We had had more snow which covered the area SIL cleared and now it is freezing. I am thinking it will be a no bowls day tomorrow but we shall see.

My mum has a midday doctors appointment which I will take her to. After that she is coming back here, and staying for tea. It will do her good to get out.

Well the sun is out and most of the snow melted ,

Gem it will be a nice change for your Mum sometimes they get into a rut and don't like getting out and about but when they do they really enjoy themselves .

Hospital again for us need to check his white blood count as its been low and they put him on jabs to boost it ,
I had a appointment to get my diabetes results but clashed with Hospital so mine had to be cancelled again and I will have to make another one .

Plant don't go out if its frozen over plus its very cold xxx

It's still snowing here! I think we've had another inch or so overnight, but our road looks clear and provided it doesn't freeze it shouldn't be a problem. I hope not since I've got to pick GD2 up at lunch-time.

Qwerty - I hope GD1 had a good sleep. I'm sure she'll be excited to go to school and tell all her friends about it.

Gem - I hope your mum's appointment at the doctor's goes well. It will do her good to get out for the afternoon and have tea with you.

Oma - what a nuisance your and B's hospital appointments clashing, but I hope they can boost his white blood count to where it should be.

Very white here. It snowed again overnight but road looks ok. Had a phone call to say my art group was cancelled as quite a few didn’t want to venture out and drive so that’s ok. We don’t have to go anywhere until tomorrow afternoon so should all be gone by then 🤞. Have a good day and stay warm and safe 🌞

No more snow, it is obviously with you now Daisy. Everyone in the house has gone to work so the roads must be okay. I am wondering if they will cancel bowls. I would like to get out, otherwise I don't see anyone all day. I am sure the roads are okay but our track and road are probably not and I don't want to walk across the drive and walk up the track to see and I think the car park at the hall might be icy, the sun is shining so perhaps it will melt some. I certainly will not be taking any risks.

Hope people who have appts with hospital and doctors get there okay.

Glorious sunny day here, but still a bit on the chilly side!
Art this afternoon and yoga this evening. Why do things always happen on the same day?
We've heard that OH's aunt, who died on 9th March, will be cremated on 4th April. Seems the time between death and funeral is getting longer and longer.
We've got hospital visits for us both this week. Me tomorrow and OH on Wednesday. Will be fed up by the sight of hospitals by then!
Hope other medical appointments go well and that everyone has a good week x

Lovely bright sun here has melted most of the snow, we have a very cold wind though. Not doing much this afternoon methinks a book by the wood burner will be just what the doctor ordered. Dinner is bubbling away in the slow cooker. Perfect.

Good afternoon all, as I am typing this the snow and ice is sliding off the roof and landing on the garden, we have got icicle's landing point down on to the lawn !

WeeGranny I haven't been to a yoga class for many months now and I do miss it but I have a yoga class on my iPad so I do that one day and my exercise DVD another day .
