Evening all. Ooo, sounds like Dixon of Dock Green.
Don't know if any of you can remember that programme.

Looks like our new neighbours have arrived. We haven't seen any removal vans.
It was only about ½ an hour ago, i noticed lights on in the house.There is a small van parked on the drive.

Still haven't got my ironing done.DS1 popped in for an hour. Then i made a lemon drizzle cake.
It will definately be done tomorrow.

Lizzie,sorry you got caught in the rain.We had a couple of light showers today.

Oma, I do hop that your MIL would appreciate it if she knew you had to go out in the freezing cold to get carrots for her hot pot.

Lizzie, wet jeans are no fun at all. It's definitely a day for using the car! 16 weeks isn't long for maternity leave, is it.

Nanto, yes I remember Dixon of Dock Green. I think it was on a Saturday evening, because I can remember seeing it at my friend's sometimes. Much nicer to see your DS1 than get the ironing done. I hope your new neighbours are friendly.

We had rain this afternoon. Then it stopped so I decided to take Eva for walkies, and immediately the rain started again. It wasn't much - just enough to get wet!

I've had a really lazy day today - didn't feel like doing much. I did bacon, eggs, mushrooms, baked beans and jacket potatoes for midday as OH was going out this evening. OH offered to make us a sandwich when I got back from dog walking, so I've had a very relaxing evening!

Sun is really bright this morning.

Not sure if anything is happening this morning. Hubby out for a couple of hours,then he might be going to help BRO in law.
If we are ut, it might just be a pizza for dinner.

Chicken,leeks and mushrooms in the slow cooker,for some pies for the freezer.

GD1 3rd wedding anniversary today.

GS3 is such a good baby and a joy to have, but it does leave me less time online

It seems very cold this morning! OH tells me lady captain has decreed it too cold to play 18 holes of golf today so they are doing 12.

Library for me this morning then GS1 from school this afternoon.

Good Tuesday morning everyone.

Nanto, enjoy the sunshine. It's raining here, although it feels less cold than the 3C on the outside thermometer.

Gem, It must be cold when golf gets cut from 18 to 12 holes. I imagine a lot of the players are of a 'certain age', so playing in extreme cold probably isn't good for them. At least it should be warm and cosy in the library. It won't be long before GS3 is on the move and will be wanting to play energetic games with Grandma, so I know you're enjoying the cuddles while you can. xx

Another day with no plans for me. I had a really lazy day yesterday and still slept like a log. I'll take Eva out when the rain eases off later, and I might (but probably won't) do the ironing!

Opticians for me late morning, I am afraid she is going to tell me I need a cataract op she did warn me last time. We were half expecting snow today, it is raining atm I am stating to think my holiday with DS and Dil to Cornwall is creeping up on me. I need to buy a holdall as my large hard case will not be suitable as there will be four of us in DS’s car.

We have SNOW ,
just been down to Lidle for milk and it’s freezing cold .

Storm is loving it DD said he cried at the back door from 5am till she got up and let him out
Said he rolled in it run around then burrowed into it and went to sleep , he wouldn’t come back in so DD closed the door and snuggled on the sofa for a few hours ,
Still wouldn’t come in at 7 so she had to actually drag him in 😁

Just found out the baby our next door neighbours are expecting is a little GIRL. I'm so exited, happy for them as it is what they wanted and generally happy as no girls in my circle have been born for many years!

It just snowed here, very briefly despite bright sunshine!
We would never have noticed if GS1 hadn't been here. He was very excited and hoping school will be closed tomorrow

Hallo everyone, it is bitter cold here, not just cold, the wind goes through you! I was at friends this morning, they have just returned from the mountains of Norway, it is cold there but not the cold wind we have at the moment. I set off to go to the library this afternoon, got out and there was a hail shower so I changed my mind.

Gem, you will have a baby girl next door to love!

I managed to lose the weight and have been the same now for almost 9 months, so, I do hope I can stay this way now. I realised this when I got weighed this morning.
