    Good moaning Each.
Nanto2 that looks delicious, my kind of breakfast.
I had a ghastly night due to the fact that OH had treated the hall floor and had ended at the bedroom and so we were prisoners for 10 hours. I’m sure it was the knowledge that I couldn’t get out that kept me awake.Thank goodness for BBC iplayer, though listening to a play at 4.30am seemed a bit odd. Still, I did work out how to alter a dress and I decided a few things too, so time was well spent.
Have a good day all, if I can get to my sewing machine without sticking to the floor, that’s where I’ll be.

Good morning, ladies. That graphic is making me hungry, Nanto - yummy!!!

It's trying to rain, and we've got Cooper arriving soon for his 2 days holiday with us! I need to run the sucky up thingy round first - if I don't the dogs will just kick up more dust all round the house!

Well done to Josh - 5-0 is a pretty convincing win!!!

GM - poor you, but at least you put the time to good use. I hope the floor's dry now. Enjoy your sewing session.

Oma - my OH has rollers he's had for years - wool ones, and the man in the decorators shop said don't change them, you'll regret it if you get modern ones! So he spends ages cleaning them each time. Glad to hear DD's new door is finally being fitted.

I'd better get myself organised - have a good day ladies.

        Good morning everyone.

My OH has a practical nature and can fix things I could never do in a million years. However, any problem with the computer and she starts clicking this and saying Yes to that I am no expert but I am compared to her.

        Delicious looking picture there Nan2
Well done to your GS Oma.
        Daisy, happy dog sitting!
Grauntie, do you need us to send food parcels to your prison????

Usual Thursday here. Going to see my mum, doing her shopping on the way.

        Happy Thursday ladies.

Well done to your GS Oma, a really good win.
You will need to put a sign on your computer saying do not touch Gemini
Grauntie, how romantic being confined to your bedroom with the man you love.
Good luck Daisy with your doggy guest, he must be getting quite big now.
Hope you find your mum well Gemini

              Morning all.
Sun just peeping through.Hope it is over the water for Plant. We can see the coastline of Devon from the cliffs.

Yesterday we went to an out of town shopping complex. It was mainly window shopping though I did buy a cake slicer from Lakeland that I didn’t even know I wanted.

Today it’s general tidy up day.I am intending to sort out a cupboard that has a lot of old VHS cassettes in.What do you do with them? It seems wrong to designate them to landfill but no one wants them

Daisy brace yourself for your influx of dog and workmen.

              Have a lovely day .

                Looking very dark here.

Oma,well done to Josh and team. Impressive score.

Just had some shoes and sandals delivered from Damart.
                Happy with both of them.

Hubby had a new security light delivered, that he bought off ebay.

Only just had my shower, bit of tidying up to do,before we eat.

Plant - I do hope the sun is shining for you! Yes, Cooper is getting 'quite' big - he's H U G E and ... as I typed that he came into the room and decided he wanted a cuddle! It's a wonder the chair didn't collapse!! He's several inches taller than Eva, and is building up muscle at a rate of knots! We'll take them for a run in the paddock after lunch to get rid of some of their energy!

Clover - I don't think I've ever gone into Lakeland without finding something I didn't know I needed! It's that sort of shop, isn't it!

We've still got a pile of VHS tapes, but we have also got a player for them - not that I can see either of us using them!

Nanto - I've never bought shoes online - do you find they fit ok?

Grauntie - have you escaped yet?

Gem - I hope your mum is ok today. Are you taking your laptop with you - just in case?

I always look online now for shoes and clothes.

                    It's brightened up a bit now,but it's cool.
i've got trousers on today, first time since the hot weather started.

Well done Oma's GS. Daisy, sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your water-works.😉 OH golfing today so a quiet day for me.

The usual 1 1/4 hr journey back from my brother's took 4 1/2hrs. The M1 was at a stand still in the Nottingham area & sadly there had been a crash with one fatality. (RIP).

Just to say thank you for the birthday wishes both on here and on FB. I had a nice peaceful day. Lunch with husband and Tapas at home with fizz in the evening. My health problems are improving. My broken jaw has healed very nicely and my other health problems have slowly started to go although I do still have some stress related psoriasis on my left lower leg, I still do not have work but I have had some offers which I turned down on the basis that I have decided I do not want to do the travelling and long hours I previously worked. I have had some rejections and am thoroughly sick of hearing that I am too experienced, too senior, they cannot afford me, I would be bored and leave early etc. If I am going for a job at your place then I have read the job description and so, if you think I am over qualified etc., etc., just exploit me please! I have three interviews which I am waiting for results from and three applications (one amazing one) which I have applied for. Watch this space,

Anyway we have found that living on husbands salary is working out OK. It is really only me wanting to contribute that is driving my job hunt. We are still saving money for our retirement using one salary but plans have changed, or may change in the near future, I am, unfortunately, forced into the position of actually doing housework which I think you all know I am allergic to. I do still have my ironing fairy but also do the hot flat hissy thing with the things I don’t mind flat hissing. (i.e. tea towels, tee shirt etc). What is worrying is that I am noticing dust on the skirting boards. EEEEKKKK!

We are going on holiday to Portugal next Fridayfor six nights, we get back on the Thursday and my sister (who could take Oma on in clean freakness) is coming to stay for two nights with her husband the day after so I am feeling a bit stressed about that and inspecting the light switch plates for finger marks etc. Then we are doing Barbados in November, yet to be arranged and then we have a week in Tenerife in March. Free accommodation so husband has booked business class thee and back. How lovely!

Thank you again for your good wishes. I hope everyone is in good health and I am sorry that I am not as active in social media as in the past. I do not feel as comfortable posting any more. Apologies,

If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together

Good luck for the interviews, I'm sure something will turn up. I'm sure not working is a mixed blessing.
