Nor do we, never have. However I will be chucking out hints left right and centre for a beautiful Easter egg, fine chocolate with icing flowers on...I always had one as a child. Not had an Easter egg of any kind for over 50 years. I may have to buy my own though, but have one I will. 😉

Valentine’s day hasn’t arrived in our house as we have been discussing for the last 10 minuets the best patio cleaner to buy ! Who says romance is dead ?
Good moaning each! A pleasant morning here in Essex. I’m sitting here wondering why the birds are ignoring my freshly cleaned and refilled feeding station. I moved it a bit nearer the bushes and the only visitor I’ve seen is a squirrel! Even the pigeons aren’t interested. Anyhoo, the sun is trying hard and I intend to play in my shed, seed sorting etc.
Have a good day one and all.

A rare free day for us both. We are still in bed. Don't runaway with the idea of anything romantic going on. I am on here, OH is checking You Tube videos on putting up a mirror, as she is helping a friend on Monday .
Frosty here too Nan2.
At least you are talking Mimi!
I hope the birds turn up eventually Grauntie.
I hope OH comes home soon Oma.
Have a good day everybody. Stay warm, well and happy

I got up to make the tea and when I went back upstairs there was a huge Valentine's card on my pillow. 'He' says it's from Eva. She says nothing. But I didn't get a card for either of them!!! No flowers though! I'll have to stick some petals back on the alstroemerias I was going to throw out today.
I've got a bit of pottering round to do - mainly with the sucky up thingy. Cooper had great fun yesterday sneaking lumps of moss into the house everytime he went into the garden, and gently removing the toilet roll from the cloakroom before settling down for a good chew of it on the hearth rug! Then we've got some friends calling round for a cuppa and a chat this afternoon.
Mimi - I can see romance is alive and thriving in the Mimi household.
Oma and Enfys - I hope both your OHs have had a good night.
GM - I woke up thinking about seeds and getting ready for sowing them! I love this part of the growing cycle. It's all to play for, no drooping, wilting failures to point the finger at my lack of care and incompetence!

My OH was the most unromantic person, we never did Valentines. He would be getting ready for the new season, buying and sowing his vegetables. He would have loved these frosty mornings, it would be breaking up the soil that he would have dug in the Autumn. Free day for me I have letters to post and go in search of more snap containers to store my soup in for the freezer. I keep finding new recipes and want to try them.
Hope B will be home soon Oma
Have a lovely play in your shed Grauntie, hope we can find each other to play scrabble soon.
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare
We have to find each other on Facebook, I have given Grauntie my name on Facebook so hope we can go from there, I think she is too busy sorting out her seeds in the shed.
