Lovely sunny day here and certainly doesn’t feel too cold. P’s Birthday today, we will have a belated celebration soon when he is feeling like it.

We both slept better so fingers fingers crossed for a good day, no plans and I don’t have to go anywhere so a relaxing day on the cards.🙂

All change here. Youngest GS and DD2 have now both succumbed to the sick bug. Luckily her husband can work from home today. I just hope he doesn’t get it.
Others are still coming while DD1 is at work, so they can eat the rock buns. 😁

Lovely sunny day here and doesn't feel as cold.
Got a line ful of towels and tea towels on the line, blowing in the wind.
Got to nip to post office, then finish my jobs, then have a shower.

Sunny and windy here too Nan2.

Whoops I forgot we had a Tesco delivery due between 10 and 11. I looked out at 10 to see the van arriving! I was on the bed, but luckily I was dressed and had combed my hair as I had put the bin out when I fed the cats and made the morning tea. I was glad not to have been in pyjamas with unbrushed hair

Off to colour my hair and catch up on The Archers now.

Oma - sorry to hear B on't be home today, but better safe than sorry. xx

Yes, I could do with a good clear out!!!! Oh, you meant the airing cupboard.

Nanto - it's nice to see washing blowing on the line after all this rain. We've got the sun, but no wind today.

Enfys - I'm glad you both slept better, and hopefully the sunshine will help to cheer you both up, while you think up a nice celebration for P's birthday when he's feeling stronger.

GM - oh dear - they're going down like flies. At this rate you will have to freeze all your goodies till they're better. x

Mum has a 'tummy bug'. I know I must sound unsympathetic but these convenient things come regularly when she is due to go out, and at no other times! I suspect because she left the house yesterday she doesn't feel she can today. I got her to phone her friend, as I am sick of having to do everything, and she is perfectly capable of phoning her friend. We will try again next Thursday. Every other time something like this has happened, she has happily eaten the cake I take with her shopping that afternoon We shall see what happens this afternoon

Oh dear Gem of she has actually got a bug, hope it clears soon. I remember similar behaviours with my Mum. Perhaps you'll have to say oh dear Mum better not have cake if your tummy is bad.Lovely and sunny here, not a good day with DD, SILhas the patience of a saint. She gets fixated on something and there is no convincing her otherwise Makes for tension at times, I know it's part and parcel of her illness but I admit my patience is wearing thin. 😕 Shame she had 3 good days and now 2 bad. Hope as the weather is good we will get her out later. Such a worry, I don't recognize her at times. 😭😭. Oma hope B gets home tomorrow and the temperature gets back to normal. Hope everyone has a good day and have some 🌞.

LOL, Libra, I always say '"I've brought cake, mum, but shall I put yours away for later or tomorrow, when you feel better?" The answer is always "no, I think I can manage it now"

It must be difficult with your DD Libra. Enjoy your last day of this visit.

My GS always used to beat me too 😀

A good day here today, DH much more active and he’s enjoyed his birthday with a visit from DD and we FaceTimed DGD in Australia. It was lovely to talk to her and hear all, about her adventures. She sounded so happy and has made lots of new friends, her room mates took her out for a meal for her birthday and bought some cakes and put candles on them.
