    Morning everyone.

Hot and sunny here .Managed to get a bit of watering done in the areas that stay shady until this afternoon.

We are off on our little coach holiday tomorrow. Have to order a taxi for 6 a.m as coach leaves at quarter to 7. Don’t know how much I’ll be able to keep in touch but you’ll know where I am.

Oma I have just been in our loft to fetch a bag and I don’t think I could do any sorting out up there today. I bet your arms are aching after carrying all those bags yesterday. We do these things and then pay for it afterwards.

Gem hope your weeding is in the shade. You don’t want the sun on your back.I’m sure the weeds won’t mind a little longer in the ground.

Take care of yourselves and extra thoughts to Libra.

It certainly is too warm to do a roast Nan2.
Clover, I hope you both have a good break. If we don't hear from you we will look forward to hearing about it when you get back

Clover, enjoy your trip, hope the weather stays nice for you and not too hot.

Dry hot here again, so relaxing watching the tennis with a nice cuppa. I cooked roast chicken for dinner...mad or what! But DH enjoyed it and polished off his plateful. I couldn’t manage mine so have put it in the fridge and will have it later.

Plant - I'm sure today is a bittersweet one for you. I hope at the forefront of your memories are lots of happy birthday celebrations your dear OH enjoyed. Hugs xxx Your GGS sounds totally gorgeous, bless him. xx

Gemm - well done to you for staying the course at the Carnival in that heat. Thank goodness GS slept well. You need an easy day today.

Oma - well done on getting all that fencing down to the tip. I hope your MIL appreciated it. Is she pleased with the new fence?

Libra - it must be so frustrating and worrying that they don't seem to be able to do more to help T at the moment, and don't overdo all the preparations for your move. It's jolly hard work at the best of times, and in this heat it's much harder.

Nanto - dare I ask if your OH bought anything at the boot sale? By the way, I have never thought about cleaning the oven as a boredom beater!!! But I bet it looks good now.

Nana - I hope you're feeling better today. xx

Clover - I do hope you and G enjoy your holiday. At least the weather forecast seems to be good for the next few days, and everywhere looks better in the sunshine. I look forward to hearing all about it.

Enfys - good for P for eating his lovely roast chicken dinner. I'm sure it helps with his energy levels.

I'm sorry I know I haven't commented on everyone's post, but our internet is so slow this afternoon it takes ages to go from one page to another.

We got home and unpacked the caravan. I've done 3 loads of washing (does that mean I'm turning into a Domestic Goddess?) We had a full English breakfast at the cafe on the camp site this morning, so neither of us want much tonight - hopefully I can get away with just making sandwiches!

Welcome home Daisy, sandwiches sound a good idea.
It's 30 degrees here so I did only a little weeding at mums, as well as her watering!!

Welcome home Daisy, I am sure sandwiches will go down a treat, with a glass of wine of course.

                    Welcome home Daisy.

Not cooling down at all to say it's almost 8.30.
Sat in the garden an hour ago and had egg/mayo sandwiches, with a cuppa.
Hubby's tomatoes are ready, so he has asked for a salad for tomorrow.
I will probably have a cheese and tomato sandwich.

Thank you for the welcome backs, ladies. Much as I enjoy our caravan trips, it's always nice to be home.

The sandwiches ended up being a warm potato salad (don't ask!) and it was definitely shandy not wine tonight! I've managed to get all the washing done, apart from one small load of whites which I'll save until it makes a full load, so I'm feeling quite smug about that!! Don't even mention the hot hissy thing, though.

Nanto your OH's tomatoes are doing well. We haven't got any ripe yet - but they were very late going in this year and they are outside. My lovely friend, M, came round every day and watered all the pots as well as the tomatoes. If she hadn't I think I would have had a lot of dead plants to deal with today.

Oma - threaten to take it down again if she doesn't like the new fence!!!

Gem - yes, that was definitely too warm for weeding.

Enfys - did you eat your delayed chicken dinner?

Oma, hope you are asleep now.
We have had the ceiling fan on all night, but i think i've been awake more than asleep.
Forecast for our area is a cloudier day, with rain in places.

Daisy, hubby's tomatoes are in the greenhouse.

                          Off to in laws later.

                              Good morning, ladies.

It's another beautiful sunny day here. I know I'm probably in a minority, but I wish this weather could last all summer. A few overnight downpours would be acceptable for plants, trees and wildlife, but I love getting up and knowing I don't need to think about a cardigan or raincoat when I go out, and to step outside into warm sunshine is a joy for me. I feel very sorry for the people who don't do well in the heat (my OH is one of them!) and it's rotten if you can't sleep even though you're tired out. Oma - I hope you can catch up with a nanna nap later on before you pick Storm up from his daycare.

Nanto - I usually put some tomatoes in the greenhouse as well as outside, but didn't this year. How are your In Laws coping with the heat?

I've got this morning to get some chores done - cleaning out and hoovering the caravan for starters. Then collect GD2 from playgroup. I'm not sure when they break up but it can't be long now. I wonder how she will feel about leaving there - she has had such fun.

Clover will be on her way by now - don't forget we want to hear all about it, Clover, when you can.

Take care, everyone, whatever you're doing.

Good morning Nan2, Oma and everyone else.
It was hot wasn't it?! We had to sleep with all 4 bedroom windows (2 small 2 big) wide open. I think they forecast slightly cooler temperatures this week and some showers. Let's hope they are right!

Relflexology for me this afternoon. Apart from that no plans. There is still holiday ironing, but I hate ironing in hot weather - not that I like it at any time!
                                Have a good day everyone.
