Daisy, I bet Eva slept happily tired after her social doggy walk

DD and SIL are in Spain with friends for someone's 50th. They arrive back in Leeds around 2.30 I think. Not sure what time we will get GD back, it depends on her plans with her friend today! We have no plans to go out. GS and I may do some baking. I will see if he wants to make valentine's cards for his parents too!

I have yet another cold, which began yesterday So far not too bad so hopefully it will be a mild one.

We have been watching the new Funny woman ,it’s set in the 60s and it’s about a young girl from Blackpool trying to break into the comedy scene , it’s very funny It has Gemma Arterton and Rupert Everett in .

Oma, having not had colds for years this is my 3rd since Christmas. I think it is combination of us all being more susceptible to bugs since all the covid restrictions, and my being so ill in the summer. I think that has left me a bit low on defences maybe.

No plans today apart from watching rugby later. I have ordered a waterproof coat from Cotswold Collections and some pyjamas from M&S to take on holiday. We are going to be quite close to the sea and I don’t have a warm waterproof coat and my nightwear is a bit washed out. We lost the flat in Sennen Cove and now have a larger flat booked in Carbis Bay, GS3 is going to join us.

Gemini, I am so sorry you have another cold, sounds like your immune system needs boosting, You and GS2 had a lovely day, very busy.

Daisy, The dog walk sounds very successful if tiring

We had a lovely morning with our friends ,
We went to a new garden centre near where they live in South Shields
very nice it was comfy warm and bright .

Afternoon is mine so I’m going to have a Nana nap 😁

GD1 is here, a neighbour has serviced her bike, in fact, it is like new again!!! She is going home with more than she came with, she went through my wardrobe, I made a tweed blazer years ago, I saw yesterday in the village shop that they are fashionable, so, it is going, it does suit her as well, along with a long white blouse and a few tops! Our BIL seems to have turned a corner.
He is being dishcharged from hospital,back to the hotel.
He has to go back to hospital later in the week for checks, and they will let him know if he can fly home.
Work have said as soon as he is able to fly,they will book him a business class flight,so that he will be able to lie down.

Morning ladies
A busy day for me ,
Have to see the Hospital Diabetic nurse at 8.30 ,

come back and our Hairdresser is coming to the house at 10.30 to cut my friends hair , She has cut both our hairs for many years .
My friend can’t get her wheelchair over the salon steps and is unable to walk into the salon it’s too far so Hairdresser is coming to cut it at mine as I have a no step access into my house ,

Its easier for hairdresser to come to mine than to drive to my friends after all she’s doing it on her day off so better close by .

We then have GS & Girlfriend coming for tea .
