MIL not too bad today. I rang the surgery earlier just for some advice.
Asked if there was any stonger painkillers she could take, that wouldn't interfere
with her warfarin and the other cocktail of tablets she takes.
Receptionist said she would get the doctor to visit.
he said she could carry on taking the paracetomal, she can take 8 in 24 hours.
I think they are taking the edge off the pain now.
Thank you for the kind comments, saying you didn't think i was being selfish.

Evening all, busy day with the twins just a shock after 3 wks of no childcare, we watched for the umpteenth time Snowman and Snow Dog xmas will never die here

Qwerty - are you clairvoyant???? Today has been non-stop deamnds for attention - puppy/GD2/puppy/GD2/puppy/GD2 until my head was spinning. Quick dash home, cooked salmon with lentils and salad, gobbled it up, rushed out to dog training and Eva was worse than GD2 and puppy put together!! I am officially k******ed and off to bed. Sleep well everyone, and just mind none of you fall out of bed..

Today OH treated me to lunch. We went to YWP just down the road. I go there quite often but it's the first time we've actually gone together as we normally have GC. Amazing how much more I was able to watch the animals & had time to ask questions to the Rangers. Dull, dark, drizzly day but we really enjoyed it.

Hospital app't later on to see Orthotics bloke re my knee. Kn****rs yard for me.

Busy day for eeryone yesterday, especially Qwerty, being back on childminding duties.

Hopefully we are going to see friends today, remember the one who breast cancer.
Will have to see how things are at in laws,before we can make any definite plans.

I fell asleep watching telly just after 9 last night B woke me at 11 said couldn't stand the snoring anymore I went up to bed and was out cold in minutes slept till 7 this morning I was so tired ,

Good morning everyone. I've no idea what the weather was first thing, as I've only just woken up, but it' quite sunny and not too cold now.

I'm still tired after yesterday though, so not making any plans for today, if I can help it!

Morning ladies.

Everyone is so busy as usual.

I had a non stop day yesterday. In the morning I was at work then home for a quick lunch before going to the hospital for my check-up. The delay for my consultant went from 45 minutes to 75 minutes. I nearly lost the will to live. Finally I asked a nurse how much longer and she said I was next.Coincidence I wonder ? Anyway I was in for less than ten minutes. A bit of a blip in my blood results but doctor didn’t seem too concerned, well he wouldn’t would he ,no use panicking me before he has too! I’m to carry on as usual but must go back in 3 months which is a little concerning as past appointments have never been less than four monthly before.

After this we made our way home in pouring rain for another quick meal before venturing out again in the rain to go to Pilates. She was fairly gentle with us after the Christmas break but she was concentrating on stretching which sounds reasonable but can be quite a workout.
