Good Friday morning everyone.

The sun's shining here - at the moment. But it's rained overnight.

Gem, it must be lovely to get the chance to go out with your DD3 like that - I bet you both enjoyed every minute.

Nanto, having your garage tidier and cleaner is great. I'd love to be able to get my car in our (double!) garage, but it remains a distant dream. At least the kit car is making progress, but the rest of the garage is impossible! I think our two OHs were made from the same pattern!

We're going to DS1's today. Their weather forecast is ok-ish and OH and DS want to get a garden job finished. We may stay overnight, depending on how they get on. DS1 had some new treatment this week, so we don't want him to overdo things, but it's good for him to be active. It's a bit of a balancing act.

Eva will think it's her lucky week - training on Wednesday, Cooper yesterday and Bailey the BC today.

GS2 day today. Maybe GD, but at 13 she may have something else to do GS1 is being dropped off for a while too. DD1 wants to do some holiday shopping (and I suspect have a couple of hours to herself ) GS2 will be delighted.

In our old house we had a big garage, not a double but it was large ,
The car hardly seen the inside off it B always had something on the go in there
We don’t have one here and don’t miss one either,
Everyone in our cul de sac who do have them use them to store freezers tumble dryer etc never the car,
Nice to have a clean up though isn’t it, more room for more junk 😁

B has Drs at 9.30 strange a appointment was found when Dr wanted to see him but when he’s been trying to see Dr for weeks they couldn’t possibly find one available 🙄

I usually do a full clean through on a Saturday but I was up so early this morning I’ve done all downstairs and the stairs and hall way ,
Just the two bedrooms and bathroom to give a quick going over,
Did a dark wash it’s all dried in the tumble, No point trying to hang them out it’s so dark and damp.
I will iron them later.

Good morning, Gem, enjoy the GC today.

It is actually dry here at the moment, I had a lazy start, my foot hurt so much yesterday, I thought it could be from the new soles but as I hadn't actually worn them much I have decided it was when I moved the settee, far too heavy, I must have put too much pressure on the front of my foot, it is no bother at all now. If I had known GD1 was coming I could have waited!

I do have a garage, my car, bikes etc plus a lot from DS1 all fit in, then I have a huge shed as well, the more space, the more we store! Slowly but surely I am getting sorted.

I hope B gets on well at the doctor Oma.

Daisy, enjoy your visit to DS1, I hope the new treatment does it's work.

I am going to friends, the ones from the pool, then we are going out to lunch. I hope to go on the bike as it is easier getting to them then in the car. I will take a waterproof coat with me, just in case.

I (half) watched a film yesterday afternoon with GD1, she was more into it than I was.

GD1 woke me with a phone call at 9.30! This morning. We had a full day with H yesterday at a new fantastic playground just a short drive away in Marlow on Thames. I also finished off making the redcurrant jelly when I got back. I must have been tired. We are thinking of going back today if it doesn’t rain and having lunch in the new restaurant there. DD and Sil are away so GD is keeping an eye on me. I do garage my car, not much junk in there, just around the edges. My junk is mainly in the loft.

Oma, stop it, you are making me feel guilty and tired. Pleased to hear B has got the appt. With the doctor. I suppose you feel anxious about your GS as he is with a crowed of friends. Try not to worry, he is a sensible young man with good standards of behaviour.

Daisy, I hope you have a lovely time with DS’s family. All my good wishes about the new treatment for your DS.

Nanto, dinner sounds good, I haven’t had any new pots yet. Your OH must be a good handyman, he is always helping others.

B back Dr wanted to check his knee as he has problems there also , Dr thinks it’s the same as hips and spine, Osteoporosis
Hes going to ask the specialist when he sees B to scan that too.

Popping to Iceland after lunch , I had to wait for chemist delivering my meds this morning and they have just arrived so afternoon is free,
Being Friday I didn’t want to be out when they came or would have had to wait till Monday for them.

Very, very tired after another day with GD, H and GD’s OH. We had lunch out in Marlow before we went to the playground and the park by the river so I don’t have to cook this evening. We bumped into eldest GS’s wife and my other two GC, this new playground is amazing and very popular, it has only been opened a week. I have done quite a bit of walking, getting in training for the meet up.

Oma, pleased to read that the Dr. Is keeping his eye on B now.

GS2 and I went to the library this morning. He loved it, read a book there and brought 3 home. He gave his seal of approval to the bean bags the Friends funded!
GS1 came round for a this afternoon. They have all gone now. I have done some more packing. Final packing will be done on Sunday.

Drizzling this morning. Apparently there is a storm for some areas today. I think its mainly Wales and the South West that will cop it.

Plant, hope you have a more restful day today.

We are out today. Going to the farm shop, then onto the garden centre. We will eat there. I was hoping their new butchers would be open, but it doesn't open till the 18th of this month. Although I do have my favourite butchers in town.

Good Saturday morning, everyone.

We stayed up at DS1’s last night, and are just enjoying a cup of tea in bed. I have been down and let both dogs out, cleared up the poo. They were very considerate, performing side by side, fed them both and come back to bed! OH an DS1 did well yesterday. They’re building a lean to behind the shed but didn’t get the roof on. Do we stayed over to get it done today even though it’s raining. The boys can help with the heavy lifting.

I seem to have lost half this post. I’ll catch up when we’re back home.

Dull here but not raining right now. It is forecast though.

I enjoy a farm shop cafe Nan2, and a look around the shop part.

Oma, I am envious of B's cooking for you! A very important quality in a man to my mind My ex was very good cook, but he worked long hours so I was the main cook, he was the weekend, Christmas Day and holiday cook.

Plant, I don't mind packing, its just remembering to take everything! I make a list. This holiday is only for 1 week, we have a washing machine and will be in our swimwear a lot of the time so we wont need a lot of clothes.

This morning we are popping to Wilko, then on to see my auntie and go out for lunch with her. This evening we are going to friends for a catch up and takeaway.
