Went to see to cats feed and clean and to pick Storms food up from the freezer , sorted that into portions for next two days then round to Dr's ,
On way back we had a few spots of rain but nothing to talk about , could do with a thunder storm to clear the air ready for next sunshine ,

OH just left for a golf competition, at her club not away so at least no travelling. They will hope it doesn't get as hot as the last few days. The forecast here is 23 later, which is a lot more manageable than the 30 of the last few days.
I love summer weather too Daisy, and being able to be outside so much, so am trying not to complain

Good morning, another hot day here after a really hot night! Would like a break from it now, this heat drains me and I can do nothing. Still, a good excuse to sit in the shade with a cold drink and my book. I tend to do jobs in the evening when it’s cooler. Dexter here this afternoon, will fill up his doggy pool for him. Otherwise nothing planned. Have a good day everyone, keep,cool 🌞

Sunshine atm, drew the curtains this morning in my bedroom to find I had left a large window open all night, I live in a bungalow! Bowls for me this afternoon, will not be so hot this week, the village hall was very warm last week we were all so hot, finished early. I think we are forecast rain on Friday, just in time for our local music festival!

Plant it's a shock when you realise you left a window open that you didn't intend to. Hope you were pleased with the tennis results. Gem our garden needs weeding too but it can wait a little longer.

It was hot here too last night. So hot that our dog came upstairs to cool down. This morning OH & I were both hanging out of bed whilst our little J was fast asleep stretched out between us. That's never happened before. Oma, can you imagine that with Storm?😂🤣😉

Had quite a few visitors today,bringing cards and presents for hubby,for tomorrow.

It's still warm here, but not quite as hot as the last few days.

Nana - your night time visitor made me smile! Eva usually comes into our bedroom around 6 or 7 am. She creeps in very quietly and on to the bed trying not to wake us - until she stretches out across the bed, and she's not a tiny dog!!!

Well it's rained tonight so it's a lot cooler. Hopefully no 'visitor" tonight. 🐶

Storm is currently fast asleep on the Sofa , he's only allowed on at night time when I have covered it in blankets and he makes the most of it
Its so funny when I get the blankets out he knows and his tail wags , as soon as the last blanket goes on he's up there and wont move again till about 7.30 in the morning .
