Aqua day for me, then I am going to another Sports Centre to meet up with some friends who I and my friend who died used to meet up with for a swim and a coffee.

How nice for your Nephew to tell his auntie first about his new home Oma

Keeping busy and days out Enfys is good and productive.

Oma, not sure why your wardrobes need changing. Sounds like a lot of work.

Daisy, there is a lot of black clothing about, not really suitable for a wedding. My DD, her DIL is very kind and helpful to her, she has 6 children, 3 of each. One DD is very hippy, one is very bossy and the other is very sweet but doesn't live close so she relies on my DD and my SIL quite a lot because they are patient with her.

      Good morning everyone.
A day of catching up with the washing and chores for me.We might go for a walk in the woods and gather some fallen leaves to use for leaf mould for the garden. I’m not sure if it's actually legal to take them but I don’t think anyone could really object to me taking a black sackful
I hope you all have a good day.

Good misty morning to everyone. Enfys - it promises to be lovely later, so enjoy your lunch out and your walk. I agree keeping busy and as normal as you can is good.

Oma - just what I needed, that coffee is. I woke up quite late - catching up on the last few busy days I think. But apart from an aching back I do feel better for the good long sleep.

Gem - it ws a nightmare when Virgin cabled my DS2'ss whole estate a few months ago, and they don't put the surfaces back very well, so it all looks a mess. I would have been less fed up if they'd been doing our road - we're still only getting speeds of less than 1 mbps!!

Plant - I can never understand why the fashion industry thinks we want to bury ourselves in black, beige or sludge colour in winter! It's all so dreary. Poor lady - a nice cheerful outfit would be lovely. Is there time for her to get something made? If she can't find anything warm enough what about a nice stylish but cosy shawl to go over a thinner coat? Enjoy Aqua with your friends - I'm glad you've got back into going. x

I've got no plans for today - a bit of a rarity for me! We'll take Eva out later when the mist had lifted, but that's all. OH has promised to make some candlesticks for someone, so I expect he will be in his man cave most of the day!

Nana - I sometimes have trouble keeping up with all our chat, especially when our connection is slow and I can't move from one page to another - I have to go back to the front page and reload it and it takes ages. Not GRU's fault, just our rubbish internet!

Whatever you're doing ladies - have a good day.

Good morning all, I haven't been outside yet but judging by the children going to school with hats and gloves on it must be a tad chilly .

Oma what are you doing to your wardrobe, is it the clothes inside or the actual piece of furniture ?

I have got my online grocery order coming this morning, a day earlier than usual as I have an appointment at the dr tomorrow, these appointments are rarer than hen's teeth !

Hope everyone is well , Enfys did you and your OH sleep ok last night ?
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

I know what you mean about doctors appointments Mimi.
Qwerty, I bet you look all glamorous now
                  That sounds useful Nana.
Daisy, I couldn't get onto my drive this morning. It was hard to find anywhere on the street to park either, with all the upheaval, I found somewhere, then OH went and asked then to move the van blocking our drive and brought my car in. I have to get out again later however, and the van is back They are only doing their job, but it is disruptive to daily life!

I felt like a businesswoman this morning in Costa, with the councillor, both with out laptops I now have all the official stuff on my laptop.

Nana - I missed that - but I'll catch up later. What I really need for Eva is a magic wand - with a cosh on the end to knock her out (nicely!) for the evening.

Qwerty - you always feel better after a trip to the hairdressers, don't you! Well, I do anyway.

Oma - I think you feel more like doing decorating etc in the spring. At this time of year I just want to curl up by the fire with a good book.

Gem - that's so frustrating. When they were doing round DS2's one night I couldn't get my car out of the road - there was a great big hole acrosss it. They seemed to think nobody would need to use the road, and it took them ages to find something to cover it! I hope you were wearing your business suit for your meeting!

Yay! the sun's come out. We're off to take Eva out for walkies.

Got in about 3pm. Called into Tesco cafe for something to eat on our way back from the airport.

Hopefully catch up with everyone and everything tomorrow.

Oma I wish my wardrobes were built-in they are freestanding and when I want the room decorated I have to pay the company (can't remember their name) to move them and I have the bother of having to empty them as well. I am going to wait until the Spring. Might consider having built in ones, dust collects behind, top and sides of freestanding wardrobes.

Mmmm Plant you have me thinking now , I'm not keen on the dust aspect ,
I may rethink it and maybe just get new doors for them , at least with built ins you don't have to move them.
Thank you for reminding me of the problems of free standing wardrobes
