Oma you have the same issues with clothes that I do, the legs and arms are far to long for my short limbs ! Have you seen the new fashion in jumpers and cardigans , the sleeves either have a tie cuff that dangles every where or they have frills added to the sleeves. To wear something like that I would end up with my forearm looking like Popeye's as I would have so much jumper shoved up my arm , either that or I would have to have arms like Mr Tickle

Oma hope you are feeling a bit better now, its horrible when you can't sleep isn't it

Oma, I hope you get some sleep tonight, sorry to hear you seem to be starting a cold. I wonder what B and Storm will find in the food cupboard.

I find jumper sleeves already too long for me without the extra frills.

Got to pop out this afternoon, I need salt for the softener, cash and some butter to make a crumble as I defrosted stewed apple thinking it was butternut soup so will turn it into crumble for my GS1 (father of GGS). and return a parcel to House of Fraser.

Oma, i have the same problem with clothes, always make me annoyed.

Enfys, only natural for your strees levels to be up, you have a lot on recently.
I bet you would have felt worse,if DS hadn't been here.

Gem, you would be very welcome to tea tomorrow.
Dinner today is cod in breadcrumbs, cheesy mash, garden peas (asked for by hubby) and parsley sauce.

            Shopping has been put away.

Daisy.......I'm only getting organised fro New Year because we are away for the earlier event and I don't have to worry about feeding anybody!!!
And I thought I'd get a free bottle of wine or choccies.......but I missed the deadline date! So the order is still sitting on the dining table!

                      Good evening.
Nan2, it was Oma who wanted to come to tea, but I will gladly come along too
Oma, I have pyjama trousers so long I fear for my life on the stairs! I hope you are feeling OK now.
I hope Enfys OH is home, and I hope Qwerty is OK.

The meeting this morning was very busy, and I have had no time to write up my minutes since. I hope I can make some sense of them tomorrow!!
I had a nice time with DD and little GS, he had such fun at the soft play, and squealed with delight when he saw me walk in
GS1 was happy when I collected him from school, he had the Good Listener Award.

OH is asleep beside me on the sofa... while a football matches plays on the TV

DH came home this morning and DS will be on his way back home nearly tomorrow. We are both feeling terribly tired - him because of what’s happened to him and me it’s stress I think. Hopefully we can now put this behind us, enjoy Christmas and wait for the next round. He had a phone call this afternoon from the surgeons secretary saying that the op will probably be mid January. They have to wait for him to recover from this and also to finish the course of blood thinning tablets before any surgery can take place. Everyone has stressed how lucky it was that this happened when it did and not when he was actually in theatre. It doesn’t bear thinking about. So we are treating it as a positive that this has now been put right and everything else will be dealt with.

It was lovely to have DS with us, both he and DD were fantastic and such a help.

Imthink I’m going to pop into the Granny’s Rest now whilst DH is watching the football. 🙂

It is positive Enfys, I'm sure of that.
Last January (4th) I had my operation, and was pretty successfully able to put it aside and enjoy a normal Christmas and new year (Despite the whole family going down with norovirus between Christmas and New year!!' ) I'm sure you will do the same, and you and OH will be ready for January, and successful treatment for your OH.

Enfys that is good news , he will feel so much better at home , is DS coming back in January ? its a long way and expensive though isn't it ,
B was diagnosed on the 23rd of December and we spent Christmas day trying to hide anything was wrong from the family we didn't want to spoil their Christmas ,
Its not easy but you cope because you have too , but its very draining get as much rest as you can xx

Enfys and Oma, hope you both managed to get a bit sleep.

We've had rain during the night.

I need to make some pastry later, and get the steak pies in the freezer.
