Qwerty - glad you had a lovely time, and a big 'well done' to DD for losing so much weight and resisting chips of her own!

It's quite scary the first time our GCs go on residential trips with schoool or other organisations. Wee Granny - I quite enjoyed taking students on trips, but they were that much older. The best trips were with the Cadets, on the Isle of Wight, although I also enjoyed Swansea University trips too. I'll be keeping fingers crossed for Qwerty's GD1 and Oma's O.

GM - ahhhh, I see you've gone off your window wizard then! Seriously, I hope you're feeling ok now.

I got 3 heads of garlic planted into little pots this afternoon, and this morning I did half of the dreaded housework.

Tomorrow we're going into rural Dorset to have lunch with friends. Given the forecast and where they live, I think it's a good job we've got a 4x4! Other friends are coming with us, plus Eva as it's too long to leave her. She had never met our friends' 14 year old Jack Russell, so if she's too boisterous for the elderly lady, she will have to wait in the car. She loves being in the car, so it's no hardship for her, and I don't think the heat will be a problem. LOL Weather permitting we'll take them for a walk lunch anyway.

Hubby wants to go to the garden centre tomorrow, just for a look round.
So, we shall eat there.
Really need some supermarket shopping, there is an Asda, quite near garden centre.

Good morning Nanto and everyone.

It feels as though we've gone right back to winter. It's rained heavily overnight here and it's still raining, dark, dull, just like November in fact! Plus a really cold wind. Next Tuesday, the 20th will be the Spring Equinox - the 'proper' first day of spring. Things will have to improve soon!

We're still looking forward to lunch with friends today and will keep fingers crossed the snow doesn't come until we get home.

Libra - I hope your train isn't delayed with the weather. xx

Well, yesterday afternoon didn't pan out quite as expected! Instead of going for GD and our nice half hours drive home and chat, I had to send OH. Poor GS2 woke from his afternoon nap after only an hour, very feverish and upset. He usually has 2 or 3 hours. He also needed to fill his nappy (which didn't happen until bedtime in the end!) and had tummy cramps. He was tearful and needed Grandma cuddles. So, my afternoon was spent on the sofa with a poorly baby, watching Peppa Pig and Hey Duggee. He had a very short sleep on my knee, which seemed to cheer him up a bit. He slept well last night so we hope he is much better today.

We had a good night last night, always lovely to meet up with good friends.
Today we are out again! Two friends invited us to join them to see Finding Your Feet at the cinema in town this afternoon, followed by something to eat. I am not one to turn down an invitation like that
OH is going to the golf club AGM this morning. Let's see if she manages to come back without a role

We have snow coupled with wind, very fine snow but settling. I am supposed to be going to a Spring Gathering for Trefoil Guiders but just had a chat with the friend I was taking and we decided best to stay indoors. the car park for this event is a short walk away from the hall and she is on sticks. I think she was relieved when I phoned her and since then the snow has got worse. I could have had another hour in bed. At least I can now watch the rugby.

I hope Libra has a good journey to see her DD and family.

We had a nice visit from our friends yesterday, so good to,catch up with them before they go off in their motor home to,Spain for a month. This morning I have my family history meeting which is always enjoyable then a restful afternoon at home although I have a few jobs that needs doing, Have a good day everyone, hope the weather is kind to us all 🌞

Good moaning. Snow here, how I hate it! I may have to postpone the glass cleaning as I have realised this is why my wrist is so painful! I will just have to catch up with TV.
Plant, good decision, not the rugby though. OH is gearing up for it too. 🙄

Been to MIL's the cold is unreal , we popped to Morrisons for some bread for her and as we were coming out the wind whipped up along with the snow and it was driving wind , it stung your face , so glad I had put my hat on .

An even later good morning from me too, snowy here one minute then brilliant sunshine the next, but bitterly cold .
Quiet weekend just mooching and pottering face timed the twins today didn’t fancy going out in the snow, eldest camping so hope all is ok
Called at my neighbours with the flowers and I might be repeating myself don’t know if I’ve told you but she’s going on a cruise in May with her niece and great niece and going to New Zealand to her DD for Christmas and staying a couple of months so good for her
