No dog today or GS1 so going shopping when I can get myself moving ,
Tired and all stuffy but it's one of those colds that's not coming out its just lingering .

I think I eventually fell asleep about 3.30 and woke up at 7.30 so not too bad. DH slept well luckily. A restful day here today, I just need to pick up a prescription from chemist otherwise it’s playing nursey with DH 😀 When he was discharged the nirse said don’t lift anything, not even a kettle....he said, what for ever? Being hopeful I think, she soon out him right 🙂

Good morning, everyone. I'm sorry I didn't have chance to chat or even read other members' posts yesterday, and we're off out for coffee and lunch this morning, so I have to get my skates on - friends are picking us up just after 10 am. To be honest, I could do with having the morning at home recovering from a particularly extra hectic Tuesday yesterday, and I'm out for lunch again tomorrow! I can't keep up with this social whirl!

I've very quickly skimmed through yesterday - and absolutely delighted that Enfys' OH is home - I hope you sleep better tonight, Enfys. Safe journey to your DS. xx

Enfys I’m so glad OH is safely home with you.I’m sure you are an excellent nursey.I’m sorry you didn’t sleep well.
Oma that sounds like a bad night.I know you are used to it but that doesn’t make it alright.Don’t force yourself to do more than you’re able to.
We are off to have a wander round some shops quite a distance away and hopefully pick up a few C.......s gifts. We are then going over to our son’s flat which is near the shops. He is taking a long lunch break and his partner is cooking for us.It’s ages since we’ve seen DS so looking forward to it.

Ben’s Birthday is on Saturday but of course we will be away. Just made his cake and a card for him. Couldn’t find any decent birthday cards jut loads of Christmas ones so I made one myself!

Afternoon all sorry I havnt been on for a few days but it’s impossible with two three year olds 2 days running and eldest all weekend, so four days of childminding and a OH whose not well , but I amd not dwelling on it fed up of moaning so you lot must be.
Yesterday we took the twins to tropical world it’s got small animals like meerkats, snakes, birds fish etc everything small that lives in hot countries , plus tropical plants it was so cold out but we got in amd by the time we got a quarter of the way round we were mafted , kids loved it I havnt been back since we took eldest when she was three ! Youngest g/d must have enjoyed it as she told mummy on the way home “mmmmmm I had a lovely day today “ well that just made my day 😀

Enfys although the op has been delayed it gives him time to come round and hopefully enjoy Christmas, sorry DS has gone back but it sounds like you enjoyed having him home, you have a wonderful family

All fingermarks removed play doh picked off the carpet with a cocktail stick, four trips up the stairs taking toys back upstairs to spare room, tackling ironing pile shortly from washing in Monday !!!!

Bought the advent calendar from Jacque Lawson today it means Christmas is coming when I get that , love it opening each day as do the grandkids

Qwerty, we know how busy you are, even admin have days when they just can't get here! It's lovely to see you when you do have time, and you don't moan - well no more than the rest of us!.

I have a nice treatment and chat this morning, then OH and I went out shopping this afternoon.
She is now watching snooker on TV, and I must make a start on typing up the minutes, while they are reasonably fresh in my mind.

Went in to JL this afternoon to enquire about status of my curtains......seemed they hadn't been ordered!!! Someone should have phoned me when the order was placed to take payment, but nobody did. However very nice young man, spoke to someone, sorted it all out, took my payment, sent an e-mail and said to check back in a week. There was no point in getting angry with him, because he wasn't the one who should have phoned, but I think a letter to the powers that be in JL is in order. Thank goodness we kept the ancient blinds on the patio doors!And I shall be back in there next Thursday morning if I haven't heard anything. I really think they're inundated with orders because there is so much house building going on around us and everyone wants new curtains/blinds.

We had a lovely day.Browsed the shops then went to DS’s for lunch.We then had another look in shops and bought a couple of gifts. Treated ourselves to yummy cakes and tea in Morrisons then home on the bus to find my half price order from Cotton Traders in the porch.
