Nanto - your new top sounds lovely - very summery.

Plant - It's gone a bit chilly here tonight - I hope your GS has a nice cosy sleeping bag for his camping trip!

Qwerty - good to hear that things seem a little better with OH. x x

Enfys - did you knit and natter - or just natter?

My OH has been out to a wordturning demonstration all day. The demonstrator was a professional 'production' turner and he was making an item in 3 minutes that would take my OH several hours! OH said it was interesting and he enjoyed it. Then, bless him, on the way home he went to Sainsbury's and did the shopping. On the whole he does a good job with the shopping, but just occasionally things go wrong. Today's little mistake was with peas. The list said 1 tin of petits pois. I don't quite know what to do with the big bag of frozen green things - the freezers are full because we've just had dog food delivered and a friend asked me to freeze a cake for another friend who is on holiday at the moment. It's quite big and rather delicate so I can't cram things in round it like I usually would. The tin of peas was for the little store of tinned good I keep in the caravan.

I've had a productive day, washing bedding and towels, wafting the yellow thingy round and had a bit of a go with the sucky up thing. Do I qualify as a Bleach Babe yet?

Daisy, If you enjoyed it yes, if not it is a no. We had a bit of rain this evening. Out to lunch unexpectedly with DD, SIL and his mother plus GS 1 his wife and baby E. Came back and found GD1 asleep and a bit grumpy after her night out at the rave. GS1 still has his arm in a sling after his bike accident and is to see a consultant privately to see if it needs surgery, his brother Physio explained what he would not be able to do if he didn't have surgery such as a handstand or anything weight bearing.

Thinking of little T, hope her op goes well, her schoolfriends will want to sign her plaster.

Good morning Nanto, and everyone, especially Gem on her birthday.

Rude awakening here this morning. OH had arranged to go to the allotment with our friend, N - at 8 am!! I set the alarm for 7.30 and it didn't go off. Luckily Eva woke me at 7.40. Why N wants to go so early I can't understand!

Plant - that's a relief, I'm definitely not a Bleach Babe then - I hate housework, but someone's got to do it! How nice, having an unexpected lunch out. Your GS1 is a young man, it's worth him getting the best healing he can for his arm, poor lad. I hope he takes his brother's advice.

Sending hugs to Libra's T this morning. I hope everything goes smoothly today for her, poor lamb. xxx

Nanto - I hope the weather picks up. It's not bad here and certainly not cold.

          Have a good day everyone.

Warm here already. Funny how your plans change.......what an afternoon we had yesterday. Long story short - DD texted me to say GS had gone to the gym and she was worried because he’d been gone a long time and wasn’t answering his phone, apparently normally he would have been back United a while earlier. She had hurt her back and couldn’t drive so I said I’d take her to the gym, she tried his phone one last time and it was answered by a member of staff. He had been found collapsed in the shower and they had called the ambulance, We drove there is double quick time, armed with glucose gel etc. to find them trying to bring him round. She managed to get some gluco rubbed into his gums and the paramedic arrived. He gave him an injection and luckily he soon came round but it was so worrying, His blood sugar had dropped and they think the heat in the shower made him collapse. Luckily he didn’t hurt himself when he fell and he was more embarrassed about the whole situation, especially being found naked in the shower! Honestly, another worry so no sleep last night again.

              Good morning.

Oh poor GS Enfys Thank goodness he wasn't hurt.
I hope Libra's GD is not in too much pain today.

We had a good day and night yesterday, and I will update about all in my journal at some point. I am still in bed ,but having showered and washed my hair due to the strong smokey smell from last nights fire at the bbq ( a planned thing not one requiring the fire brigade I hasten to add )

I have yet to open my cards and presents, apart from mine from OH. I am so excited! It is a walking with alpacas experience for us both! I can't tell you how happy this makes me
Anyway, out to breakfast soon, and we are eating out tonight. Not sure about the in between bit.
Btw the man bought the trailer yesterday

Have a good Sunday, talk to you all later.

