Nana - these are the tree root dog chews -
Antos Origins Natural Root Chews for Dogs Long lasting Natural Made from natural root Full of nutrients Eco-sustainable Antos Origins are our new 100% Natural dog chew. Our Origins chews are hand crafted from a special tuber root and are full of nutrients. These unique, eco-sustainable chew toys are gently harvested,
It sounds odd, but the dogs seem to love them, and although Eva has crumbled hers a little bit, it doesn't seem to go into splinters. The other family dogs have had them for quite a while and they seem to be a good chewing exercise, although I don't think I'd leave a dog alone with one just to be on the safe side.Deer antlers are probably better, but more expensive.
Oma - my OH is lethal with super glue - and then on the odd occasion I use it he gives me a long lecture about how to be careful with it!!!
Libra - Cooper has had a tummy upset today, and the training class before his last night was cancelled because 2 dogs were ill. I don't know why they didn't cancel Cooper's class as well - seems odd. Hopefully he'll be back to normal tomorrow. Glad to hear Shiloh is ok now, and Tilly doesn't get it as well. Good news about the house. I hope everything goes smoothly now.
Gem - you have been a busy bee! I hope tomorrow is a bit easier - or is it GS2 day?
Qwerty - so sorry I triggered the rush for Geraniums. The do look lovely, but I don't like the smell. But I gave a huge one to a friend for her birthday - it was white flowers with the very slightest blush pink to them - very pretty. So pleased to hear your neighbours are on their way out, and also DD on the mend.
Nanto - your freezer sounds like a treasure trove of feasts. Yum, yum.
It's been cold here today and started to rain around lunch-time. We've had a lazy day - BIL and SIL go home tomorrow. We went out for a meal tonight - a lovely old pub, and good food. BIL and SIL will probably leave late morning after a leisurely breakfast. Then tomorrow evening a friend from our time of living in Surrey is coming for dinner. It will be lovely to see her and catch up with her very interesting family. OH is doing another car boot sale on Sunday - with a friend this time - but otherwise we haven't any firm plans for the Bank holiday week-end. Between the forecast downpours I ought to try and weed the garden - it's getting overrun!

Goodness Daisy, one lot of visitors leave and you are cooking a meal for two more.
We have had had quite a good day weather wise, I managed to get the flame gun out to burn some annoying weeds in the paving. Had quite an upsetting chat with my sister who is very poorly, will put something in Yeo tomorrow
Qwerty pleased your nasty neighbours are leaving, hope the owner will be more careful who she lets it to next time. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Plant - I'm so sorry to hear your sister is poorly. Sending you hugs, and try not to worry if possible ( I know that's hard)
Wow, I can picture you brandishing a flame gun at those pesky weeds!
Our visitor for dinner tomorrow is just one person, and she's very easy company. She just happens to be in Southampton for a couple of days in connection with her job, so it's a good chance to have a get together."Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. Good morning all. I have just looked at the weather forecaster for the next day or two and it doesn’t look very promising.
Plant sorry to hear about your sister.
I would take advantage of it being a day when I can’t get outside to do any gardening to give the flat a good clean but as my new vacuum hasn’t arrived.......... any excuse
I could shorten my new trousers I suppose but it could take ages just to thread a needle. Almost every pair of trousers I buy are too long in the leg . When I look around me I see far more shorter women than tall so what’s going on ?
Have a good day everyoneBring me sunshine in your smile.

Good morning everyone.
We have rain, the rain the southerns ladies have had the last day or so, maybe they will have our sun now?!
I'm sorry to hear about your sister Plant. Do talk to us on YEO if it helps xx
Daisy, maybe you should change the name of your house to 'The Daisy Hotel'
Hooray for fish and chip day Nan2! I fancy some, but have the M&S meal offer for tonight. Maybe tomorrow
Mimi, I am with you with the short trousers thing!
GS2 day, and its rainingHe loves being in the garden. If it dries up a bit we may go to the park. DD is bringing GD here after school as there is something on at school this afternoon that she will go to, so no school run for me. DD doing something with friends tonight, so will quickly drop GD here, then SIL will pick them both up a couple of hours later.
Happy Friday everyone.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Good morning everyone. It's a bit dull and overcast here, and none too warm, but fingers crossed it improves! The forecast isn't great.
Our visitors are going home this morning. It's been lovely having them, and apart from Tuesday when we had GD2 and Cooper as well, not hard work. I've decided I'll make a spicy cottage pie for tonight - easy and can do it in advance - and probably fresh fruit for pudding.
Mimi - I bought a pair of trousers inthe sale, knowing they were too long, and I still haven't had them shortened. I wouldn't dare do it myself!"Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

