Good morning, ladies. Needless to say I didn't get back on here after dog training - we were late starting and then overran, so it was after 11 pm when I got home and went straight to bed. It will be about 2 weeks before DS2's new house is connected to the outside world. It was very strange not having those facilities. I don't mind on holiday or in the caravan, but especially with GD1 being poorly I would have found it useful to put on her favourite tv programmes.

Today OH and I are going to do a post-move clean up on DS2's old house. The move happened so quickly it was just a case of 'get going'. It's easier to clean when it's empty anyway.

Clover - I do hope your blood test and x-ray go well, and so glad you enjoyed seeing the family at the week-end.

Mimi - I hope you come home with a fantastic phone for next to nothing.

Oma - a lovely surprise visit, but my heart would have been in my mouth too!

Mimi - I haven't even planted tomato seeds yet - it's been so cold and damp in the greenhouse, although I keep it frost-free. I hope yours do well.

Plant - how are your eyes this morning? Is Milo settling down? I bet he's charming everyone. I bet there's lots of excitement in the Plant family with the wedding so close.

Wee Granny - how is the new kitchen doing?

Gem - loved the photos of your Build a Bear outing. OH will be getting really fed up about all the golf cancellations.

      Good morning everyone.
Next door have circular raised flower bed, I am expecting a family of ducks to take residence soon. It looks more and more like a pond each day
I think we really are all fed up with it now Nan2.
Mimi, you are right it made me feel very happy when GS said that, also during the morning he said I love you Grandma
I hope all goes smoothly Clover, I'm sure they are just being ultra cautious.

A day of returning things for us. TV (mum's) to John Lewis, printer cartridges to Tesco (we bought their own and they don't seem to work properly.
We have a free day, so not sure what else we will do.

      Have a good day everyone.

Very dull here although not actually raining at the moment. I have several plants lined up for planting, not sure when that will happen. I am trying to change the plants in the only flower beds I can see from my window. It is a mixture of plants and several perennials that need cutting down every year. I have bought a Rhododendron and a Piris (sp) and I am changing another bed and apart from bulbs it will have Hydrangeas. trying to make less work for myself. Now need to find someone to help me. The only gardener in the family is my eldest GS (the groom). I bumped into him in the car park near his home yesterday and he wanted to know what plants I had got in the car. Oh and I need a strong person to lift a bag of compost from the back of my car. I went to the local chemist and he sold me some eye drops, only used twice but they do feel less sore but still watery. GD went to a chemist yesterday and bought a pair of glasses, until hers are mended, for £5! Graze on forehead still looks sore, she and her sister are having a fake tan tomorrow, they will have to cover up the damaged skin.

What a lovely day you had with your GS Gemini and his lovely endearment. Not sure what his animal was but he obviously loved it.

Daisy how kind of you and your OH to go and clean your DS and Dil's house ready for the next occupants.

Good morning ladies a little positive news SIL actually spoke to T this morning and she made sense.Aware she has been out of it for 2 days .Sodium down to 170 from 179. To answer someone's query about why they can't fix her sodium levels is because it's such a rare condition. No magic wand unfortunately , specialist visiting today to put together a going forward in her care plan. Her catscan showed he has they think a scoliosis in her neck and spine .Further tests for that, that would explain the terrible back pain she had for a long time. Her illness is very much a trial and error thing. But for today she is awake and talking thank God.

And it’s raining again!! Why am I so surprised. We shall need an ark soon.

Popped out quickly to the supermarket for a few bits and pieces, then I am out this afternoon with my friend to a new TG meeting, Quite a few of our ladies are going so it should be ok. They also meet on an afternoon which is good p, saves going out in the dark in the winter.

Clover, hope your blood test and x-ray go well. You’ve all been very busy over Easter with GC etc, hope all are recovered.

Tomorrow P has his appointment with the vascular surgeon about his claudication, it strangely since he’s been home from hospital it seems to be better. He can walk much further than me now with. O pain, so we shall see what they have to say about it,

Have a a good day everyone and I hope you all stay dry ☔️

Edited: crossed posts with you LG, glad it sounds a bit more positive.

Neither can I Gemini but saw the pics on FB. GD1 has just been in, she is poorly, 3 days before the wedding and she is poorly, has a temp. We are all trying to keep away, don't want anyone else to catch it. Her face is healing quite well.

Qwerty Milo is a male kitten, we are having to get a friend to look after him whilst we are at the wedding overnight.

                        Rain, rain go away,
                        Don’t come back again today.
Don’t come back for a week or three,
Or even a month, wouldn’t bother me.
                        We need some sun,
                        Some warmth, you know,
Not threats of gales and sleet and snow.

Feel free to continue, my brain hurts.

I have had a very pleasant morning at a freehand machine embroidery class. Some people are so clever. My efforts looked like my GC had done them! I shall practise as it is a great thing to do.
                        Time for a cuppa everyone.

Qwerty, damned British weather! If I had more money and not so many people depending on me each week, I would be somewhere warmer and drier for few days right now!!
Nan2, lovely to have things booked I paid the balance on our holiday at the weekend.
Plant and Qwerty, I have my photos set so only my Subscribers can see them. I think you are both subscribed to me though!!
I hope your GD is well again by the weekend Plant.

We returned the TV we got for mum, exchanged Tesco printer cartridges for Canon ones, and had lunch at a farm shop, and browsed the little antique/curio shop there. I always buy something, today was a small green vase.

Some warmth to help the flowers grow.
Some heat to dry the wet, wet ground.......
