No plans here. I have some domestic chores to do, a bit of garden tidying and my mum to visit, and I think we may go out for tea. We have eaten out twice since OH had the arm cast on. I have to cut up meat for her, and had to cut the Yorkshire pudding when we had Sunday lunch out. Apart from that she manages one handed.

Enfys we heard fireworks last night. There is no need in October!

Lazy day for us, all GC are away. Woken at 6am by council workers in the road using mechanical machinery. Don't know what that was about. Going to have a bubbly bath in a minute. Husband has a heavy cold and sore throat.

I do Sainsbury on line and have done since an argument with Tesco customer service in January. I do pop into the local Tesco every now and then but the on line suits me better to be honest.

Hi all a very chilly day today, I still have the lurgy going on a week now.We had family get together last night for M's 9th birthday. TGI fridays boy do I not like that place, so noisy and slow service.But hey ho M's choice of venue. I was supposed to be working today but felt unwell so I notified them yesterday I wouldn't be in. Not something I ever do but thought it's time I took care of me. Hoping tomorrow to feel well enough togo across to eldest DD's to be with eldest 2 while DD works, at 13 and 11 they more or less look after themselves so no hardship.

We also have fireworks going on which is pretty stupid as it is still light outside so not only stupid but also wasting money! I think it is coming up to Diwali which usually comes around Guy Fawkes night and goes on for flipping ever! I used to make my old boy Georgie a nest under my bed and put the duvet hanging down by the window side of the bed and second one on top to shield him from the lights and the bangs. To be honest toward the end he was mostly deaf and his eyesight was pretty rubbish but he knew as soon as I started making the bed that it was for him. I still miss him.
