My goodness me Oma, what's wrong with kitchen roll. I only use napkins when I have visitors.

It will feel a bit strange for you Qwerty, you have been so busy with the babies and GD, you will find a new routine.

Sun just out here now, will go to the sunroom with paper me thinks. I felt a bit fed up with myself so after the Post Office I went to a very nice Cafe and had a smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel and then did an Oma, wandered around B&Q for some gardening gloves for SIL as I had thrown his away by mistake, thought they were my OH's old ones. Didn't feel like going home so called in to Dunelm and bought Brabantia bin bags and two garden troughs to grow herbs in as I had had my herb garden dug up, it was so overgrown and had paving put down, making it safer for me.

I've got a thing about posh folk at the moment and I think Oma is a bit posher than you Plant using serviettes lol
I think it's strange because it's not just one baby but 2 so much more hard work and noise etc, not that it's easy with one ! I'll get used to it ☺️ not often I could post on here on a Tuesday now I have to sit on my hands I could become boring

Qwerty I'll send you GS2 if you get bored! There may be only one of him but he is 17 months, a livewire and noisy! He was grizzly and noisy all the way to and from school, that's over an hour of driving with that noise!! To be fair it is a long time to expect him to sit in the car at this age, but I have no option!

Getting out is sometimes the best way when you feel a bit fed up Plant. I do the same, and feel better for it.
We usually use kitchen roll at home, but I think it's nice that Oma uses napkins

I'm not posh just like my paper napkins , ill tell you a secret I use them as plates too if we only having a sandwich and I don't want to wash up , The used ones go in the recycle as long as they not covered in food so they are recycled again

Had a lovely visit from friends today.Tea,coffee and cake were served in copious amounts.

Will look forward to that cuddle Qwerty. The house just seemed very empty, all back at work, not that I necessarily see them when they are home and I am still missing my lovely friend who died a year ago, we did so much together, not always planned. She used to drag me around supermarkets that I never used, she was always after bargains even if she didn't need them. I have a lot of friends but she was special.

Dry start to the day.
2 meat and potato pies to do today. Hubby asked for one.Made the filling yesterday in the slow cooker.
Just got to miz a bit of pastry. One pie for today,the other for the freezer.

Good moaning! I have never made a meat pie, let alone a meat and tattie one. My pastry is like cardboard and I can even spoil the ready made stuff. 🙄Lovely morning here, washing in already and now time for a cuppa.

Plant, special friends leave a gap which is hard to fill xx

I keep intending to make a pie Nan2, but never get there!

Today was to be a 'me' day, most welcome after all GC over 2 days, and OH out at golf both days so doing it on my own,
However, DD2 needs unexpected help this afternoon , so OH and I will go over and look after baby and GD for a couple of hours after school.
This morning I am having reflexology, and we are seeing friends at their house this evening, so most of the day is relaxing!