Mimi, I hate shortening trousers, I find M&S 28 leg length is okay with me but I am definitely shrinking.
Not sure what the forecast is for us, we have had more rain in the night. GD1 is taking me shopping, looking forward to seeing the outside world. A visit to a hardware shop and Waitrose is very exciting.
GS2 is home for the weekend, will be nice to see him, DD and Sil are off on Monday to Madrid for four days, so pleased they are getting away on their own. GD2 has finished at University and has been home with a virus, now has throat infection and sinus infection, she was hoping to earn some money at the local pub. Perhaps GM will help out.
Have a good day whatever you are planning. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Morning ladies its started to rain and very dark ,
I didn't have a great night and have a tired headache but I have managed to do some work in the garden before the rain started ,
We are re doing the garden having the patio taken up and laying Astro turf so the astro turf we have at the bottom has to be renewed too to match ,
We have deep gravel boarders down the side and we are taking them out so can have the grass right to the fence es,
I have dug out 9 rubble bags of gravel out this morning my back and knees are killing now but its another job done , SIL is going to help me put it in boot tonight to take to tip tomorrow ,
He wanted to dig it out but this time of year he works long hours and then weekends its football with GS1
Plant poor GD she must feel yucky ,
Mimi its a pain having short legs , I buy my trousers in Bon Marche they so several lengths , I cant see to thread the machine now so don't alter anything now
Gem enjoy your meal and have your Fish and chips tomorrow as you say
Nanto nice when you have a day from cooking
Daisy how much do you charge for B&B hahaha
ahave a good day ladies off to take pain killers now xx
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Well I have tried, I really have ......Got the ironing board and iron out, then the phone went, another sales call so I got rid of them pronto
Plugged the iron on and started to iron, the phone went again, this time it was the Tesco delivery driver asking if he could deliver the grocery an hour early as he was close by. Turned iron off and went and put away the grocery. Turned iron again and the cat decided to cough up fur ball , turned iron off and went and cleaned it up. Turned iron on again. Then phone went again answered another cold call. Turned iron off and put it away... Will ty again tomorrow !!!!.Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Mimi - I think I've said this before - you really ought to give up trying to do the chores. You were born to be a lady and waited on hand and foot - that's why you get all these annoying interruptions and machines spitefully breaking down on you!!!
Oma, love, you're welcome any time. No charge because I know you'd clean through the house room by room before breakfast!!
Plant - your poor GD. I bet she's run down after her finals. Hope she's soon better.
Nanto - forgot to say earlier - I love that graphic.

Afternoon all it’s been raining since 8 o clock this morning cheesed off with it, I know the gardens need it but I don’t, the heatings on too as I’m cold
Doing a bit of packing we go to London in the morning, booked the taxi g/ d doesn’t know she’s going she thinks grandma is looking after her for a few days imagine her face 😲
Daisy the 2 pots of geraniums will look lovely outside our conservatory something to look at when sat there , we bought a hydrangea a blue one and the person working there told us to put a rusted piece of metal near it in the ground to keep it blue. I did like the white ones too but liked the Mediterranean idea , so no wonder it’s raining I bought some plants 😏
Today I did my Tesco food order usually have Morrison’s but it’s been rubbish lately but it took me ages to do it , it was like sitting an exam !
Mimi that ironing will not do itself stop asking these people to interfere with your day 🙂
Oma how is your DD after her fall now ?
Gem enjoy M&S meal hardly any cooking , I’ve run down my food as going away so think it might be egg, chips and beans
Plant sorry to hear about your sister hope it isn’t too bad, we are here for you 😘
Forecast for London looks miserable yet again for us, hope it changes ,when you have a 7 tyr old traipsing round London it’s not good , if you hear any distant sobbing that’ll be me 😢 we’ve so looked forward to this break and spending time with our eldest g\d . My dil is going to Northwich today with her mum and sil and niece with twins of course to the Geronimo Festival in Cheshire it’s put on by CBBC all the characters are there Mr Tumble etc bought tickets for 2 nights weather looks better there
I will try to get on this eve but not sure I will can’t do much when madams about see you in a week if not and don’t go falling anyone 💂🏻*♀️🚄🎡🗺

Step away from the iron, Mimi
Has your headache gone Oma?
Poor GD Plant, let's hope she is better soon. I'm sure you are glad to be going in after being confined to barracks through lack of car! I remember when I wasn't allowed to drive for a a few weeks after my op last year. If OH was out for the day it was strange not to be able to hop into the car and go somewhere.
The rain has finally stopped. GS and I didn't venture out as it rained hard all morning. He kept looking through the conservatory door to check it was still raining in the garden! He is such a good boy. He is having eye drops for suspected conjunctivitis and just let me put them in, and when it is nappy chnage time he just comes and lies on the mat like a little angel. He is gorgeous
I feel for OH who in in golf competition. It is a few miles away but not many so I doubt the weather would have been any different.
- We posted at the same time Qwerty! I had the heating on for a couple of hours this morning too.
Your GD will be so happy and excitedLucky girl! I hope you all have a lovely time in London.
