Zizi, we don't get the bus pass when we get our pensions????!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

It is £8 for both of us to go to town and back, but parking can cost as much. I would really appreciate a bus pass.

Baby GS not coming today. He was sick all over the car halfway here, so DD is taking him back home. Hopefully it won't be a nasty bug. The house looks like nursery, with his toys and books out and high chair standing ready. Best put everything away!
I will be able to finish the minutes this morning now at least.

Must be the day Gem My Brother rang they wont be coming ,Brother is loaded with cold.
Said he woke during night with a really painful throat and by this morning he was sneezing for England .

Poor Baby hope its not this bug going around , its bad enough for adults but when little ones get it its awful .poor lamb .

Plant its a special test so its the Labs that have lost them , its to check his Bone Marrow and immune system , we know his Bone marrow is 100% Martins but his immune system still had his and they were hoping the Graft V Host he had a few month ago have boosted it so he doesn't have to have any more top ups ,

Hes really well at the minute so we not too concerned

Baby GS is sitting in his pj's watching Peppa Pig surrounded by towels! Poor DD was about to clean the inside of the car. Not a nice job.

OH and I are going out as we have an unexpected free day. We are looking for a carpet, and we need to shop for the meal we are cooking for friends tomorrow night. We will have lunch out as well

On our way to the Scottish coastine for our wks break. The satnav has sent us off the A1 & we're now on the outskirts of Newcastle stuck in traffic. There's a 3ml tailback on motorway. Anyone got a coin to toss? Ha! Ooops. Now it's sending us back to join the motorway. Magic Roundabout comes to mind.😂

                      Hi folk
Nana you must be very close to where Oma lives you could have called in and had a cuppa till the traffic died down, sat navs can be a nightmare we once went to Robin Hoods Bay it took us off the main road ended up going through a wood, which became a single track eventually needless to say we didn’t come back that way , have a lovely holiday, don’t know what you have planned but Bamburgh Castle and the Rosslyn chapel are well worth a visit .

Gem if you remeber our little J had a similiar thing a couple of weeks ago, hopefully it will go as quick as it came, and it did come quick , whiffs in cars take some getting rid of, poor Dd

OH got a letter asking if he still wanted an appointment they cancelled his last one back in August, he doesn’t know if he needs one as the 2nd CT report has t been done that was 3wks ago come Sunday , so how the heck does he know if he needs it, there will be more urgent cases than his but we don’t know what is happening spoke to doctors receptionist she is chasing scan up but we are away anyway now for 10 dys we hoped it would have been sorted one way or another, now it’s just hanging over his head whilst away, won’t help his demeanour at the moment .

Apart from that it’s been a quiet day yet again lol , just enough shopping to take us over the w/e, OH cleaned the oven it’s shining like a new pin now 👏🏻

Oma, nice to know Libra is looking in! I wasn't sure if she had seen the birthday greetings left for her.

Good old OH cleaning the oven Qwerty

Yes Nana, you were very close to Oma's!

Well, we have come back with 2 books of carpet samples, and some of my mums Christmas presents (on her behalf, not for her!)
I also bought a lovely framed painting of kittens for £5 in Aggy's Attic, part of the farm shop where we had lunch. A few weeks ago I bought some lovely dinner plates from there, also a bargain.

Qwerty, hope your holiday perks hubby up a bit. I cleaned the oven as well this morning.
Gem, hope the little one is feeling better.

Nana - poor you stuck in all that traffic and then the sat nav playing silly b*****s! On the weather forecast it looked quite cold in Scotland - I hope you don't get snowed in or anything awful - wrap up warm.

Qwerty - I hope your OH's appointments can get sorted out - it would be nice to at least know what's in the pipeline. I'm sure you're both looking forward to your holiday.

Wow - all these clean ovens! Mine hides it head in shame.

Gem - poor little GS2. I hope it's not Norovirus! My DS1 and family have all had it. GS1 came home from school with it last Friday and shared it with his brother and parents. DIL was so poorly the doctor came out to give her an injection. In addition, DS1 hurt his back, and DIL broke a toe! I really wouldn't wish it on anybody and it's so infectious. Hopefully your GS will be feeling better by tomorrow, poor little man. It sounds as though you've made good use of the unexpected free day, though.

I seem to have wasted a lot to time today and not got much done, but I did sweep the path down the side of the house - it was covered in sawdust (from OH's log splitting yesterday) fallen leaves and general bits of rubbish that seem to stick to the concrete. It took ages and I ended up with a black bag nearly full of rubbish! I ran the sucky up thing round the kitchen and hall as they were also covered in sawdust, leaves and clumps of mud! We blame the dog, of course!!!
