Day of rest for me today. As you know I have 'payback' after pushing myself too hard. I do it knowing that but it's worth every ache & pain. The GC were super.

I wonder how Mr Daisy's appointment went? Hopefully your painkillers kicked in Mimi. Sorry to hear your GDT didn't get her op' Libra. The hospital doesn't sound very efficient. I hope she's not in pain. Wishing her & poorly people well.

Dull here, glad I did the washing yesterday. Nothing more than a hair trim for me and food shopping has to be done, just when I’m all revved up for a wire work project.
DDs back from Marbella later,I know some husbands and small children who will be very pleased, but I’m glad they have had a few days ‘sister’ time together.

Sunny atm, unusual for me I am going to paint, yes paint the hinges and handles of the sunroom, I had the sunroom painted recently but hadn't noticed he didn't paint the black bits, I hate painting.Out this evening to Trefoil, my Guiding friends, we are having a fish and chip supper. Beds are now gone from my spare bedroom, DD and Sil moved them into one of their bedrooms, dil took all the bedding so I have set up my sewing machine in there, not that I have any great plans for it, just more convenient to have it out when I do need it instead of keep getting it set up on dining table and then putting it away. I also have a desk in there and an armchair. Looks quite large with the beds gone.

Sorry for your lack of sleep Oma and Nanto and Nana make sure you rest today, as you say it is worth it when you have enjoyed your GC's visit.

My Neighbour gave me a £10 ARGOS gift voucher yesterday they got when they spent £100 and he was going to throw it away , so I bought a new retracting washing line

Its cloudy here but undeterred I have cleaned the windows, I wasn’t going to let a stupid hip and cloudy weather stop me . (I suspect it will rain now )

Oma it’s horrible when you can’t get a good few hours sleep isn’t it.
What do you think of your new washing line, DS and DIL have got one and they say it’s really good.

Nana2 you also didn’t have a good nights sleep. Wouldn’t it be lovely just to go to bed and instantly fall asleep till about 8ish the following morning... ah we can only dream I suppose.....well thinking about it, obviously not !

LOL, I should know it is Tuesday, as it is GS1 day (but I do sometimes have him on Mondays!)
I think yesterday felt like Sunday as OH and I were both free, and went over to mum's for a while.

Good morning everyone (well, afternoon now!)

It's my usual Tuesday madness type of day, but I have posted about Mr Daisy's eyes under YEO/OH's health. It was a bit of a shock, but nothing compared to what some people cope with.

We're still due to go away tomorrow, but I want OH to check how quickly he will get an appointment for treatment before we drive off into the sunset (or sunrise!) tomorrow morning. I'll try and get back on here later though.

Mimi I have had one for years this is to replace my old one , so much easier than having a rotary or washing line out permanently , once done with it just retracts away against the wall

Afternoon ladies no time to pop on earlier. Up at 6.30_showered and out with both 🐕🐕 by 9.15 before it got to warm for them. Home and cleaned bathroom, hoovered and polished everything that needed doing. Made a rhubarb crumble and one for the freezer, need to use up the rhubarb in our garden, we have also had a glut of strawberries. T's op didn't happen posted on YEO 😠 Hubs visiting his sister, and I''ve just sat down for lunch. Mimi hope the headache has gone. Oma how on earth do you survive on so little sleep, I'm going to buy a retractable line for our very small future garden, do they last well. ? Hi to all those I haven't mentioned, off to read the posts on Yeo 😀😀
