Good morning all. Hope the weather is as beautiful for you as it is here, OH has just mowed the front lawn, I made a cup of coffee and sat out under the shade of the parasol. We wait for months for some sunshine then we hide from it ! We will have lunch outside before GD arrives
Iv'e cleaned all the conservatory windows before the sun comes round the back.
Believe me,when i say thank goodness for the window vac.
A bit of ironing to do,while the kitchen is still cool.

Nan2. Go and wash your mouth out with soap and water.....Uttering the word ironing on a Sunday ! What ever next , It the slippery slope it wreak and ruin young lady, you mark my words
We had a lovely evening with my sister and BIL, today we are just chilling. I need to psyche myself up to tackle the ironing, might leave it until it's cooler. Hope your all revelling in the sunshine.
I've been doing washing - not ideal on such a lovely day, but the laundry basket was overflowing!
Plant, I hope you have a good trip up to London and enjoy your afternoon tea. I hope the roads aren't too busy.
Gem - two meals out - both sound relaxed and fun.
Clover - I've done the bedding, too! I usually change the bed on Saturdays but with visitors yesterday I left it until today.
I'm sure there's a law about ironing on a nice sunny day - if there isn't, there should be, ladies.
OH went off early to do the car boot sale that got cancelled last week. He did quite well (better than I expected, to be honest!). My friend who looks after Eva called round and we sat in the garden having coffee. It was lovely just to sit and enjoy the sunshine.
I hope everyone is having a good day.

Another lovely day today. Did some gardening yesterday and am waiting for it to cool down a bit before I mow the lawn. So we had a lazy day this day and very nice it was too, out in the deck under the umbrella . Enjoyed ur lunch courtesy of M & S meal for Β£10.00. DH painted a wall in the conservatory this morning, another little job off the list...too hot to do much more. I need to catch up with all the news, have a good Bank Holiday everyone ππ

Good morning ladies, hope your morning is as beautiful as it here.
Temperatures are forecast to be very high today.
I think it will be too warm for grass cutting,it will have to wait for a cooler day.
Off to in laws later, i think i'll get the front and back doors washed while it's nice, amongst other things.

It's a fantastic day - sun shining and the promise of a lovely warm day ahead. So what am I doing to celebrate it? Can't decide between gardening - sorting pots out, gardening - weeding (much needed), gardening - cleaning algae and moss of the patio, gardening - weeding front garden, washing - whites and towels, cleaning - upstairs is like a bear pit. But whatever, it's fun, fun, fun!

Yes, I think grass cutting can wait Nan2.
Daisy, don't do too much of any of those things! Take some time out to relax and enjoy the sun.
We had a lovely time at DD2's yesterday. Roast chicken lunch, then an afternoon in the garden. It was bliss!
We had a meal in town with friends in the evening. We sat at a table in the window which was open. We had a most entertaining time watch hen parties staggering about, some barely dressed
Today is DD3's family celebration for her 30th. Her OH has booked a private dining room in a country pub for lunch. I'm looking forward to it, and hearing about the rest of her birthday weekend.
DD2 and I were saying that if this weather could have been predicted it would have been lovely to have had a family picnic somewhere rather than being stuck inside!
Friends are coming round this evening, but we are not cooking.
Have a good May Day bank holiday everyone.
