      Clover yummy looking indeed!
Oma, they don't fly until tomorrow, but are too busy to see me today, as a few things to do including goodbye lunch with friends and hair cuts, and I have to go for GS1. They fly tomorrow, from Sanford.
You were tired, you are allowed your tantrum!

The swingball lady forgot the bats! Luckily it turns out she lives round the corner from friends of mine, so she can drop them off there. They are mainly for the summer holidays so no real rush.

Good afternoon all. Its a cooler day here today bit that hasn't given me any relief from the old ha fever .

Oma when I read the second sentence I thought for a minute you were referring to B.

Anyone is very welcome to come round for tea and muffins.

Also been thinking about Enfys and OH.Really hope they get reassuring news.

We’ve Just been for a walk, half in woods but the homeward part felt like trekking through the Sahara with the sun beating down. Now having a refreshing cuppa.

Opticians changed my prescription sunspecks today. I chose a different style which I actually prefer. OH really enjoyed his relaxation treatments.

Enfys, I've replied in YEO. Oma I really don't know how you function on such little sleep. Hope you sleep better tonight.

I'm getting confused - this is Storm you're talking about, not B?

Ooops - just seen that Clover was also confused about that sweet face.

My excuse for the confusion is I'm in the middle of Whatsapp messages with DIL1 about GS1's first day on work experience, and I've got tears of laughter streaming down my face. I'll post separately about it when I've got the full story!.

Dull and cloudy here as well Nan2, and none too warm either.

I went to mum's, then to collect GS from school and look after him at his house until DD got home. I got in around 7.30, and put a ready meal macaroni cheese in the oven.

A strange thing happened when I was at mum's! She has asked me to find someone to tackle the trees in her garden. OH made a good start one one of them, but she is no expert and I hate seeing her up in the tree. Mum was asking me about this subject again today, when a tree surgeons van passed, and one knocked on the door!! He had been working on another tree in the cul de sac, and noticed mum's trees (In the back garden) when driving past. To cut a long story short, his prices were reasonable with her senior citizen discount and he told me what he would do and that they would clear all away. I spoke to mum and she agreed to have the 3 trees done. She would have preferred me to be there but I had to get off to collect GS. I phoned her from DD's, all all was done she paid the price we agreed and she is pleased with it. She said that they didn't remove the branches OH removed unfortunately. I wish I had asked them to! So, we still have all that to clear ourselves at some point. It turned out well anyway, and another thing off my To Do list!

Today GD2 was on an Inset day from playgroup, and since it was quite hot I decided to stay at their house with her and Cooper - it was too hot for the dogs to be chasing around all day. We had a lovely, relaxed day (compared with what you might expect with a lively, opinionated 4 year old and a 30kg puppy!) We played in the garden, pottered around the house - GD enjoys 'dusting' although there is more enthusiasm than expertise. After lunch we gave Cooper a towel (he likes to use it like a comforter to settle himself down to sleep) and DG came on my lap looking for a cuddle - or two. She's so sweet when she does this. We had a long conversation about how skin wrinkles when it's very old, and as she rightly pointed out she didn't have any wrinkles at all, even though she will be old enough to start school in September!

I just hope she doesn't feel too old for cuddles when she does start big school!

Gem - that was good timing. OH will be pleased she doesn't have to tackle any more trees!

Success Gemini, your mother didn't have time to mull it over and then change her mind, what luck

                            Daisy, nice cuddles from GD.

I love those spontaneous kisses & cuddles. I was getting out of bed the other morning & was sitting on the side of the bed. Gs3 who is 2+ ran in, kissed my knee then went out again. Awww.😍

Good that you saved S the job of tree pruning Gem. I bet your mum was really glad to see them tidied.

Had some rain during the night.

Gem, what good timimg yesterday, getting the trees cut down. One thing less for you and OH to do.

Daisy, good to hear GD hasn't got any wrinkles, even though she starts big school in September.

Nana, that was a lovely thing for GS to do.

Just the usual kind of day for me.

Wishing you all a good dayy.
