Not doing much here today, still catching up with the washing off my 2 DD's from their holiday, could get them to do it, but cant stand the mess they make would take longer to clear up after them.....

A day of appointments for me, not mine however!
Dentist this morning with my OH (who can't drive atm) and Drs this afternoon with my mum, for her diabetic and medication reviews.

It's been a busy few days here. OH brother funeral is on Wednesday 4th November and surprisingly OH seems to be taking it well at the moment. I am hoping for a more peaceful day tomorrow. Some hope !

We have just come in from a walk, it's definitely colder out there today. It's overcast and dull , it put me in mind of comfort food like soup and jacket potatoes.

Mimi - it's not too bad here today. OH and a friend have been relaying some loose slabs on the patio and I made leek and potato soup for lunch thinking they might be cold!! They still devoured the soup.

Did anyone watch My Son the Jihadi on Channel 4 yesterday evening. A very brave lady had to face the fact that her son was killing people, he eventually was killed in an attack they walked into. Of course he was her son but it was a relief that he could not kill anyone else. As some of you know I live near to High Wycombe where this normal young man lived until he was brainwashed. Part of the programme was filmed in the woods at the back of us.

No I didn't see that Plant. I fell asleep on the sofa for a while and then I cannot remember what I saw!

Met with Sum1 for lunch today in town. We met at a Gordon Ramsey restaurant. All I can say is, and I am sure Sum1 will agree, if Gordon Ramsey was aware of what is being put on the table in his name he would not be pleased. It was very cold in town today but at least it was dry.

Tomorrow I need to get some diesel and some vegetables. I am not going to the butcher as I have enough meat frozen. I also need to go and get all the little bits for holiday as I need to see Joe and Sadie next weekend or we won't see them until we get back from hols.

Busy day for me today. We had GS all day which was planned. However DD had to go for an early hospital appointment so dropped GS with her sister as my GD had a teacher training day. We picked GS up from there and brought him back here as usual.
I have written about DDs appointment in YEO.

Tonight I am cooking Daisies Anglesey Eggs for tea!
