Been pottering,surprising how the time runs away.

Not doing a roast dinner today.
Having chicken in breadcrumbs,mashed potatoes,not decided what veg yet. Oh and chicken gravy.

Nanto, what a pretty graphic to greet a wet and gloomy day. We've just had hail!

Gem, enjoy your day. It sounds as though there is a feast of good things in store for you all.

We're going to DS1 and DIL's today. We should have gone on Monday, but DIL wasn't very well, so we put it off until today. I've just made some flapjack to take - it's something everyone likes and doesn't last long!

I'll catch up when I get a few minutes, but I hope all the poorly people are feeling better.

B still unwell he can’t be bothered with anything ,
Ive done my housework washed the floors and put the towels in the wash ,
Karchered the bathroom tiles after our showers , I do that after every shower but for some reason this morning they seemed wetter than usual ,
Having 5 minutes before I hoover

Oma, poor Brian, whatever he has had has really left him washed out and tired, I hope he will feel stronger soon. Do you think he should consult the doctor.

I must say that I feel the same, just can’t be bothered and am not pushing myself, things can wait. I finish my antibiotic today.

Nanto, you are lucky that you and your OH enjoy going into town, my OH hated shopping apart from garden centres.

Oma, how did your GS2 get a split ear kick boxing, I thought they wore headgear.

It was just sparing And practice , wasn’t supposed to be contact but somehow he ended up on the floor and when he got up they noticed the blood and his ear , a freak accident and neither him or his sparing partner remember any contact at all .

B is just washed out too Plant he said he feels really tired and just can’t seem to get any motivation to do anything .
We did a few COVID tests just incase .

Oh poor B Oma .I think having a cold so soon after the last one has really laid him low. Does he take any supplements? We could all do with them in winter, especially if we haven't been too well.

You are wise to take it easy Plant, until you feel stronger.

We had a lovely time. The baby is a delight and adored by all!
We have started to take about maybe a villa holiday somewhere warm for all of us this summer. I didn't think that would be on the cards so I am very happy

Not been too bad a day. Bro in law called after he had finished work.
His partner is working until 8 tonight. So we invited him to stay for dinner.
10 minutes later DS1 called in,so we invited him to stay.
Only problem was,there was too much man talk around the kitchen table.

Good morning, I wasn't posting yesterday, felt sick all day, why I do not know, I feel fine this morning. It is a lovely photo Gem.

I got a mail yesterday telling me I can get forms etc etc filled in for my driving license, I will be 75 in May and we need a medical etc, so, I shall have to make a start as they tell me it takes 4 months!

I am going to the pool in the car, the friend came on Saturday to ask if I would go in the car as the battery isn't working on her E bike, she hopes it is guaranteed but it is almost 3 years old now and I read they are guaranteed for 2 years, she was going to phone about it this morning.

Lizzie, sorry to hear your didn't feel well yesterday and I'm glad you feel better now!

Nan2 they are friendly in our post office too.
What I complain about is too much golf talk! Fortunately most of our mutual friends dont play golf, but when any that do get together with us, golf is inevitably discussed.

Today I am going over to DD3's for a while. Just to keep and eye on the baby while she does a couple of jobs and pops out to do something quick.
OH's turn to cook so I don't know what it will be tonight.
