A bit blowy out there, hope it warms up again.

I think it will be a quieter day today in our abode.

Hubby out for a couple of hours this morning,so i'll crack on then.

Couldn't decide what to do for dinner,so i think it will be chips, beans and egg.

Window cleaner just been, I suppose I will have to do the insides now! Apart from that it will be a go with the flow sort of day.

        Good sunny Friday morning, everyone.

Nanto, chips, beans and eggs was my go-to meal when hordes of hungry teenagers were around! Still a favourite.

Plant, nice to have clean windows, though. Ours are still getting covered in pollen.

We're off to DS1's for the day in a few minutes. It's a 'working' day for OH in the garden, but at least the weather's lovely, even though we've still got that cool wind. I've already walked Eva and Missy so we'll leave Missy in her own house as her mum and dad are due back late morning. We take Eva with us - she has a better social life than me!

I hope those who are away for the week-end have a great time.

          Good morning everyone.

I think better weather is coming soon Nan2.

A go with the flow day is what we need sometime Plant. My weekends are often like that.

Daisy, baby GS3 is wriggly to bath but is a very slim and lightweight baby! I find it hard enough to carry him, due to my back, were he a chubby baby I don't think I would be able to.

Oma and Mimi have a lovely break away!

GD and GS1 from school as it's Friday. Enjoy your Friday everyone.

Very hot here today. I overslept and didn’t wake until 8.15 so a late start for me. I have washed the net curtains and cleaned the windows, curtains ironed and back up. They are two big bay windows so a a good job to get out of the way. I don’t really like nets but feel like I’m in a goldfish bowl when they’re down.

Had a letter from the nurse I spoke to on Tuesday re my colonoscopy results just to confirm everything she had told me, it was good to get it as I’d forgotten some things so nice to see it all in writing. Just need to get the scan over with and hopefully that will be it.

enjoy your breaks Oma and Mimi, lovely to get away sometimes.

Have a lovely trip Oma. You deserve it!

Enfys, good to get things in writing as you say .

Slight change of plan here. GD has something after school. GS2 are going to the Designer Outlet not far from them. He likes the outdoor play area there, followed by McDonald's for tea

Nanto, yes, thank we had a lovely day, and have just got back. A day without visitors is quite rare in your house, but still good to have a quieter day, I'm sure. Enjoy your day out tomorrow.

Enfys, you have been a busy bee today. It's reassuring to see everything the nurse told you in writing.

Oma, you can't help wondering what would happen if you couldn't get to the surgery to sort out your prescription! I hope you both enjoy your week-end.

Gem, it's incredibly how plans change from one minute to the next. I hope GS2 enjoyed the pay area.

                          Good morning everyone.

I hope you have a good time in Pontefract Nan2.

Good to hear you had a good day yesterday Daisy, what's on the cards this weekend?

I hope the weekend-away-ers are having fun

I am having lunch and evening meal out today! There are a group of friends who eat out together (or as many as can make it) on or near each other's birthdays. As mine falls on a weekend this year I booked it for tonight and amazingly all 10 can come! You may remember I had to miss out on my OH's birthday meal in May due to a 24 sickness bug, so I am ready for this one!
DD1 invited me out to lunch with her and GS1 today. Then she remembered she has GD and GS2 for the day, so I get to have lunch with them all. Bonus

                            Good sunny Saturday morning everyone.

                            Nanto, enjoy your day out.

Gem, you are going to have a great birthday with two celebration meals today. I'm sure you and DD1 will have great fun with 3 of your grand children to celebrate with, and hopefully the 10 of you for this evening's meal will help to make up for missing out on OH's birthday. Have a lovely, fun day. xxx

I went to let Eva out into the garden earlier and 'something' has destroyed some small plants we were going to put in the garden today. No idea what it was, but they made a real mess with compost scattered everywhere. Grrrrr.

It's promising to be hot today, so apart from a bit of gardening I think I'll be enjoying doing very little.

Good morning, it is very hot again, it has been all this week, or longer, DS1 was in the uk all week and he said it was 14 degrees when they were in Liverpool on Tuesday, well over 24 here at the same time.

I have done my shopping and been to the next village on the bike, I won't be doing much it is is so hot. I did get my huge plant pots and potting table painted on Thursday so they are looking smart again.

I go away on Wednesday for a few days, the friend next door will do the plants for me.

Gem, have a lovely birthday, it is a bonus to get to see 3 grand children at the same time!

Daisy, could it have been a cat amongst your plants??

Nanto, enjoy you day in Ponti!

Oma, wherever you are have a lovely time.

Spent the day with GD and H yesterday, hence I didn’t wake up until after 10am. We went to ther Horses Trust where GD works and they stroked some horses, I sat in the shade. I am allergic to horses. It was very warm so we filled the pool for H when we got back. Today I am doing as little as possible. I am having a problem with my feet swelling, made an appt with doctor as DD wasn’t happy that one ankle was blue/purple.
