I'm having a fairly lazy day. The dogs have mostly entertained each other and are currently fast asleep. I'll take Cooper home when he wakes up - "let sleeping dogs lie" comes to mind!

Nanto - how lovely to have a surprise visitor, at just the right time.

Daisy....OH's feet look a heck of a lot better than they did!! Told him he can keep going back.he has to use foot cream a couple of times a week because his skin is very dry. He can do that himself as he's got very tickly feet.

DD's doggo had to be taken to the vet again as he's kept being sick. Hope it's nothing serious as he had major surgery a couple of years back. Worrying when they can't tell you what's wrong.

First session at gym today, not looking forward to tomorrow as I'll probably ache in places I'd forgotten I had! Check in with a fingerprint so no cards to lose.

Sun has been shining and has felt quite warm too. Long may it last.

Enjoy your evening ladies and hope all bruised and poorly people are feeling better today xx

Wee Granny - I'm glad your OH's feet have improved. Is he putting the cream on in a morning and then wearing socks? That helps to make sure the cream does its job. Poor doggo. I wonder what's wrong. Is he being sick after meals, or is he not eating properly either? Brave girl, going to the gym. What kind of exercises are you planning to do?

It's been quite warm and pleasant here today, but this evening it seems much chillier. But I've also been sneezing all day and feel very tired - I hope it's not the beginning of a cold. Perhaps I should prescribe myself a hot toddy and an early night.

WG with having Diabetes I look after my feet everyday , I have a scholl pedi and use that to sand down any dry patches then smother my feet with foot cream or Vaseline or whatever I have and put socks on . It takes a few weeks to get them really smooth and moisturised but worth the effort , I'm sure he knows not to put cream between his toes though 😊

WG, I hope poor doggy is better soon, our pets can be a worry.
We had a nice afternoon in Scarborough with mum. We were so lucky with the weather as it was warm and sunny. There was a breeze too, but we all had jackets. She said the sea air, plus change of scene and our company did her good, She was tired out (in a good way) when we took her back at 7pm! I had to more or less make her go, as she was trying to get out of it saying we should just go out for lunch instead, not go all that way, as she put it. During the hour long drive there she was like someone who was being taken to be put in a home, not on nice day out . Of course I was right and once we got there she really enjoyed herself and was grateful. She ate a good lunch, and an ice cream before we set off back.

                    Good morning ladies
Not feeling at my best this morning.Fed up of having ½ an hours sleep then waking up and being awake for the next 4 hours.

                    Anyway the sun is shining.
                    Off to in laws soon.

Good morning, Nanto and everyone. I love the graphic - very pretty. Poor you, you must be so tired. I hope you don't have too much to do at your in laws - regular tea stops might help.

It's a bright sunny morning here, and the forecast for the week-end seems quite good, so I want to get a few jobs done in the garden before we go away on Wednesday.

Gem - I'm glad you mum enjoyed her day out, even if it did take her a little while to get into the swing of things. I bet she slept well after all that sea air.

                          Good morning ladies

Nan2 no wonder you are not feeling so good after so little sleep. I hope you feel better as the day goes on.
Sunny here too Daisy, I hope you get your gardening done.

GS2 will be here soon for his usual Friday, he will be staying the night as his mum and dad are going out. His big sister is away, so just the little one this time.

                          Have a good Friday everyone.

Oma - we're going to East Fleet - on Chesil Beach. We've been there twice before - both times the weather was worse than awful. Fingers crossed it's not 3 in a row!! It's a beautiful spot, so worth another try.

I'm sure Libra will be glad to get the move over with. Was there any news about T, Oma?

Gem - I bet GS2 will enjoy his sleepover on his own - he's getting a big boy.

WeeGranny - any news about your family's poorly doggy?

Have a lovely holiday Daisy, forecast is good I believe. Feeling shattered, we got up at 5am to miss the traffic, good journey but I need an early night. Will check in tomorrow.

Welcome home Plant, have a good rest!

I think they say 'Three time's a charm' in America Daisy, so I hope it will be for you

GS has been a busy little bee, mostly in the garden but inside too. The most time was spent carrying sand (first in his hands until he came up with the idea of carrying spadefuls!) from the sandpit near the house, over to a bucket, which he had asked me to fill with water, in the middle of the lawn. He spent ages putting bath animals in and taking them out, and digging in it!
I can hear him chattering over the baby monitor, hopefully he will have a little nap. He still has an afternoon nap, but being on holiday disrupted it all. If he doesn't sleep he will be going to bed earlier
