That is a bizarre shopping list Qwerty, hope you are successful.

Hope OH's hospital visit goes well. My OH had an appt at the eye clinic and we afterwards were driving to visit friends in Birmingham. I then had to drive and we had to stop in Henley-in-Arden to buy sunglasses for him.

Do hope little T's op goes ahead today.

        Good morning all.

I'm glad you slept well Nan2.
I have to laugh at the car alarm incident Qwerty!
I hope all goes well for your OH Daisy. Whenever I had had those dilating eye drops I have always been advised by letter beforehand that I won't be able to drive, so need to take someone with me or come home by taxi. If he hasn't been told this, hopefully they won't be using those drops! Not only can you not drive as you can't see well enough you would not be covered by insurance should there be any accident due to driving against medical advice

Nothing planned today except go to my mum's this afternoon.

        Have a good day everyone.

          Good moaning each.
Glad everyone seems perky this morning!
No evidence of mice in my friend’s house this morning thank goodness. The cat is fine but in hissing mode this morning. A split personality I’m sure.😾😺
Had to watch Poldark last night so I’m galloping around getting jobs done so I have time to watch The Handmaid’s Tale before I go out this afternoon.
          Have a good day all.

Grauntie, I watched the whole first series of The Handmaids Tale on Sky boxsets when OH was away. Next to catch up with the current series on Channel 4.

Hope everyone's hospital visits go well.

Slept in my chair when we'd dropped the GC off. OH woke me with my tea on a tray. I then woke 9ish at which point I went to bed. Woke again at 10am. Think i might have been tired😴

Hope you all have a good day.

I’m late reporting in today but my excuse is that I am having a horrible day.
The day started out downhill just by the sheer effort of trying to get out of bed . I’ve struggled all day to get around but the pain in my hip and back is making it hard work. Even my flipping toes are painful, especially the big toes . I’ve had to give in and take some painkillers so I thought I’d pop on here before the flipping things knock me out for a few hours !

How as evryone’s been . Did hospital appointments go well ?
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Awww Mimi, hope the painkillers kick in soon.
                        My day has been good,thanks.

Earlier on, me and hubby were talking about time flying by.
It's a year ago today, since our eldest slipped off his back doorstep, and shattered the bones in his left arm.
Fully recovered now, just gets an ache/twinge when the weather is very cold.

Poor Mimi! I hope you are in less pain by now. Pain wears us down so much.
                            Time flies doesn't it Nan2?

OH now back in mum's good books (despite the mysterious disappearing percolator top!!) She did a lot of gardening while I chatted to mum, and she has brought her 400 cigs back from Portugal, at half the price in the shops. A big saving for mum. We collected the branches from mum's garden and took those to the garden refuse section of the local tip on our way home. Our halos are shining
