Lovely sunny morning here, off to a gathering of WI friends, we are having a crochet lesson.

Oma, what do you do when you can't get to sleep, I presume you are downstairs and you can't use the sucky up thing.

Haven't decided what to do about washing machine, without a car I can't rush out and choose a new one. It keeps blowing the fuse in the plug, SIL has replaced it several times and it blows again. I hate this throw away age but the machine is quite old and probably isn't worth spending money on it, decisions, decisions. Do I call in the Bosh engineer just for him to tell me it is an expensive repair and not worth repairing and present me with a bill for that information.

We're off in the caravan this morning - Exebridge, near Exmoor - until Sunday.

I think there's wi-fi, but not sure what reception's like, so I hope to catch up tonight, but if not, just sending love especially to all those people who are poorly or whose loved ones are.

I will join the ladies with not enough sleep last night. I hardly slept with tummy ache, in fact I got up and had bath at 3 am for an hour or so! I usually know what has triggered an ibs attack, but not this time.
I am eating lunch and dinner out today, and atm don't feel like either! Lunch with my auntie, and dinner out with the 2 friends who were supposed to come to me for a takeaway last week. I will see how I feel later, and if need be cancel the evening. Fingers crossed it passes soon though.

Oh Gem you poor girl tummy ache during the night isn't nice , its not nice anytime but nights make it feel so much worse ,

Plant I did my housework quietly , then watched some rubbish TV , came on hear then played a game of word ,
When it got light I went out and dead headed the flowers , then went to bed about 5.30 up again at 8 , So will be very tired later

Good afternoon all . Its windy here today and we are getting an unpleasant smell from the farm a few fields away

Plant I phoned an engineer about our washing machine when it had broken down and I described the problem and we both agreed that it was the baring's which means the machine is only fit for the scrap heap but at the cost of £19 he would come and look at it to confirm it. I didn't take up his offer . Is the element 'going' on your machine as I know from a friends previous experience that was the problem with hers. As it was an old machine she got a new one so I don't know if that is something that can be repaired .

Afternoon grandmas weather not too bad here, DD called this morning as she was at dentist for her impression from the teeth she broke when she fell, she’s still not one hundred percent ,still getting light headaches and unable to stand bright lights so she’s having her eyes tested too, well not at the dentist lol teeth will be ready in a fortnight he is treating her to porcelain caps not usually on the Nhs but he’s doing them anyway
been out for a lovely lunch at a very nice pub I had a voucher from my birthday back in April don’t know why I was saving it for , so the sun was shining and we pushed the boat out

Daisy have a lovely break, we are looking for somewhere in Wales near Snowdonia back end of August s\c a log cabin or cottage but I must have a hot tub 😀

Just sbout to bring washing in glorious day for drying with that breeze , all clean bedding on , ready for a sleep now had a glass of rose and feel sloshed now cheers lunchtime drinking is fatal for me

Qwerty, I should have tried a hot water bottle, that often helps. I think I was too tired to think straight!
I had soup for lunch when we went out so not too filling. I am feeling better as the day is going on. I took more tablets at lunchtime, hopefully I won't need many more.
Nice to see auntie and we had walk around the gardens of the place we drove her out to for lunch. OH said she thought auntie was a bit quieter than usual. She ate a good lunch though so hopefully she is OK.

We dropped something off at one of OH's golf friends. who lives near my auntie.They are having new living room carpet delivered tomorrow so no furniture in living room. She apologised for not being able to offer us a cup of tea (although -she has had countless at our house) due to having nowhere to sit. All the while, in her perfect showroom worthy kitchen is a round table and 4 chairs!! People are funny.

Been a good day here as well weatherwise.

Gem, we spend more tome sat at the kitchen table, than we do in the living room.
In fact,at this time of year,we never use the living room. We use the conservatory a lot.
Hope Auntie is ok.

Morning , yes it looks like I’m the one up early today had to wait for GRU to come on as it was doing it’s stuff in the background, I woke at 5 this morning to the wind blowing and couldn’t get back off
Nothing much doing today a bit of ironing and bathrooms to clean, got a text from DD to keep Schtum but she’s taking us out for tea on Sunday for Father’s Day 😀
Hope everyone has a pleasant day , my DS goes to twins school this afternoon to get to know about the school routine, uniforms etc phew it’s getting closer to school intake

Very, very windy here. We had lots rain overnight, as Libra says the gardens will be glad. OH is playing in a golf competition near Hull. Mum day for me, and I am calling in on a friend for coffee on the way.
