Plant I don’t have a case for either of my mobiles. sometimes I think I would like one but they both always end up in the bottom of my bag or in a pocket and I cannot find it/them so it really would be a waste. Normally by the time I have retrieved one of them (usually the wrong one first time) the bruddy thing has gone to voicemail anyway.

Good morning, Nanto and everyone!
Goodness, I turn my back for a day and look at you all - Zizi's OH chasing turkeys in his sleep, Clover using that flat hissy thing, Qwerty doing double duty on the Cleaning Freak scene, while Oma cheers her OH on slapping his thighs in his lederhosen, Gem taking up a new career in carpet laying and Nanto winning the prize for the blingiest phone case, Plant confessing her phone goes naked (Plant! it will catch its death in this weather!) and Mimi's miraculous transformation into stunning siren!
I spent Monday and Tuesday nursing a very poorly little girl GD2 with an ear infection. I timed my arrival on Tuesday morning just after she had been sick for the second time - I'm a bit ashamed to say I was relieved I'd missed that event. I can deal with anything else. Dashed home in the evening and immediately out to dog training. I got back about 11.15 pm and OH had already put the gammon on (for yesterday's lunch) and he could see I was tired, so he said he'd stay up and finish it off (cooking, it not eating it!). I got up early yesterday to make our first mincepies of the season, and our friends arrived in time for coffee and mincepies fresh out of the oven. We had a really lovely day with them - we've know each other for nearly 40 years and holidayed together a lot and our children grew up together. They've lived in France for the last 15 years though, so days together like yesterday are rare. It was so good to see them and we talked and talked and talked. I've lost my voice this morning!! We had lunch at home and then we'd booked a table at a nice real ale local pub and all ate far too much.
It's dark, wet and dreary this morning, but not too cold, so I'm thinking of taking Eva for a run in the paddock - the fresh air will do me good - and then I'm meeting up with friends for lunch - althouth I'm still too full to think about food.
And the final bit of news - I've got Christmas cards and have ordered a couple of presents - well it is December!!

Looks like it is a batten down the hatches sort of day today. Keep warm and dry everyone.
I just have a gel case on my phone, it’s supposed to protect it if it drops on the floor . I haven’t tested that theory though!
We we had a lovely night out last night . I have been telling myself all week “ Don’t have a starter, don’t have a starter “ But did I listen to myself....No ... I had a starter so I had no room for a dessert! Still we had a lovely catch up . One dear friend who has been battling cancer all year looked really well , her hair has grown back and it looks amazing. She looks as if she has spent a fortune in a hairdressers. She used to have short straight hair but it is growing back incredibly soft and very curly. Her mum has told her that’s how it was when she was a baby. Unfortunately our one friend couldn’t come as both her parents are unwell so she has gone to help them for a while.
I plan to take some Christmas cards down to the local shop today as they are a drop in point for the local scouts Christmas card delivery service. It cost 30p a card and the cards are delivered within the city . It saves me a lot of money as I still have lots to send by Royal Mail.
Still have more more cards to write and I haven’t even started on the wrapping yet.
Have a warm safe day everyoneBring me sunshine in your smile.

I got my first Christmas card yesterday and my own are all stamped and ready to be posted today. All of my shopping is done although I need to get some bits for the little people. But as they are Away for Christmas I am quite relaxed about it and will pick bits up as I go along. I do need to wrap the clothes I bought on Monday though.
Today I am supposed to be having a 1-2-1 with my line manager but she cancelled the time Overnight and said she would send a new one this morning. I am feeling quite tired today for some reason. Ironing fairy coming at 9.30 so husband is just about to pop out and get some cash for her.
It is damp outside and the sky has an odd yesllow glow so I am staying indoors with my woolly pulley and socks on.Last edited by ZIZI; 07-12-2017, 08:47 AM.If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together

Aqua for me this morning so up early, well early for me. The sky is a funny colour Zizi, not sure what that means. I have to do a tour around after aqua, dropping off present at DS's house, his birthday tomorrow and got to gert stamps for cards and post them.
I have heard that before Mimi about hair growing back curly after chemo.
Yes Daisy it is December, you will need to get a move on now. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Good morning everyone.
Lots of nice cheerful graphics today
Take time to breathe Daisy, after those hectic days! I'm glad you had a lovely time with your friends.
Shopping trip with DD Qwerty, lovely!
I hope Oma is having a good time.
Odd how chemo has that effect isn't it Mimi and Zizi?!
I hope it's not too cold at Aqua Plant.
I will do some more present wrapping today, and try to find places to put them all, as with GD and her baby brother sleeping over on Friday night I need to use both the bedrooms, so nowhere to leave stuff!
Mums shopping to do, then spend some time with her. OH will join us after golf, then the three of us are going out to tea. Fish and chips, mum's treat!“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Good morning, wet and windy here this morning but not so cold.
Had a nice day yesterday...friends round for coffee in the morning, lovely to chat to them and make plans for them to come to us on Boxing Day as usual. Then in the afternoon another friend popped round with our Christmas card and she and her OH came in for a cuppa. We hadn’t seen them for ages so lots of catching up to do.
Today we are out for lunch with some other friends so another good day.
Yesterday evening DH decided he would go to his camera club meeting as it was the Christmas party. I hurriedly bought some nibbles for him to take and off he trots. Half an hour later he comes back...he’d got the wrong date, it’s next week! That will teach him to put it on the calendar 😀"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." - Dr Seuss

Evening ladies had a good day with Dd today we laughed at silly things she truly is a special girl. Bought crackers, a top and jacket, bra, and treated Dd to some boots, I was on the look out for Xmas cutters for the g/c to make cookies when they are here week before Xmas but could only get metal stars I think the ones shaped like Xmas tree etc are usually made of plastic maybe the pound shop will have them , a miserable drive home the weather was awful. The sky was dusky Pink/purple and it bucketed down .
Tomorrow a quieter day putting up the decs and tree OH put the lights up outside today as tomorrow weather looks a bit menacing
Gem fish and chips you can’t beat them enjoy
Enfys isn’t that frustrating when you get the wrong day, hope the nibbles will last till next week
