Morning all Happy Valentine to all my OH knows how to treat me he says I can have anything in the shop!!!!! Well it is the £ shop lol. Joking apart we are going shopping to Batley Molls the locals on here will have heard of it, a bit of an outlet but some bargains sometimes, then Valenatine lunch in the canteen sorr6 restaurant so will read posts more when I get back ❤️
I treated myself to some No7 face creams ( for the older lady ) as they were on offer. I had some mini versions of them for Christmas and I have to say they have been very nice to use. Not greasy, heavy or perfumed and a little dab goes a long way . Also went to M and S for a new dressing gown and when I came to pay the lady behind the till asked if I had a M and S sparks card , which I do although I've hardly ever used it . It turns out there was 20% off night wear and today was the last day of the offer. Bargains all round !
I also had to buy even more birthday cards. All these birthdays !
B phoned not coming home today but most likely tomorrow , DD taking me in at 5 , hes gave me a list of things he wants , Cake ,Sweets, , Pop , nowt wrong with the malingerer
Heavy rain here. Glad B is feeling better Oma. Enjoy your shopping, Qwerty, don’t go mad in the £ shop 😀
Off to the hospital shortly to see the stoma nurse. Too busy to do a home visit!! I am allowing plenty of time as there are the dreaded road works near the hospital and DH is obviously moving slower than usual. So disappointed with the after care. However, himself is feeling much better today, it’s me that isn’t sleeping and worrying...as usual. But I have a bottle of red open, and will enjoy some tonight.....he can’t have wine yet, shame 😜

Gm and Plant - I'm sure you will find each other soon! Good luck.
Oma - pleased to hear Sir hasn't lost his appetite. Is he saying that cakes, sweets and pop aren't on the hospital menu for every meal!!!
Enfys - I'm glad himself is feeling better today. You will have to head for the Granny's Rest before bedtime tonight. Perhaps before you polish off the bottle of red you've got stashed away. xx
It's pouring with rain here as well, but I'm hoping if it stops tonight and stays dry tomorrow by Friday I might be able to get out in the garden. there's much to be done.
Qwerty - don't go mad in the pound shop!
Mimi - you did well with the bargains today. Once is good, twice is brilliant.
I'm proud to say I pushed the sucky up thingy round this morning. It's shocking how quickly it gets full of dust and fur.
OH is working on his computer, and I'm on mine. Eva has positioned herself on the landing so she can keep an eye on both of us. I'm not sure whether this is doggy devotion of the highest order - or whether she doesn't want to miss out on possible treats, etc.

Well, now I am going to eat my words! The hospital visit went very well, the nurse was lovely and very helpful. The reason she was too busy to visit is because the other two nurses are both off sick with the dreaded lurgy so no wonder. All is going well with DH, she has gone through everything with us, discussed diet etc and gave him products to help with sore skin and lots of tips to help him deal with any problems which may occur. So we are both feeling much more positive. Am now home with a nice cuppa but looking forward to my glass of wine later 🍷
we are also dog sitting Dexter today so we had to leave him home alone at ours whilst we were out. He’s used to being left at his own house but this was the first time we’d left him but he was so good, still on his bed when we arrived home... he’s had a good run out in the rain, spaniel heaven ☔️🐶

Afternoon and back from shopping OH bought me a top more for the summer but quite nice, lunch out at Hannah’s tea rooms always nice there , bought some activity things for the kids at Easter assuming I will be having them possibly 🤔 OH never buys himself anything much but he bought a lovely coat three quarters and a bit duffle looking in dark blue stunning he looked in it flipping stunning 👴
Oh and brought cake home for tea !
Enfys that is music to my ears I think you do deserve that glass of wine tonight, pity you had to go through the problems alone to start with
Daisy OH did buy glue today from £shop wonder what he has in mind ?????
Mimi I like No7 face creams they were doing 3 for 2 but I could only get serum and day cream they do face and neck cream which is what I wanted but they didn’t have it , so didn’t bother it is expensive to buy normally cant buy it under £23 good for you anyway
