I hope you feel better soon WG!
My OH should be playing in a golf competition today, but they have had to postpone it. One of her golf partners, who is also a friend isn't well. She had had the room spinning things like you describe, and has spent time in bed.. I think there must be some sort of virus going around.
Good luck present shopping Daisy and Plant.

Lovely and sunny here but very cold. Went to my art group this morning - lots of chat but not much art done 🙂. They are such a nice group of ladies and I was chatting to one of,them who,had the same thing we think DH has got this time last year. She had her op in December and it was so helpful to talk to her.

Hope You have stopped spinning now WG.

Enfys, it always helps to talk to someone else who has been through the same thing whatever it is. Your art group sounds lovely.

Oma , my next job is Halloween decs, then off to mums. I have been to the library, and done some garden tidying and bulbs-in- pots planting

Well he’s come back from the opticians and chosen a smaller frame and having a bigger reader bit, he’s had varifocals for years Oma never had a problem apart from the initial first few days but these he had no reading bit and had to move his head to such an extent that he went cross eyed lol shouldn’t laugh I know but he looked so funny bless him , watch this space

I didn't buy any Christmas presents, helped GD to find hers for the family, I think she managed to get them all, so a very successful day for her, found time also to get her car cleaned.

No more spinning today thank goodness and the yoga teacher isn't well, so class cancelled for tonight! Went into JL to order curtains and town was absolutely heaving, on a Monday lunchtime! Mind you the powers that be have closed the lower levels of the largest car park, so you can imagine how easily the traffic builds up. Went on to art class and made a start on Ch******s card, need to be organised this year, so have to get them printed earlier than I usually do. Getting very cold now.

Wee Granny the 'like' was because all is now well in your world after a horrible day yesterday. Yum, yum, roast pork - I bet that was delicious. I'm so glad the world has stood still for you today.

Plant - Wow a GS of 30, no wonder you can't believe it. Time does fly by doesn't it.

Enfys - I'm glad you found someone to share experiences with at your Art group - I'm sure it helps. It sounds like a lovely group. It has been a gorgeous day and actually fairly warm in the sun. I got talking to the lady selling Poppies in town and she had expected it to be really cold, and in fact she was too hot. I offered to go and get her a cold drink, but she said she'd be ok.

Plant - sorry you didn't get any presents. I found a couple of books I think our friend will like, plus a bottle of wine to enjoy with them - or to drown his sorrows if he doesn't enjoy the books! It's always difficult choosing books for someone else, isn't it. I was surprised to see that the shops seem to be full of things for that event in December! OH has got both our cars cleaned over the last few days - they were covered in gritty sand from the Sarah dust clouds we had.

Qwerty - your poor OH must be really fed up with his specs. I hope he didn't hurt himself and the new frames sort the problem out.

An early start for me tomorrow - have to leave home about 7.40, and looking at the weather I've got a can of de-icer at the ready! It's getting very cold. It was a bit depressing coming home from GD2's tonight in the dark. It's a horrible drive across the Forest at night because it's hard to see the ponies and other animals on the road and oncoming car lights make it worse! I'm not a nervous driver, but I really don't look forward to 5 months of dark evenings. In another month or so it will be dark in the mornings as well.

Take care in the morning Daisy. I really don’t like driving in the dark now, especially anywhere that is unlit.

i don’t like the dark evenings now, makes the day seem so short.

Enfys - you know what the Forest is like, and if there's no traffic it's ok but it seems to be getting busier and busier every month.

Good to hear the spinning stopped WG.

I wonder how Aggie is getting on?

I hope all those on holiday are having a lovely time.

GS1 from school today, then back here for his tea, and to wait for Trick or Treaters.
I'm glad we got a little gardening done yesterday, both here and at my mums . Too wet and dismal today!

                                Lovely sunny morning here.

Feeling very nervous. We were told we could either go in to the hospital for the results or have a phone call. DH opted for the phone call, it is only the results but they will give us all,the details and an appointment to see the consultant. He said he’d rather be at home. It will be this afternoon before we hear as they have their meeting to discuss patients’ results this morning. Will be glad when today is over 🤞
