Had GS and Dog today , teacher training day at GS school why when they have a week off next week they had to take another day is a puzzle? anyway they arrived at 8.30 fed them both and then got Josh into shower but then he decided he wasnt getting dressed at all today so stayed stark naked with just his dressing gown on till Daddy picked them up at 4.30 , Both as good as gold , Josh watched a video ,Drew and coloured in for half the day and Storm ran around the garden tossing the piles of leaves around then eating them , after lunch Storm slept for more than 2 hours and me and Josh got all the photo albums out and had a laugh over some of them , Granddad snoozed on the sofa with the dog hard to tell who snored the most , so quite a nice day for us

Gem - Oh dear, what a responsibility! I hope you enjoyed your Anglesey Eggs. All your organising for today worked well.
Oma - that sounds like the perfectly relaxed and easy day you all needed, apart from Storm, of course.

Goodo morning from me, as well!
Welcome back, Nanto - I look forward to hearing all about your trip.
Mimi - depressing thought - dark evenings for months and months! I wish they could at least have left it until after half-term!!!

I live just over the road from our shopping centre Skye we have Sainsbury ,Asda,Aldi, M&S , and every other shop we need I can walk it in less than 5 minutes then if I need too I can get a taxi for a couple of pounds back home ,so it's not worth doing online unless we were both unable to go , but to be honest I like to walk around the shops and choose what I want ☺Im not fat just 6ft too small

Oma - I have a wonderful image of you licking the kitchen floor! Just wait till he starts moulting - you'll be able to spin and knit the hair up into a jumper! I have to admit, dog hairs everywhere is something I don't miss - Yorkies don't shed, but i really notice it when our DS2's dog has been here! Nose and lick marks on the windows/doors go with the territory!
Mimi - I hope the sounds of the 60s are cheering you up - it was always sunny in the 60s, wasn't it!

Well ladies, we enjoyed Barcelona, it's a lovely place. Highlight for me was seeing Sagrada Familia. We went on the metro, and as we climbed up the steps on our way out and turned round, there it was. Very interesting to learn more about Gaudi. The colours in the stained glass windows were absolutely beautiful.
Park Guell was a big disappointment for both of us. I expected to see more, maybe we hard to please, I don't know. I wouldn't tell anyone not to bother visiting it, as I think everyone sees things differently, so better to see it for themselves, and form their own opinion.
Didn't go the Magic fountain, as it's only on at weekends at this time of year.
Weather was very good, sunshine, not a cloud in the sky. Temperatures were were about 20c.
Enough from me, need to go and catch up with you all now.Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

We are back after a very nice couple of days away in Somerset. Weather was good, sunny and not cold which was a bonus. We saw some lovely NT properties including Barrington Court where lots of scenes from Wolfe Hall were shot. There was also an exhibition of some of the costumes, very interesting. So a nice little break for us both
Nanto's I really like Barcelona too. The Sagrida Familia is fantastic, such wonderful architecture....and a long way from being finished! Did you see the Gaudi designed houses on las Ramblas?
