I have bought a new Mini Cooper, waiting to hear when it might be available. If it has to be ordered, it could be 2 months but there is one with the right specification at another dealers, they are going to let me know if they can acquire it for me. I really enjoyed the test drive, I didn't drive off into the sunset with the charming young man or I think frightened him with my driving. My SIL thinks I should wait until the new reg. In March, we shall see. So many choices and figures to absorb, I was feeling very muddle headed when I got back. Feel better now after some bubbles with the family.

Plant, my niece bought a mini cooper a few months ago, she loves it.

Hubby gone to the car boot sale with his brother.

Mam rang last night, she didn't want me to go round, just wanted to tell me how bad she felt.
Asked me to go round this morning.
So it's a quick tidy round and quick breakfast for me.
No idea what time i'll get back.

Just put a lamb fillet in the slow cooker, potatoes and veg in the freezer.

Hubby picking Rosie up later this morning,she's coming for the day.

I do hope your MIL is ok, but I'm sure she'll feel better anyway for having your company for a while. I know I've said it before, but you are a lovely DIL. And I'm sure Rosie is looking forward to spending the day with you too. Eeeeek - the dreaded car boot sale! My OH has said his New Year's resolution is to get rid of stuff - I'll believe it when I see it.

I've never cooked lamb fillet in the slow cooker - I bet it's lovely.

A quietish day for me today. We going to take Eva for a good run this morning - just waiting for her breakfast to 'go down', then a couple of loads of washing, and that's it! I hope.

Dog fed GS up had breakfast now time to nag him into getting washed and dressed he has a Match this morning ,

Nothing planned just see what the day brings ,

Yesterday I had a delivery , the box was small and had Findus Fish portions printed on it !!!

I said to B who is sending me Findus products through the post ?
Inside was a grey plastic bag , in that was a spray product I had ordered from Amazon

Since when has Amazon used odd boxes ? usually its there boxes and mountains of packaging ,
Only thing I can think of its came direct from the firm that was selling on Amazon but wouldn't you think they would have there own boxes !!!

Later we are going to Harrogate. I booked us a night in the hotel we love there and have stayed a couple of times. I noticed they had January offers, so before Christmas I booked us a night in a superior room. Only one night, not far away, but it is a break and a treat

Didnt have a very good night, kept waking up so still feeling tired now. I want to get outside today and sweep the paths so hope the fresh air will perk me up.

I froze a chicken casserole that I had done in the slow cooker so we are having that today. A nice easy lunch. I am trying to use up what we have as we’re not sure what DH will be able to have for the first few weeks after his op, it will be a bland diet I think.

Yesterday we were asked if we would like to go to the races in March, its Ladies day and if we make a block booking we get a huge saving. At the moment about 12 of us are going. We have booked the local pub near by for a late breakfast and then its just up the road to the race course . Hope the weather will be kind. I have never been to the races before so I am not sure what to wear. DIL says that we don't have to dress up with hats etc, just smart casual ......now have I got anything smart casual ..... must go and have a look.

Oma, hope GSs team won.

Within ½ hour of me going round this morning, she was drinking tea and eating toast.
I think she gets scared, but as soon as any of us visit,she perks up.
2 of hubbys sisters called this morning, so i left them mam sitting.
Me and hubby went Asda to get bread and milk and a couple of ready meals for them.
Dad said he is fed up of ready meals, so hubby and Rosie took him a roast dinner,
and jam roly poly and custard. He phoned after and said he enjoyed every bit.
Told him it's meat and potato pie tomorrow, he said he can't wait.
