Good sunny Tuesday morning, everyone.

I'm worried about having to make quick decisions on roads I don't know with the automatic. We can't go the normal way to the hospital because of the roadworks. I used his car this morning to take Eva out and it's ok if I don't have to make quick decisions. I'd be happier driving 100 miles up the motorway.

I'll pop back later and catch up properly.

hallo everyone, daisy, I hope all goes well with the drive, I think we all have that when we have to drive (anything) something different, we get so used to what we have. I am not keen on an automatic, DH had one before he passed away, I did drive it though and managed, it was a Chevrolet pickup from 1968, very heavy on the steering, I don't think I could manage that now!

Oma, I hope the injections go OK, I am fine with needles, DS2 faints at the thought of them!

Gem, I want to find the post about your DD2 and I can't! I will do a search later on.

Enfys, I love ordering on line, I don't like changing rooms in the shops, panic in them, too small and enclosed for me.

Oma, I hope you got you shopping done without any problems.

I have been to the garage to get my bike carrier fitted, I am going away next week for a few days so need it. It is heavy to do it myself and they do it in a few minutes!! I want to go for a bike ride soon and get tomatoes on the way.

Gem, I do the coffee in the new building twice a week and then once in the old one for the art group, so, a lot of coffee. I do enjoy both, the lady told me yesterday they are really pleased with me as I know them all and fit into the group really well, I am even on the app!!! She said if there is anything I feel I could change I just have to mention it.

Well I didn’t get any dresses but I did but a nice floaty blouse white with flowers on and 3/4 sleeves ,
I then went into Pavers and got a lovely pair of Navy & White low wedge sandals with quilted soles reduced to £32.99 . From £59.99 so pleased with those .

Its nice to go for tea and a chat makes a change to the day doesn’t it .

While I was out we bought DD a huge bouquet of red and white roses as part of her Birthday gifts ,
She is 50 tomorrow , we will go to hers after tea with them all , Im not sure if it’s tomorrow she has her spa day booked or the weekend , we will have the dog tomorrow anyway .

They did intend having a holiday in Mexico as it’s also SILs 50 th next month and their Silver wedding anniversary
But that’s out of the window now they are buying GS a flat while he’s at Uni . 🙄😁

Pleased you were successful with your shopping Oma. Enjoyed my morning with the “girls” (3 of them are in their 90’s), I am making shorty socks at the moment to wear with trainers and a long stripy cowl ready for winter.

Just as I was pulling out of the car park I had a phone call, I have posted on YEO, lucky I stop and take it.

I have just taken delivery of some chub rub shorts to wear under skirts and dresses and my goodness they are so comfortable, wish I’d had some sooner. What a revelation!

A lot of my library work was on the computer this morning.
just before I set off to collect GS1 friends C and P arrived to drop off my birthday card. We just had time for a quick cuppa.
I'm cold this afternoon!

The roses sound beautiful Oma. It is SIL2's 50th birthday today. I think he has several celebrations planned but the family one isn't until 18th.

Daisy I am hoping your OH wasn't kept waiting too long and your drive back isn't as bad as you feared .

Plant it's lovely when something you order online is as nice as you hope. I have to say I have been lucky with the majority of online clothes orders.
That is everything for mum yes. As we sold the house all was settled then. Mum just had 2 accounts with the same bank so those make up the estate which is now with me as executor to deal with.

Good morning ladies, I hope everyone is well today.

Aquafit this morning, then coffee. I think both friends should be there today.
Hairdresser this afternoon. We both have our hair trimmed every 8 weeks and OH is having highlights for the first time in years! I am unsure about having mine trimmed today. I feel it's a waste of money as mine takes her such a short time. I may ask DD2 who did some hairdressing in her young days to give me trim to tide me over until next time.

It was cold yesterday.

Bird table, feeders and bird bath have been cleaned out.
All filled up with nes supplies.

GD2 coming for dinner today.She asked if we could have pizza and thin french fries.

Good sunny Wednesday morning, everyone.

I feel as though I'm struggling to keep up with everyone's news at the moment, despite constantly saying I'll 'catch up'. I am reading, but getting a bit of space and time to comment seems impossible! Nothing wrong, just lots of things happening. Today is dog training as usual, so I'm just going to take Eva out for a short walk and then try and do half an hour's gardening before I've got to think about an early lunch! DS2 gave me 8 tomato plants last week, and they're still waiting to be planted, so that's the first job.

OH's eye isn't too bad, but the friends who are helping with the kit car are here. He's supposed to be taking it easy, but needs reminding of that about every 5 minutes! Men!

Late start for me, I slept until just after 10am and I still do not feel awake. Lovely and sunny here already but I shall be indoors this afternoon playing board games. Skin problem is really getting me down, It is all over my body now, the small of my back is really bad. I have so many different creams in the cupboard, non of them seem to have any effect. Light treatment is apparently what I need but I am too old for NHS!!! Sorry to moan. It is GS3’s birthday today also, he is 24 and still as charming.

Gemini, getting your DD to give your hair a trim seems a good idea.

Daisy pleased to hear your OH’s eye isn’t too bad but you need to tie him to a chair. The kit car sounds very exciting.

Oma, you are very brave injecting yourself. I had to give OH injections into his tummy and he was quite skinny, I didn’t find it easy. I am sure your house guest will enjoy being with you. I hope your DD has a lovely night away and her spa visit.

I didn't have my hair cut, so I am £18 better off OH's hair looks lovely.

GD2 didn't come yesterday,she's coming today with her dad.

Dinner is chicken and bacon lattice,mashed potatoes,peas.sweetcorn,cabbage and chicken gravy.
There is sticky toffee pudding for afters if anybody wants some.
