On a lighter note Plant I was nervous about a test drive for our new car as I couldn’t drive our other one and they bullied me into driving it before we bought it as I hadn’t tested the other one and then found it difficult, but I took to the car easily but you always think they might be criticising your driving under their breath lol

Qwerty I didn’t get a chance yesterday to say how sorry I am to hear about your good friend.I know you will be a big support for them even though it will be hard for you.

It’s a bit milder here today but rather murky at the moment.

Hopefully my long awaited washing machine is being delivered this morning so I must get on and clear the cupboard where the stopcock is under the sink.I have paid for installation and that is on the list of things they advise to do before they come.

OH is going to help a friend with something this morning, I have minutes to type up while it's fresh in my mind from Thursdays meeting. I must catch up here during the day too. I can see new threads and a story from Daisy, none of which I have looked at!

The meal and company at last nights quiz night were good. The quiz was not LOL. Everyone was complaining that it was far too hard - more like sitting an exam! OH and one of our friends both said they will not go to any more quiz nights where the quiz is set by that man!

Nothing much planned for today but I want to sort out the upstairs wardrobe, keep meaning to do it but get sidetracked. We’ve had some lovely photos from DD and GD in Australia. I’ve put one in my media of GD and a koala if you’d like to have a peek.

DH is itching to do some jobs but I’m trying to stop,him doing anything too strenuous and I’m keeping him away from shops and crowds this week ..... trying to avoid him catching any germs before Friday 😷. We signed up to Netflix last night, I’m thinking it will encourage him to rest more afterwards if there are some films etc he can watch. We’ve got a month’s free trial so if we don’t like it we can just cancel but there’s a lot on there so we shall see.
