Good morning everyone! Just a quick 'hello' from me.

Yesterday was its usual hectic self, and we're going out for coffee and lunch today. Which will be lovely, but the garage are coming to collect my car in a few minutes - service and MOT, I think - so I'd better get on with shower etc - I don't want to frighten them away!!!

It was quite cool here yesterday - down to low 20s - but today the temperature's already climbing. I feel really sorry for everyone who's suffering, though. Please take it easy, and I'll catch up properly later.

      Good morning ladies.

Nana, I'm glad your GS's day at school went well.
Grauntie, how are you feeling today?
      And you Mimi?
Nan2, I hope OH had good birthday.
I expect Libra is very busy with move preprations.
I hope the Clovers are having a lovely time.
Out for coffee and lunch sounds lovely Daisy

Today I am looking after GS2 and collecting GD from school. This is instead of Friday because OH and I are going away for the weekend. We were invited to a friends birthday party on Saturday, and decided that we would make a weekend of it. They live in Stratford upon Avon, which we love.

      Have a good day everyone.

Sorry I missed you feeling off colour Graunty. I hope you're feeling better today. I bet you had a wonderful time. Love the picture this morning Nan2. Not sure what I'm up to today. It depends how hot it gets.

Well, when I got up OH said he's been sick from 3.30 & was still being sick. He's taken himself up to bed. Not the day I was expecting. I'm wondering if it's the scampi he had on his surf & turf burger he ate yesterday when we were out for lunch or a bug? He's more concerned about the dog as he has a vets appointment today. Life eh?😉

I am very sorry to hear Libra's worries are getting worse, do hope the move goes well for her.

Grauntie I hope you are feeling better now you have passed it to Nana's OH. Hope you both feel better soon.

I have very sore feet, been on a trip to Hampton Court to visit the Needlework School Exhibition, very amazing. Gardens were beautiful too.

The good news is that they are delivering my new car on Monday so I now need to insure it, then I will have wheels again. I am feeling a bit nervous about it, I feel like putting it in the garage wrapped up in cotton wool.

Grauntie - how are you today?

Nana - poor OH. I hope he's feeling better now. Did you get to the vets?

Nanto - I'm glad you had a lovely meal out to celebrate hubby's big 7-0. xx

Poor Libra - I do wish there was something we could do to help.

Gem - what a lovely week-end to look forward to. Hopefully the weather will still be great for you.

Plant - I bet there were some stunning pieces of work in the Exhibition. How are the HC gardens faring with the hot weather? Your new car will be fine. Just enjoy it and the freedom it will bring.

We had a lovely day - coffee and then lunch. I unwisely, chose a veggie dish involving linguine and pesto sauce. The sauce was a bit on the thin side, and when I twirled the first forkful of pasta round my fork and lifted it out of the dish, it splashed sauce all over me! There was no hiding it - great blobs spattered over a turquoise top - a new one, of course! When all the jokes about needing a bib had died down (there was a group of about 12 of us) I ploughed on, and every forkful seemed to add more splatters! The top is now soaking in Vanish. Fingers crossed all the marks come out. Then we got home and Eva was sick all over her vet bed and on the living room rug! She's only ever been sick twice before and I think she may have been too enthusiastic with one of those 'tree root' chews which are supposed to be 'safe'!!!

I’m late coming on here today. It’s been a lovely day, a much cooler morning so I got lots of jobs done and DH was out in the garden hacking things down, he was in his element. I was happy to see him doing that as he’s been feeling much better at the last round of chemo. Only had one off day, an improvement in las time.

SO sorry to hear things are not improving for Libra and family. Hope her move goes as planned as I can understand her wanting to be with her DD and GC.

You will be pleased to have your car Plant, nice to be mobile again. Daisy, you need one of those pelican bibs our children used to have, do you remember them. But how annoying to spoil a new top. Hope everyone had a good day, any poorly people feeling better now, enjoy your evening. 😎

                        Evening All.
                        Feeling fine now thank you.
Plant, how I envy you your visit to Hampton Court and the needlework exhibition. Sorry to hear about Mr. Nana. At least he didn’t wake you Nana.
Sounds like a very messy day for Daisy, there is only one thing worse than dog vomit....hope Eva didn’t get that too. I’d rather have the spotty blouse. 😬
Gem, have a good weekend away. Glad to read Mr Enfys feels like a lumberjack.
Nanto2, belated birthday greetings to Mr Nanto2 and Oma....stoppppp! I have to run to keep up with you, you have so much energy.

We have tried to make our parched garden look a bit better as we have friends coming for the weekend, but it is a thankless task. No rain forecast for the foreseeable future. 😬

I was in the garden too. A lilac had got too big so I hacked the life out of it. I can hear you gardeners scream from here. 😲If anything survives in our garden it's by luck not skill. OH was up for a couple of hrs then went back to bed mid-afternoon. Think he'll have to give his golf a miss tomoro. Graunty & Enfys's P glad you're feeling better.

Hope those under the weather feel better soon.

We went to visit friends last night. They moved into a bungalow a few months ago.
I was surprised at how small the rooms were, the kitchen especially.
Anyway, it was nice to have a catch up.

Plant,i'm sure you will be fine, when you get your car.

Enfys, nice to hear P wasn't as bad after the last round of chemo.

                            Daisy,hope the top isn't ruined.

                              Good morning everyone.

Thank you Nanto - I haven't checked the top yet .... I just hope the marks have come out! I'd find a small kitchen very hard to cope with. It's the one drawback with our caravan - there's virtually no food preparation area except the table.

A catching up day for me today. I really want to do some gardening, despite lots of indoor jobs screaming for attention. OH has a meeting at 10 am, then he's going to see about getting the caravan awning repaired. The plumber's coming about 5 ish to look at the leaking bathroom radiator, and OH is going out to his wood-turning club monthly meeting later on. So I've a horrible feeling it's going to be one of those bitty days when I can't concentrate on one thing for long enough.

Grauntie - I'm glad you're feeling better - don't overdo it! I'm trying to do some gardening before we have GS1's birthday party here in a couple of weeks.

Enfys - same for Mr E - I hope his busy day in the garden hasn't tired him out.

Nana - I hope your lilac survives. It probably will provided it doesn't dry out too much. I haven't consulted any gardening oracles but perhaps a good feed, watering and a mulch if possible would help it come to terms with it's shorn state.

I hope Clover and G are enjoying their holiday.

                              Libra - sending hugs. xx

                                Good morning all.

Enfys, good to hear this round of chemo seems a bit gentler on your OH.
I'm glad you are recovered too Grauntie!
Nan2, I think some newer bungalows are quite small inside.
I hope you find some time to work in the garden Daisy!

I have written about last nights happening elsewhere!
Today is Tesco delivery then Mum's this afternoon. Usual routine, chatting to her her, taking her shopping to her, doing watering and weeding (an ongoing project!)
This evening I will pack for the weekend.

                                Have a good day everyone.
