I have just been outside to put our recycling wheelie bin out to the pavement.
I was dressed still in my pjs with a pair of boots and a winter coat and my hair stood on end like Stan Laurel
I think I frightened the cats that were wondering about.

I am just going to get ready to go to supermarket and high street. Last trip for me as I cannot stand the obsessive crowds. The supermarket is only closed for one day and looking at peoples baskets you would think we were on the verge of a siege, I also need to get some cash out. I should be home by 9.30 and I will do. Couple of modules of my course and do a general tidy up. I am supposed to be working today but I think everyone in my company has either gone on holiday or just cannot be bothered to work. I will keep an eye on my emails and do anything that needs to be done but I am not going to exert myself!

OH has a check up at the dentist’s and when we get back I must get beds ready for the visiting family. Sons coming for Christmas then we are off to DD’s for New Year.

B just putting a beef casserole in the slow cooker , Martin calling in this morning so we not going anywhere , nice to have one day without having to dash around ,

I'm feeling old today , DD rang last night she had her first HOT FLUSH I'm not old enough to have a DD who I old enough for hot flushes

No frost here today, in fact it is very damp looking outside,

On my agenda today are mince pie making, going into town to meet a friend for lunch and a catch up, we haven't met since this time last year. Then on to my last client of the year to do his reflexology treatment. Home for a quick tea, then OH and I are going to her brothers mansion, sorry house, to leave presents for OH's 2 great nephews, and a little something for the unborn baby!

Foggy here atm, I am going to WI to hand in a cheque but not staying for Christmas nibbles as I have the hairdresser coming. I must go and deliver local cards this afternoon and bank a cheque.
Living off the road has its benefits, I can get to the bins without frightening the local cats.

Good morning everyone.

I wouldn't have dared to show myself to the local cats this morning - after 4 days of non-stop childcare, nursing poorly children, dog sitting and a Christmas party at dog training last night I'm not fit to be seen by anyone. Sorry, darling OH, just close your eyes!!!

It's much milder here today - thank goodness - I hate the cold. It's damp and misty but I don't mind that. There was a lot of fog last night when I was coming home.

I'm going to decorate the Christmas tree today - we've only done one this year as we will be at DS1's for Christmas Day and Boxing Day. I've got a few loads of washing to do and the inevitable ironing to follow. I've also got to sort out dog food for the next 10 days or so and finish a few local cards - plus one to post which I had entirely forgotten about!

We're going to brave the supermarket tomorrow - we've got friends coming round for a drink and nibbles on Christmas Eve and GD2's 4th birthday party is at our house on the day after Boxing Day, so I'll get non-perishables for that. It will be so strange not getting a turkey this year.

Postman found his Christmas box taped to the door. Hairdresser just been, hair feels a bit tidier now.

Well I went to the supermarket and the local high street, And back tidied around, answered some emails, did an hour of my course during which KNOCK KNOCK, oh here are husbands new trainers I bought for him thenten minutes later KNOCK KNOCK and there’s were three enormous boxes on the doorstep. Looking at the boxes I realised they were the chairs but we did not order chairs, we ordered A CHAIR! I do not have room for three chairs as the spare room is full and anyway I don’t want three! I sent them back. The box is still on the step as I cannot get it upstairs in my own and also I had just done my nails.

husband is due in about 2.45 so looking forward to seeing what the chair looks like, Lucky I was in as we were told it would not be here until Friday.

I have to to say I don’t know why the general consensus is that the picture I posted this morning is me looking a little bit rough, I thought I looked quite good even if I do say so myself!
