Good morning ladies , dull and wet hear too ,
Put all the wet towels from our showers this morning in the wash , I hate wet towels hanging around ,I would rather wash them straight away ,
Did the ironing now having a tea break,
Off to Dental Hospital with B after lunch , one tooth out and three fillings , he's afraid of dentists so have to go with him
Enfys I know what you mean about keeping away from people , last thing hubby needs is a cold .

Gem the rain might ease you never know

Morning ladies pouring with rain here,so my OH has offered to dog walk bless him. I will go to see my sister later as it was her birthday yesterday and I didn't manage to get there with her present. Hope your evening was good Gem,shame you may have to forego your walk today. Dentist Oma hope all goes well and about your oven door. Enyfs sorry you didn't sleep well, too much on your mind worrying about hubs I expect.Daisy I am exhausted reading your post, can I have some of your energy please. Hope everyone's day goes well.Yes Oma saw about T's company, very sad I do feel sorry for those with mortgages and children to support a very worrying time.
Morning, not good weather wise.Same for most people I think.
Hope everyone is having a good day be it busy or relaxing.
Feeling sorry for Z as is everyone else I’m sure. Also those with mortgages ,young families etc. Such a large company and so many employees.Their debts are incredible.
Daft person that I am I am making a birthday card for my DD’s dog’s birthday. It’s not that I haven’t got anything else to do,including a huge pile of i.....g as a result of having a working washing machine. The saying that “procrastination is the thief of time”is certainly true in this house today
Ah well! I really don't know why I ever make plans and try and be a super-duper efficient on-top-of-it all housewife! Posted here then went to have a shower. My hair was all nicely covered in bubbles and I was enjoying the warm water on my aching back and suddenly - nothing! Zilch! No water! So I called OH (who was still in bed) and dripped off to the main bathroom, forgot towel, so dripped back and forth again. Turned on shower over the bath without thinking to check the temperature. It would have been ideal if I'd been having a hot flush, but I wasn't!!! Never mind. It was just the batteries in the remote controller on the shower - easily fixed.
Eventually went downstairs and put some food out for the birds - and as I closed the door the little glass dangly thing fell off and shattered - all over the dog's towel, the door mat and the tiled floor. How can such a small item break into so many pieces!! I'm so glad it wasn't the size of Oma's oven door!
So that's my morning! Other than getting the usual snacks for the GDs I've done nothing. (I always take a little pot of cheese for GD2 to eat on the way home from playgroup, and a pot of grapes for GD2 when she gets home.)

We are home now, having decided to leave the walk for another day! MOT and service for my car booked for Wednesday.
We feel better for our overnight break and bit of luxury
Good to hear all is well with the In Laws Nan2, I'm sure your home cooking will be much appreciated I should do more of it for my mum.
Not the most peaceful start to your day Daisy!
Poor B Oma. My ex husband was afraid of dentists too.
Clover, how can it be a waste of time to make a lovely card for your Granddog?!
Libra, I'm sure your doggies appreciate the cards
Off to mums in a while.

Afternoon folk, well I never got on here yesterday it was my dil birthday on Saturday but they went to a 50th, so we had a little celebration at my house Sunday, dinner sounded a good idea but forgot what it can be like in our house with 5 adults not 6 as sil has flown to Portugal on business for a week so yes 5 amd 3 children , it was very loud for OH oh dear. I put the beef in at 9.45 as it was a big joint and from then I never stopped DD was last to leave at 6.30 and took half an hr to clear toys away etc I fell asleep at 7 till Vera came on love that programme then went to bed
Gem I missed you going away sounds a nice treat you snook that one in !! Good luck with the mot 🚖
Oma that’s a lot of work to have done on your teeth I would have passed out
Daisy you must stop making plans it’s not doing you any good 😕
Enfys take care both of you it’s close now you don’t want any problems
Quiet day nothing much happening couple of loads of washing stripped the bed , sun shining at the mo but it’s been chucking it down , Twins tomorrow 👶🏻👧
We back they did his fillings and crown but wouldn't take the other one out as the Freeman hadn't sent the blood results they asked for
Got to go back next Monday for that , another appointment on the board
Oma - what a nuisance B has got to go back to the dentists because they hadn't got the blood results! I hope he's ok with what's been done so far.
Gem - you will have to save that walk up for a better day. Hope your mum was ok. Does this winter weather get her down?
Qwerty - you certainly had a busy day. I think doing a roast dinner for a lot of people is really hard work, so well done to you. No wonder you were tired. I hope you've had an easier day today, especially with having the twins tomorrow as well.
The rest of my day improved! Apart from really torrential rain driving over to pick GD2 up from playgroup. Thank goodness I wasn't doing the journey in the dark - it's so hard to see the flooded areas then. I also had Cooper for the afternoon - GS2 brought GD1 home from school and took the puppy back with him, ready for training class at 5 pm. Apparently he did very well despite being quite excited. He was picked out as the bounciest dog for one exercise, but in fact he did what was expected of him. Clever boy. Tomorrow I'm staying over at GD2's and having Cooper as well as GD2. I hope it's fine so we can get out a bit!
