As always on Wednesdays I have lots of chat to catch up with, you're all such busy bees. I do think Mimi's outfit is stunning, and Nana has one as well!! I really must try and get with the programme!





Plant - I'm sure your friends and neighbours are only too happy to be able to help you out with lifts.

Gem - glad to hear your theatre group is 'working' - enjoy your first event.

Nana - a ball-cleaning brush sounds, errrr ..... well, perhaps I'd better not say. I hope OH enjoys his golf.

Wee Granny - it sounds as though your new kitchen has gone like a dream. I haven't heard of any 'organised' rock painting groups here, but GD2 enjoyed doing hers.

It's a beautiful day here, at last. I went to the hairdressers this morning undecided whether to have it cut quite a bit shorter or just a trim. The hairdressers know me well enough to say 'just a trim - you're so undecided, and you can always have it cut shorter next time'! On the way back to the car I passed a shoe shop and somehow found myself coming out of there 15 minutes later with a pair of sandals and a pair of lightweight trainer-type shoes. I don't know quite how it happened though!!!

Popped in to Morrisons, also in the high street, and got a few bits and pieces, plus sushi for lunch and two bunches of daffodils. I'm having a lazy afternoon to recover from all the excitement!

Gorgeous day here. Supermarket this morning, then we cut the grass! Looks great now and we can relax. I am not doing lots of pots and planters this year like I usually do, just a couple of hanging baskets. Want it nice and easy to look after. Hope you are all enjoying the sunshine 🌞🌞

I know I should be out and about enjoying myself but I have the worst chest infection ever.😢 Luckily I have some industrial strength antibiotics with me and I’m hoping I’ll be starting to feel better in a day or two.
Glad you are all making the best of the weather. Going for a snooze now.

Enfys - yes, it's lovely. It was hard to decide what to wear this morning! But out in town there were people in buttoned up coats and jackets, I saw one elderly man wearing a scarf, and people in shorts and skimpy tops (I waved to Mimi, but she ignored me!!! ) I must dig some summer clothes out!

Had a lovely time went quite a few places and to a Designer outlet where Brian bought me a lovely dusky pink leather back pack from Kurt Geiger
he also bought me some lovely earrings ,
Have DD SIL and Josh calling in for showers later there bathroom is still in progress , they have used ours the past two days ,xx

I have had a busy old week and havnt been on as much as usual for which I apologise, had a birthday lol that took up a lot of my time, Twins as usual yesterday so took the twins To Lotherton Hall where we went last week, they had such a good time, went round the stately home but it’s very child friendly J kept ooohhing and aaahhhing each room we went in , M seemed a little frightened by the big old furniture and four poster beds clung close to me , went to see the penguins J stood on some rocks watching feeding time, I looked at him at the side of me and he wasn’t there, it was like a funny sketch as I turned further round he was sprawled on his back looking up don’t know how long he’d been there he wasnt hurt it was a small drop but it was funny, on our way back he saw the ice cream van where he promptly said 99 😀
Today I went to the dentist for a check up I should be so lucky I need a large crown setting mr back £270 😢 and 2 visits quaking in my shoes now
GM bad luck about the infection but your in the best place nice and warm although I think it might be as warm here today take care

Dil quite poorly with viral enteritis so she off sick but , little ones at nursery she looks shocking to be honest

It is so sunny!!! 22 degrees according to my car. I will not complain (but it is too sudden, I was wilting in town )
I treated myself to lunch in my favourite cafe in the village, and spent an hour in there reading. I drove to town and got my theatre tickets and had a little mooch around shops, but it really was warm.
So nice to see actual sun, and people with no winter coats though.
I bet it's warm on the golf course!

Evening all what a gorgeous day it has been.Oma that bag is lush, glad you had a good time. Wee granny looking forward to seeing your kitchen . No change with DD about the same but they are happy with her little steps. Off to Difford hospital again tomorrow,another type of MRI Bless think she must be familiar with every gadget belonging to the NHS. Hubs and I are meeting up with his sister's tomorrow for coffee and cake and chat. Then I have a lovely basket of bedding to iron. 😖

Well family all showered and gone home , they have a toilet plumbed in but nothing else , got washer going with all the wet towels ,

We had a lovely two days didn't intend going back to the designer outlet again but we passed it on way back to hotel and decided to go in once more and I'm pleased we did because of course I got my bag
Seemed to pass very quick but at least it was a break from the norm ,
Back to normal tomorrow , Hospital at 10.30 then shopping

Grauntie! No! Not just when you've arrived! Sending lots of love, and get better very quickly. You'll have to save up the sangria for when you've finished the ABs, but concentrate on getting better. xxx

Gem - I hope S didn't catch the sun on the golf course today. My OH has been painting outside DS2's house today and he's caught the sun - the top of his head is looking very rosy!

I had a surprise today. I only went to see my dr yesterday, or was it the day before? Time is flying by) about the moles & she said she'd refer me to a specialist. Today I got a letter with an appointment for next Wednesday. Can't ask for better than that. Sooner sorted the better.

Oma. Good to have you back. What was the name of the shopping outlet? Loving your bag. What are your earings like?Sorry you're poorly on your hols Grauntie. Libra I'm really pleased your DD seems to be on an even keel. Qwerty, I don't envy you the dental bills.
