A lazy day sounds good Plant.

Oma, I'm glad you have a break booked.
It's very nice here, and the forecast here is sunnier than where we came from which is surprising, We all think it's always dull over this side
We want to explore a bit locally. Lancaster, Morecambe, etc. We also want to try the pool here at some point. We brought our swimsuits.

Good morning, I am fine Oma, thanks for worrying about me!!!!!

I had a busy few days, I was busy booking a flight to the UK for Db's birthday in October, only to find out later that they will be in Spain! They are thinking about coming here in a few weeks time, hope they do!

Last night I went to help in the allotment and came home with rhubarb and radishes. I have just been to my veg man, I got a message the other day that he has new chickens so has eggs again, very small as yet but fresh, I also read the other day that if I make my kefir with "raw" milk it is an energy booster, I bought the milk as I passed the dairy farm and I am now making it, I will see if it tastes any different.

My washing has dried whilst I was on my travels.

Are you feeling any better now Oma? My head still isn't completely clear from the sinus bother, getting there but slowly, I do feel much better though.

When GD2 was in London (or Brighton) she bought sets to make stuffed dolls with, the idea is that she comes here and we do it together, I will start on one today and see how much work it is, I see she has bought 4!

Gem, enjoy your few days away.

Daisy, have a good journey home.

Happy Saturday Ladies,Not much to write about today I have just been messing about doing bits and bob's of tiding in the garden after getting rid of allsorts of stuff.
Brushed all the back patio and Jims back door area so it looks tidy for when the HA come to inspect it prior to reletting.

I have seen a Lancaster Bomber and 2 x Spitfires flying down The Mersey in celebration of 80yrs since The Battle of The Atlantic they where a sight to see.Tomorrow there is a fly past from The Red Arrows team I can see it all from my back garden.

Must close now I'm off to view another flat with DS1 at 4pm and need to get some shopping from Aldi first .

            Talk soon x

Good afternoon ladies. Another hot day here, too much for me I’m afraid. Also our neighbours have music blaring out so no fun being outside. I managed to get pots and hanging baskets planted up during the week, although it takes me much longer to do jobs now, I am definitely slowing down. I have a big birthday in a couple of weeks (another 25p on my pension, whoo, hoo!). I was planning on a nice family lunch somewhere. Ut with everything else that’s been going on I couldn’t out my mind to it. So DD has informed me she has something planned, bless her.

hope everyone is doing well, enjoy the sunshine if you like it, keep, cool,if you don’t. 😀.

Had a good day in Wakefield. Bought a few bits in town.
                Then shopped in Sainsburys.

                Its been very warm again.

Now Enfys, don't go on a shopping spree with the 25p.

hallo everyone, it has been warm here as well, I did my shopping etc then sat and made the toy for GD2, very fiddly! This is the site

https://www.sarahyoung.co.uk/collect...els-fabric-kit Then sat out on the balcony when the sun had gone from it, walking in I managed to spill water in the small room then later spilt coffee on my keyboard!!!! Not my day! It seems to be working ok so I hope there is no damage done.

Enfys, we are all getting older, a good thing really, a lot don't manage it!! When I look around, just here in the apartments there are so many ill, many not old really. Cheerful me today!!!

                      Evening ladies ,
                      Enfys
I was saying the same everything is taking longer these days , so frustrating as in your head you can do it , the mind willing but the body laughs and says no chance 🤣

                      Glamm
We live by the the museum that hold the Lancaster bomber , when they flew over our house to bring one here the noise was tremendous and it actually rattled the walls 😁

                      lizzie Pleased your ok ,
Thats a very tidy allotment, fresh eggs are a treat .
Hope your keyboard is ok .

                      Nanto
did you buy anything nice or was it just general shopping .

Well I’m not counting my chickens yet but I am feeling a little better ,
I decided to stop the Diabetic tablets that I was talking about and I think they may have been the culprit,
Its Day 3 of stopping them and this morning I was able to walk around B&Q then do a little gardening ,
After dinner we went to Iceland and Lidl and I wasn’t out of breath once

I see the Hospital diabetic nurse on the 5th who put me on them in the first place ,
Im telling her I won’t be going back on them that’s for sure .
Im not fat just 6ft too small

                        Hello, everyone. I'm back!

I'll try and read all your posts over the next day or so, but wanted to say we're home. We've had a great week with the weather - such a change for us - even though it was chilly first thing in the morning. The site we stayed at was very nice - we'd been there once before - and we had the luxury of a fully-serviced pitch which meant less work with getting and emptying water.

There were some very big and very posh motorhomes and caravans there, so we felt like the poor relations in our little old van. Nearly every van had at least one dog in residence! Eva's had a lot of fuss and attention from everyone. DS1 and DIL came down for the day on Wednesday. We had a picnic lunch outside and went to the nearest pub for dinner. It was a lovely day and we all enjoyed it. Apart from that we've done very little - a trip into Wareham one day, a drive out to a lovely pub for lunch another day. The journey home was good - once we found the A31. I think Dorset want to keep it a secret judging by the lack of signposts.

(Sorry, Oma. I typed this and forgot to post, so have just seen your comment about feeling a bit better. That's great news, but don't overdo things. It must be a known side effect of those tablets, so you'd have thought it would have been spotted by the various doctors you've seen. xx)

Daisy the Dr's insisted it wasn't but I did a little digging and it's a rare allergic reaction In some people that's what made me decide to stop them. Dr's looked online but didn't trawl through to see everything. X
Sounds like you have had a very relaxing week 😁

Nice and bright this morning. I have heard it will be a bit cooler today.

                            Daisy.

Lizzie, the doll you made looks very neat and so does the allotment.

Oma, glad you are feeling somewhat better.
Didn't shop for anything special, but it was nice to be out.

Hubby asked for salad today for dinner. Not my favourite, but i will eat it.
                            Having chicken goujons with it.

Oma, you do have to investigate things these days, not just accept that the medics know best. I do hope you have found the cause of your breathlessness

H will be here again today, she loves being here. If she wants to go somewhere in the house or garden, she takes you by the hand and leads you there. I usually get a visit, I have had to move the biscuits because she used to go straight there. I am shutting my eyes to the fact that the place could do with a vacuum, there is always tomorrow.

                              I will look in later.

                                Good morning everyone.
That was frustrating, I lost internet as I as posting a long post! I had to restart laptop, reconnect eventually to the internet and then the post was lost.
So forgive me if I don't reply to people individually again right now!

Welcome back Daisy though, and Oma I'm glad your detective work has hopefully brought you to the culprit with those tablets.

A good day yesterday with lots of fresh air and sunshine. My back is bearing up well, but my knee is complaining!
Sunny intervals is the forecast for today, with full sun back tomorrow. We are planning to go to Morecambe and wherever else the fancy takes us. We ate out at 2 different pubs the last 2 nights. I think we will eat at the restaurant here tonight.

Rushing to post before I lose it again
                                Happy Sunday ladies
