          Morning.
          Sunny here too.
Hair appointment this morning.A different stylist as the one I’ve been going to for years and years is taking time off .She has arthritis in her hands, work related no doubt, so I can’t really see her coming back.I hope I can get used to someone else and she “gets” what I like.
Hope there is good news for Libra today.
Daisy, the X-ray results will take two weeks. You’ll have to be very patient to await deliveries.
GM, a perfect day for a shell hunt. Our local beach doesn’t have many shells but the one a short distance away is awash with them.
Enfys, I hope the hospital visit goes well
.Enjoy the lovely Spring day everyone.

Sounds like a busy time for you coming up Qwerty, conserve your energy.

Hope your tooth can be saved Mimi, but crowning will be more expensive than extraction.

I do hope your friend is right Qwerty, why would she want tenants who are destroying her property.

I am not sure what colour nails I will go for, I usually have a darkish red when I do my own nails but they are so bad atm that I am going to have them covered up, but probably more of a pink shade. The future bride is doing the favours today with her mother, I think my DD is looking after E. As the three of them work in schools at least they have time. Haven't seen my GD1 today, she went to bed early, her father thinks she has a sinus infection, what with her fall and now this, she hasn't had a very good week.

                  Good morning everyone

Bright and sunny here, with a cloudless sky. OH and golf buddies going for a walk as the course is waterlogged, of course.
Doing mums shopping and visiting her on the cards for me this afternoon. This morning I shall walk down to the village and buy GS2's balloon for his birthday tomorrow. Since my GD's first birthday I have bought each grandchild a balloon on their birthday. The older ones look forward to them (especially GS1) and find them very exciting, for some reason

                  Nice picture Nan2.
Mimi, I broke a tooth (on an unpopped popcorn kernel) in November, when we were in London for the weekend. Hardly any tooth left. No pain in all this time, and although I should go to the dentist I haven't as I don't know if they can patch it up, and I don't want an extraction either!
Qwerty, your lovely DD appreciates you, and rightly so, have a lovely day!
Gels are lovely and shiny Plant, you will look very posh for Saturday
I hope it works out with the new hairdresser, Clover.
I hope all the deliveries arrive Daisy.
Collecting shells sounds a nice activity Grauntie.
Too right Enfys, we must make the most of any nice days we get! I'm quite envious of OH and friends doing something nice on the one nice day of the week!

                  Happy Thursday everyone!

Morning ladies, the sun is shining in Devon as well. Another round of washing, cleaning here The laundry is like the forth bridge, get to the end and start all over again 😛
Will visit DD later, another Doctor said definitely not a scoliosis, possibly lesions in neck and spine. Another more in depth MRI needed, they may do it under general anaesthesia. But have to weigh up the risk, think they are going down every avenue to discover a clue as to why her sodium is so hard to balance. Hope your all having and enjoying good weather 🌞

Wall to wall sunshine here, but sadly still a cold wind!

Yesterday's funeral was one of the nicest I've been to and considering I didn't really know OH's aunt very well really made me emotional. OH said he hasn't seen me so upset for a very long time. Am still trying to work out what caused it! The cremation before ours was a Sikh one. Loads of people with men in turbans or triangular headscarves and women all with white scarves. Quarter of an hour after they'd gone in, they were all coming back out again. I assume they just have the committal and have a service back at their temple ( Not even attempting to spell the correct name!).Afterwards there was a 'do' at the retirement complex where they lived. Again it was really nice. Lots of lovely food and plenty to drink and also meeting of the cousins who hadn't met up since who knows when. They're all spread out over the country and abroad.

Kitchen coming on apace, floor cupboards in place with work surfaces going on as I speak. Walls painted tomorrow, floor man coming in for first coat and returning Thursday to finish job. So all looking good, but I won't half be glad when it's all finished!

LG hope you find T a bit better today.

WG, we never know when or why emotions hit us. I'm glad your OH's aunt had a nice funeral. I'm sure you will be glad when the kitchen is finished!
Enjoy the sunshine Libra. At least they seem to be exploring every avenue to get to the bottom of things for your DD.

Appointment went well, update on YEO.

We had a lovely walk around our local little market town then a delicious pub lunch, still feel full so no tea for me! Sun is still shining, what a difference it makes. 🌞

It is lovely here, bright sunshine, blue sky, not exactly baking hot but lovely in the garden so spent some time out there with husband weeding and stuff. Then indoors to shred the final Carillion stuff and ditch. I would like to make a big bonfire but I had better not. My company car was finally collected on Tuesday, bit emotional seeing it go because it was a lovely car but I have Ruby the Roller Skate now. It is bought and paid for e en though relatively cheap (first time for fifteen years I have owned my own car!). We put £38 in to fill it up a while ago and it did 350 miles! We were running on empty when we filled up today.

I did a massive white white wash including the shower curtain which had some stain on it. Goodness knows what it was. Anyway hung the washing out and when we went down to the garden some naughty bird had used it as a toilet big time, smacked wings. Had to bring it up and wash it by hand. Nice to be able to dr6 stuff outside though, it always smells nicer doesn’t it?

Will post in YEO re job as you never know who is looking and if they can identify you.

Glad to hear your DD is getting the right treatment LG
WG I am very emotional at the moment but I must say that even in “normal” times there are certain things that start me off without any warning

Sadie and Joe’s faithful old Parsons Jack Russell died last week. Joe was inconsolable. The parents have bought two puppies, they are jack russells crossed with something else but I. Annot remember what. They collected them from Kent on Monday night. On Sunday Sadie phoned me and asked me if I would look after the dogs when they went on holiday. Apparently it would mean “only” feeding them, taking them out for walks three times a days, letting them into the garden, poo picking etc. I did have to gently point out that they live seven miles away and grandma isn’t not a great dog lover (wouldn’t see any harm come to them but I am scared of them although teeny puppies I could probably cope with. It turns out that mummy and daddy had to,d the children that this time around the pets would have to go into kennels when they are older and the family go on holiday and Sadie called me as she didn’t think they would like to be in kennels. I have been released from considering these duties. Mummy and daddy did not know she was phoning me. Resourceful little girl I say. She is desperate for us to go and see them so we are going Monday.

the puppies are now called Cooper (Daisy!) and Kiki, slightly better than the original decision of Clive for the male dog which had the husband in fits of giggles.