                Morning ladies ,
                Another Happy Birthday Gem
My niece and her partner along with his Dad are coming at lunch time to lift and take away Patio slabs , they bringing a van as there are 50 of them to heavy for car boots ,
Then SIL is coming to double check the size we need for Astro turf and to collect GS1's bike B has been fixing

Bit of a off night not just because I couldn't sleep again , but last night we lifted all the new planters from the patio to put them out of the way and I pulled my side so couldn't lie comfortable , a little rest and a hot water bottle and I will be fine im a tough old bird ,

Enfys GS can recover from embarrassment as long as he wasn't hurt that's the main thing poor lad
Gem love the Alpaca idea my kind of heaven
Daisy when you wake up like that it just throws your day out doesn't it

Forgot to say ladies , little T's op has been cancelled again till Monday . its shocking isn't it .,

Enfys, your poor GS, pleased someone found him, what a worry for you all.

Thinking of T today, good thing when that arm is set.

                      Good moaning each.
I do hope all the injured ones are soon on the road to recovery. Poor T LG, I hope they have the pain under control if she has to wait another day, and Enfys, what a worry! Glad to hear GS is ok though. Plant, I hope GS gets the right treatment for his arm.

Now Gem, please will you take a portable razor when you walk with the Alpacas. Then you can spin and weave something nice to remind you of your experience. Where will you do this? Are you being whisked off to South America? Have a lovely day.
Oma, take it easy today, lift nothing heavier than the kettle. Daisy, did you go to the allotment early too? I used to love the early mornings at our site. So peaceful. My adjacent plotter and I would rendezvous early to spray the tomatoes against blight.
Cat feeding here, my friend’s cat is a mouser and I think I saw droppings in the sun room. I may have to source a humane trap today.😬
Have a lovely day whatever you do gels.

Gem what a wonderful, thoughtful gift. Do you when it is yet?

Enfys your poor GS Thank goodness all well in the end I hope towels were soon strategically placed

Daisy ,perhaps your friend wants to work on the allotment before it gets too warm,or else he’s an early bird anyway.

Another wait for T and her poorly arm. Do hope it goes ahead tomorrow.

Very warm and sunny here today, even indoors. DS1 is here for the day to do some more clearing out of his old stuff. Lovely to have someone else to talk to who understands the frustration etc.I have with OH .

Everyone enjoy your day, especially the birthday girl.

Gem,like the sound of your present from OH.

Crikey,it's cold here.Even hubby says so,and thats not like him.
                          No sun here yet.

Gem - what a fantastic, lovely birthday present - it would make me happy, too. I love alpacas. I've just commented on your FB post - do you know they hum to each other? I think alpaca farms are becoming more popular and their 'wool' spins into beautiful yarn as GM says.

Enfys - your poor GS. I know it's critical when blood sugar drops like that, so thank goodness he was found quickly. Does he wear a Medalert type of bracelet or necklace? I hope it hasn't knocked his confidence, and also that he will laugh at the embarrassment factor. Sending you hugs - I hope you sleep better tonight. xx

Clover our friend is an early bird! We aren't!! Grauntie - no I didn't go to the allotment - it's far too early for me. It takes my back until mid-morning at least to co-operate with the rest of me!!

Libra - I can't believe that wretched hospital has postponed T's op again! I'm sure you're torn between annoyance at them and sympathy for poor T.

Oma - it sounds like another busy day for you - please don't over do things - you might be a tough old bird, but you still have your limits! x

Oh haven't seen that post about the hospital postponing T's op. that is not on, it should be dealt with as soon as possible.

Cant believe they’ve put off Ts op poor girl having that hanging over your head
Enfys whatever next, poor lad , good job DD did get alarmed at his lateness home, I dare say his being naked might have been the last thing on his mind when he passed out, hope he’s well soon
Oma I keep saying we can’t do the things we want to do but we keep trying, time to get the old Ralgex out
