I love my cordless wouldn’t have any other but the Dyson ball is a cylinder and I just can’t push it , it suctions to the floor and I find it impossible to move , B does the bedrooms with it as I can’t even carry it upstairs ,
My DD has a GTec and loves hers .

    Nanto
I will look for the pie when I go to Asda is it on the cooler fridges or frozen ? it does sound tasty .

Did GS sleep ok , he’s such a lovely boy my heart breaks for him reading about Daddy’s Vegan rules ,
Poor little lad is going through enough .
So pleased he finally got that award 😁 I remember you saying he wanted to win it .
A boost to his confidence no doubt .
Is the new Library open full time now or was it just a trial run yesterday ?

Storm has just had to have his paws washed ,
A big unknown Ginger Tom cat was sitting on next doors bins and Storm trampled all over the flower boarder to try to get to it so thick wet muddy paws were not coming in the house .
He got himself into such a state he’s panting away so made him come in to calm down .

Oma, I think my DIL1 has got a Dyson cordless, so I shall have a look at it when we are there on Sunday for GS2's 18 birthday. My GTec has been brilliant and I might get another one - I think the models have changed slightly since we got ours.

Storm was only defending you and B from that big, bad tom! He must have been gutted not to have chased it well away! We keep a dog towel spread out by the back door in this weather, and Eva and the other two dogs know to sit when they come in from the garden. It's easy to wipe their front paws, and after a bit of shuffling round on the towel the back paws are usually ok as well. They do get a treat for it, of course!

There were only 4 dogs in class this afternoon, but two of them are fairly new and Eva did well to ignore them when they went on 'walkabout'. She did well.

The sun didn't last. The roads coming back from training class were horrendous, but at least it wasn't pitch dark.

Oma, GS1 never sleeps well. He said he woke every hour an was downstairs by 5.20! 6am would be a good lie in for him. I will make a new thread about the library.

Well done to to Eva Daisy!

Mum was quite tired today, but was quite 'chilled' and enjoyed the Christmas cake and Wensleydale! I took her a bouquet of pink roses and carnations from M&S and they did look lovely. She coughed a bit when I was there, but that's good isn't it as its when they can't that pneumonia sets in in the elderly. I suggested taking the Christmas tree down next week and she seemed fine with that, so if she says the same next week I will.

The golf course was closed today due to boggy conditions. So poor OH had to stay home and watch snooker on the telly! She did make a rhubarb crumble too so I'm not complaining

Oma, this is the one i buy. It's not frozen. Its in the chiller where pies, sausage rolls and the like are.
You can freeze it if you like.

Gem, pleased you had a nice visit with your mum.

Daisy, i have the dyson stick hoovers. I keep one in a cupboard upstairs.
They make life so much easier.

We had a lovely afternoon visiting family.

Nanto, that chicken and bacon pie look very tasty! Are the stick Dysons light, and can you get them under, say, coffee tables? Glad you enjoyed your afternoon out.

Gem, it sounds as though your Mum is much better. I'm glad she's still enjoying her Christmas tree. It's lucky for S that there was snooker on the tv to make up a bit for no golf.

A fairly relaxed day for me. I managed to get Eva out for a walk before the rain started, and after an early lunch we went to training. The rain was so heavy on the roof of the village hall we could hardly hear ourselves speak and there was lots of standing water on the way home. But it was nice driving home before it got completely dark, like it was before Christmas.

              Good morning. Drizzling this morning.

Hubby out this morning with DS1,so an hour or two to myself.
Dinner is,tomato sausage, mash, cauliflower cheese and sweetcorn, with onion gravy.
Oh yorkshire puddings as well,DS loves them.

Daisy, the stick hoovers are light and you can get under coffee tables with them.
I wouldn't have any other kind now.

              Have a good day ladies.

Good morning ladies. A grey and dismal one here.

We use the Dyson stick mainly too Nan2, so light and quick to use. We do have a big heavy one, which we use sometimes.

Daisy with coming home regularly from school runs and afternoon mum visits I too have noticed that it's lighter, which makes me happy

A nice free day today. Visiting my mum on the same day as aquafit as I have the past two weeks makes for a busy Wednesday, but gives me a free Thursday.
There is Christmas sorting out to be in the spare room before we put it all back into the loft.
My turn to cook, I think it will be salmon.

I hope Oma's mouth is less painful today.

Good morning for a very wet and windy Holland! I hope to get the windows done inside as I won't be out and about much in this weather.

