it.

Hope everyone manages to sleep well tonight, myself included.

                      That baby is lovely
I hope you and OH come to some agreement about house moving Qwerty.
Daisy we played several games of Sequence, then HummBugg. A board game where you have to hum the tune written on a card. It is not easy!! I'm better at the guessing than the humming.
Fun was had by all, and lunch was good. The last guests left around 7pm.

The instruction re returning the car are set out in the letter from the liquidator. Nobody has had any further information although on the support FB Page someone who was chucked out second week in January had her car taken back quite quickly and was charged £800 for something which she cannot get to the bottom of as there is. Nobody left to talk to and the liquidators are not interested in helping. So we have been talking together and are going to hold out until after the last pay date which is 31st Feb before allowing them access to our company vehicles because after that they will have to go after us privately to get any money. Not sure that is the right thing to do but neither do I think the rules they are setting are fair considering the situation.

We had to use Shell fuel cards which meant we were paying premium price for fuel. Using Tesco 5p off and their petrol station I am saving almost 15p a litre. As I havent done any business miles since the liquidation and I will get private miles taken out of my last salary (five days work and 7.5 carried over days so hardly a fortune) and be charged for the petrol it is cheaper for me, if I use the car, to bung a tenner in until the light comes on.

I shall have a sucker sat nav. Daisy or I might get a sticky mat for the dash which I had before as well. I read somewhere that using your phone even if secured to the dash and not using as a phone is illegal. I had a tom Tom but gave it away when I got the new car. I don’t need anything fancy as I don’t anticipate doing any complicated journeys, just that if you are used to one it is good to have it.

havent been feeling well this afternoon and took myself to bed for a little sleep, didn’t sleep a wink in two hours but when I got up my feet must have got a clue because they both went to sleep and I could hardly walk until I got the circulation going again!

Oh and it snowed here today which was wierd as none of the forecasters said it would. Did not settle and it was only for about five minutes. Unfortunately we rushed downstairs to get the washing in and one of us dropped underwear on the grass. I went down this evening to put some food waste out and there were my knickers languishing on the grass. I have handwashed them and drying them on the radiators which is not ideal but needs must.

Gem sounds a lovely day and something really different to do away from the usual boring bits
We had Martin and Clare today a surprise visit which is always good with them too
DS was supposed to be bringing the GC but didn't turn up again with no text or phone call to say he wasn't coming , it was only when I text him he replied saying they were out shopping ,
I didn't bring him up to be so rude and bad mannered but there you go considers no one but himself ,
I love him as he's my DS but sometimes I don't like him as a person ,

Talking to Libra tonight she's really having a good time with her girls
As you can see by the time I'm not sleeping again

Gem, what a lovely way to spend an afternoon/evening.
Oma, sometimes people don't think to let you know if they change their plans.
Hope the visit from M and C made up for it.
Good to hear Libra is having a good time.

                                Good morning everyone.

I hope you feel better today Zizi and are not coming down with the lurgee which seems to have felled so many of us!
I'm sorry DS and the little ones didn't turn up Oma. I know how disappointing and annoying that must be, even though you half expect it. One day they will be able to come on their own.
Good to hear Libra is having a lovely time. We knew she would!

The sun is shining! It is frosty , but it looks nice.
Mum and I are going to see my sister this afternoon.

                                Have a good day everyone.
