Don't like breakfast in bed. Need to get up, have two coffees while checking fb and Gransrus, news, mail etc, then eventually after about an hour, my marmalade on toast.... This only recently as when I was working I hardly had the time to drink a quick cuppa.....

Well, if we knew where you lived Nana ........

I have work this afternoon. This is the only client that I go out to now, the rest come here. He is my ex next door neighbour, who has been a regular client for many years. He doesn't drive so would have to come by bus. It's not his fault I moved, so I will continue to go to him as long as he wants me to and I am able. I no longer offer a mobile service generally, as carrying my couch is doing my back no good.

i have just spent the last 5 minutes looking for my dressing gown. I looked in the usual place where I keep it, I searched the airing cupboard, I even looked in the spare room and it wasn't until I caught a glance of me passing the mirror in bedroom that it dawned on me. I was wearing the stupid thing. I had a shower earlier this evening and I put my nightwear on . This blonde hair dye is starting to effect my brain.

I'm a bit like that with my glasses Mimi, perch them on top of my head, then start looking all over the house for them, when I need them.

Wishing you all a good day.

Morning, I am just back from dropping husband at work. It is the last day of the training course he has been running and always makes a big chocolate cake covered in strawberries or raspberries. This is a big cake as there are 23 people so I said I would take him rather than him struggle on the bus. I have a meeting in Stratford re Time to Shine and then back to Clapham Junction for my final meeting with my secondment co-ordinator. nO idea what time I will be home but I am worn out already.......

What a good wife Zizi, we wouldnt like to think of that lovely cake being damaged en route though

GD day today. As it is half term I have her all day, and no drive to school to collect her. She stayed at her other grandparents last night, so they will drop her off, and hopefully stay for coffee.
Not sure what we will do today. Sometimes she just likes to stay here, so we shall play it by ear.
OH back to hospital, hopefully cast will be changed for something smaller!

Good morning everyone. Well, the sun is shining here, and DIL1 and GSs are due to arrive about lunchtime, so time for a trip to the supermarket this morning and stock the fridge up. I love how the boys head straight for the fridge and snacks cupboard - takes me back to DSs being that age (12 and nearly 11). If it stays nice we might go out somewhere this afternoon, otherwise I think we'll all be on pumpkin making duties. I must admit I love the boys being the age they are!

Zizi - if there's any of that yummy cake left ...

It's a pea souper hear can hardly see 100 yards in front of you , went to pick up some parcels at post office and do some shopping , coming down the slip road from our highway and coming towards us was a woman in her car coming up the wrong way , Brian blasted his horn to warn her and she still tried to squeeze past us so he got out and stood in front of her car , she got out and started shouting at him before he could say anything so he waited till she shut up then pointed to the big Red no entry sign and told her she was going the wrong way ,she got back into her car without a thank you and tried to reverse back down the slip road , she couldn't do it so we had to stop the other cars behind us so Brian could move forward enough for her to do a 3 point turn , then she just drove off . Dread to think what accident could have happened if she had managed to get up onto the highway and in this fog , it's a very busy fast road too, A head on crash would have happened , she was a lady in her 60 so should have known better , Brian is convinced she was talking to someone her phone was on the passenger seat and he thinks she didn't have her mind on the road silly woman

Good lord Oma!! On one of my driving lessons we encountered a driver slowly reversing up the slip road leading to the busy dual carriageway ! My instructor was speechless!

Raining and grey here, we have the lamps on. Luckily GD opted for a day in