M and myself got the chairs down into the garage, I tided it out to make more space, M hopes to sell them so we shall see. We are both very pleased with our new chairs!

I had synergy yesterday morning, it is a new group and I love it. Later I went on the bike to take fruit I had for DIL.

                  Gem, enjoy your free day.xxx

We don't see those stick vacuums very often here, I have a Miele, it is 25 years old and still going, touch wood!!!! It worked overtime when I had a dog but is still going strong.

I will make a start on the windows.

Our Dyson stick is a pet one Lizzie, so it worked very hard when we had so many cats. It still has to with one cat, and with me losing more hair that is clogging it up!

How is your wound Oma, I hope it isn’t giving you pain.

I have a stick Dyson, so easy and quick to use, I gave my Sebo upright to my GD, it gave me a back ache although it was a good vacuum. I have to do a bit of a run around today, garden centre to look for gardening gloves for Sil’s birthday, put petrol in the car and go to M&S Foodhall to pick up a parcel. GD2 had a lovely birthday with her daddy, mummy had to work and they came here to meet up and have candles and cake.

Gemini, so pleased your visit to your mum went well and she was feeling better. I have never had fruit cake and cheese, must try it. Pleased your GS1 was happy to sleep in your home.

Fruit cake and cheese, particularly Wensleydale is delicious Plant, although adding even more calories! I think it is a Yorkshire thing. My ex was from London and his face was a picture when my mum gave him that combination for the first time
I'm glad H had a lovely birthday, is she 2 now?

Good Thursday morning on another wet and windy day. I keep telling myself how much we needed rain at the height of summer when we had a hosepipe ban!

Gem, any kind of fruit cake with cheese wasn't unusual in my part of the world, and it is delicious. But my mother had spent some years in Yorkshire when she was a child, so perhaps that's where it came from. It's good to have a clear day - you're very busy you need a bit of time to pause and draw breath! The slightly lighter afternoons make such a difference on the school run, don't they. I know you aren't keen driving in the dark (neither am I, really) so it must be much nicer.

Lizzie, good luck with the chairs. It sounds as though a day at home is a good idea today. What is synergy? Is it an exercise class? You've reminded me I never finished cleaning the windows before Christmas, but there's no point when rain is pouring down on the outside.

Plant, you are sounding much better - I hope I'm right. Take care out and about in this wind.

Oma, how are you today? I hope things are getting easier, less painful and you're managing to eat enough. xx Has B's cough gone yet?

I've got a free day as well. I might do some ironing - but might not! I hope the wind drops a bit so I can take Eva for a good walk in the Forest. I don't mind the rain so much, but she gets spooked by gusts of wind.

I've had a lazy start to the morning - it's time I got showered and dressed.

                            Morning ladies (just)

                            Nanto
Im going to Asda tomorrow I will get one it looks lovely 😁

Been to MILs , to take her food .
Full of moans , she had a new washer plumbed in yesterday and a new hoover delivered ,
The hoover is rubbish , the washer drum is too big takes to long said took 4 hours to do a small load ,

Turns out she kept turning it off as it seemed it wasn’t spinning then turning it on again so of course it was resetting to start each time .
Its a completely different make to her old one but expected the same settings .

Told her to send Hoover back if she doesn’t like it but she just pulled a face.

The chain had come off her bath plug too so she was sick of her life and felt suicidal.
At this point I had enough and told her people had real problems to feel suicidal over, what she had was inconvenient niggles that could be put right .

                            Didnt stay long ,
B still unwell and this cough is just not budging with him so he’s worn out with it ,
I didn’t have a good night my face hurt most of the night but doesn’t seem so bad now , I’m taking pain killers regular so keeping it at bay ,
I did manage Toast for breakfast , still sore swallowing but not like yesterday ,

                            Gem
I had Salmon last night as it melts in the mouth and not hard to eat , it was lovely
What Will you do with yours I just had the salmon rather than attempt anything else .

Fruit cake and cheese is a thing here too 😁

                            Plant
I bet baby H loved blowing her candles out, before you know all the babies will be at school 😱😁

                            Daisy
I think we all recommend a Dyson stick 😁
Eva is like Storm it’s the wind in their ears I think they don’t like .

                            Lizzie
I was wondering what synergy was too.

Its coming over very dark and stormy here , we in for rain for sure

Daisy, synergy is circuit training, 45 minutes and 12 different exercises, 45 seconds on one then 15 seconds to move to the next, it is really moving!! There are usually 12 of us in a class, the one on the Wednesday is new, there were 8 of us yesterday.
